El día comienza con una reunión y presentación con el guía turístico. Sobre las 8 de la mañana organizamos la reunión en el vestíbulo de tu hotel. En la reunión se ultiman los preparativos del viaje, y tu guía te sugerirá las marchas que debes llevar. En la reunión tienes que traer dos copias de fotos tamaño carné y una copia del seguro de viaje. También te pediremos que pagues el importe adeudado, si lo hubiera, y que firmes el formulario de viaje legalmente vinculante, así como las cláusulas de exención de responsabilidad. Las visitas turísticas comenzarán tras la reunión y tu desayuno; el viaje incluye guía y vehículo turístico privado. Hoy visitarás tres lugares declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad:
Swoyambhunath Stupa - El Templo de los Monos (Patrimonio de la Humanidad)
Swoyambhunath es el lugar más sagrado del budismo y también del hinduismo, que se encuentra en la cima de la colina. En la cima de la colina hay una enorme estupa, que está hecha para los budistas y otros templos para los hindúes. El lugar también se llama Templo de los Monos porque en el recinto se pueden ver innumerables monos.
Plaza Durbar de Katmandú (Patrimonio de la Humanidad)
La Plaza Durbar de Katmandú se construyó en la época de los siglos XII y XIII, cuando la dinastía del rey Malla gobernaba la ciudad. Más tarde, el rey Prithvi Narayan Shah llegó del distrito de Gorkha e invadió el reino, seleccionando finalmente la plaza Durbar para su propio palacio en 1769 d.C. El Durbar tiene muchas diferencias de diseño arquitectónico exótico, talla de madera en ventanas y puertas. Templo de Pashupatinath (Patrimonio de la Humanidad)
El templo de Pashupatinath, el santuario hindú más sagrado del mundo, es una pagoda opulentamente decorada. Pashupatinath es un templo del Señor Shiva y su Linga (Símbolo Fálico del Señor). Según la cronología, se remonta al año 400 d.C. En Pashupatinath, puedes ver la criminación del cadáver y los chapuzones de los devotos en el río sagrado Bagmati. Justo enfrente del templo hay una selva, donde puedes ver monos, ciervos y otros animales.

Pharping
Pharping se encuentra en la parte sur de la ciudad, que goza de gran renombre. Pharping también se conoce como Shikharpuri Mahanagari. Se acepta como un estado newari independiente; allí puedes ver la típica cultura newari.
Templo de Dakshinkali
Dakshinkali está a 22 KM de la ciudad de Katmandú por Pharping. Es un templo de Kali, forma terrible de Parvati (esposa del Señor Shiva). La diosa principal del templo es la forma de Kali de seis brazos, una piedra negra; el principal método de culto son los sacrificios, especialmente los sábados y los martes.
Plaza Patan Durbar (Patrimonio de la Humanidad)
La Plaza Durbar de Patan es un palacio decorado con bellos templos pagoda de patio artístico. Destaca el templo dedicado al Señor Krishna, construido en piedra en el siglo XVII. En la Plaza Durbar hay un museo que contiene estatuas de bronce y objetos religiosos. La excursión de Patan también incluye el Campo de Refugiados Tibetanos y el Centro de Artesanía. Estupa de Bouddhanath (Patrimonio de la Humanidad)
La estupa de Bouddhanath está situada en la parte oriental de la ciudad de Katmandú, destino sagrado de peregrinación de los budistas. El telar de la estupa tiene 36 metros de altura y presenta ejemplares cautivadores del diseño de las estupas.
Templo Changunarayan (Patrimonio de la Humanidad)
El Templo Chagunarayan está situado en la campiña de Bhaktapur. El rey Hari Dutta Verma construyó el templo en el año 323 d.C., que está ricamente decorado con esculturas y tallas. El dios principal del templo es el Señor Vishnu y su construcción está a cargo del arquitecto bajo la pagoda.
Nagarkot
Nagarkot es una de las mejores y más cercanas estaciones de montaña de Katmandú, desde donde puedes contemplar la excelente vista de los picos nevados de la cordillera del Himalaya en la parte oriental. Nagarkot también es la mejor para ver el amanecer. Noche en hotel

Plaza Bhaktapur Durbar (Bhadgaon)
Levántate temprano para ver el amanecer y después de desayunar conduce de vuelta a Katmandú pasando por la Plaza Durbar de Bhaktapur. Es una plaza durbar, que cuenta con una colección de templos de estilo Shikhara y Pagoda y un palacio de 55 ventanas de ladrillo y madera. La principal fascinación de Bhaktapur es la Puerta de los Leones, la Puerta Dorada, la estatua del rey Bhupatindra Malla, las galerías de arte y el palacio de 55 ventanas. Tras completar el recorrido, regresarás a Katmandú y por la noche tomarás la cena de despedida en un restaurante cultural típico local.

BROAD ADVENTURE PVT. LTD requests you to read these booking terms and conditions of Broad Adventure carefully and to understand them before booking your trip with us. This Booking Terms and Conditions is a legal contract between Broad Adventure and you which contains important information about services provided by Broad Adventure and sets out the basis of your legal relationship with Broad Adventure.
1. Bookings and Payments:
1.1 To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with a 20% non-refundable but useable by postponing or transferable deposit as detailed below. This will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 We require you to email a copy of each passport and passport-size photo to our Kathmandu office, which is used to issue permits in advance for trekking, climbing, and other adventure activities.
1.3 After receiving a photocopy of your passport and the completed booking form with your 20% deposit, we will send you the final confirmation receipt.
1.4 All deposits required are per person per trip.
1.5 Please get in touch with us regarding direct deposit details.
1.6 A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.
1.7 On wire transfer, your mediator bank may charge additionally.
1.8 We only accept Visa or MasterCard and a 3.5% levy will be added to the card processing fee.
1.9 The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon your arrival in Kathmandu.
1.10 Broad Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.
1.11 We will accept your last-minute booking 2 days before the tour departure date, full payment is required.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Trip Cancellation Notice: To cancel your trip, please email us a valid written notice at least 7 days before the departure date. Cancellations will only be processed with proper notice and approval.
2.2 Refunds for Cancellations 7 Days Before Departure: If you cancel your trip 7 days before the departure date, 10% of the domestic flight cancelation charge will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the departure date.
2.3 No Refunds After Trip Commencement:
Once your trip begins, no refunds or reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to early departure, illness, personal reasons, or unforeseen events. By starting the trip, you acknowledge and agree that the full cost of the trip is non-refundable, regardless of whether you complete the entire itinerary or not. Broad Adventure will not be liable for any refunds for unused services, such as meals, accommodations, transportation, or other activities that you do not utilize during the trip. Additionally, if a group member leaves the trip for any reason—whether voluntarily, involuntarily, or due to the commission of an unlawful act—no refunds will be issued for any part of the trip, including any unused meals, accommodations, or services.
3. Booking Changes:
3.1 There will be no refund if a group member leaves a trip for any reason, voluntarily, involuntarily, or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation, or services not used.
3.2 Should you require other changes to your original tour, the person who booked the tour must submit a written document with the changes required. While every effort will be made, changes cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, any changes will incur an additional cost.
3.3 Suppose you are prevented from traveling on the tour by genuine circumstances, for example (without restriction) because of death, injury, or serious illness of the participants, close relative or friend, redundancy. In that case, you may postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. You must provide proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of $ 100.00 per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than two weeks before trip departure. There will be no options available 14 days before trip departure. Additionally, in some cases especially, pre-booked tickets, transportation, hotels, etc. will incur an additional cost.
4. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
4.1. All participants must confirm their attendance at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Failure to do so will be considered a no-show, and the participant may forfeit their place on the trip without a refund. Additionally, anyone who does not appear at the departure location at the scheduled time will be marked as a no-show, and the trip will proceed as planned without them.
4.2. We recommend staying in contact with our team if you anticipate delays so we can assist wherever possible.
4.3. If the participants booked their hotel on their own, the participants must inform or report their name of the hotel and address at least 24 hours before the trip starts.
5. Passport and Visas
5.1. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrive at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa costs are the sole responsibility of clients.
6. Travel Insurance
6.1. Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and adequate cover for baggage.
6.2. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruptions, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events. Broad Adventure is not liable for any costs not covered by insurance.
7. Health & Fitness
7.1. All our Nepal tours and treks require a level of fitness; therefore, you should always check with your local general practitioners regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It's the client's responsibility to notify Broad Adventure of any pre-existing medical condition and/or differently able that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.
8. Children
8.1. A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of eighteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.
9. Publicity
9.1. You agree that Broad Adventure may use images of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only through whatever medium it chooses.
10. Changes to your Holiday and Pricing
10.1. Traveling with Broad Adventure requires a degree of flexibility, good humor, and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation, and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement due to notorious weather in the Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival, etc. Broad Adventure is unable to refund any monies under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible, we will always endeavor to provide you with an alternative or substitute trip of the same category.
10.2. Broad Adventure does not accept any responsibility for loss of employment, delays, or compensation resulting from situations beyond Broad Adventure's control.
10.3. Our holidays and tour/trek packages are based on twin shared accommodation. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed on clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.
10.4. We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or under the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc.
11. Privacy
11.1. In order to collect information from you to make a booking through Broad Adventure we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will not be disclosed for any other purposes.
12. Risk & Liabilities
12.1. We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once-in-a-lifetime journey in this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire programs in Nepal are conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of their own policies.
12.2. Therefore Broad Adventure and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spots.
13. Our Responsible Tourism Policy
At Broad Adventure, we are committed to promoting responsible and sustainable travel practices. We expect all our clients to adhere to the following terms and conditions to ensure a positive impact on the environment, local communities, and cultural heritage:
13.1 Environmental Responsibility:
13.1.1 Respect for Nature: Clients must respect and protect the natural environment. This includes not littering, avoiding damage to ecosystems, and following designated trails or paths during outdoor activities.
13.1.2 Conservation Efforts: Clients should support and participate in conservation initiatives, such as minimizing waste, conserving water and energy, and respecting wildlife habitats and protected areas.
13.1.3 Leave No Trace: Clients are expected to follow the principles of "Leave No Trace" by leaving natural areas as they found them, without causing harm or leaving any trace of their presence.
13.2 Cultural Sensitivity:
13.2.1 Respect for Local Culture: Clients must respect the customs, traditions, and cultural norms of the communities they visit. This includes appropriate attire, behavior, and interactions with local people, especially in sacred or culturally sensitive sites.
13.2.2 Cultural Exchanges: Clients should seek opportunities to engage with local communities in a respectful and meaningful way, promoting cultural understanding and supporting local economies by purchasing local products and services.
13.2.3 Photography and Privacy: Clients must respect the privacy and consent of individuals they encounter during their travels. It is important to obtain permission before taking photographs or sharing images of local people.
13.3 Social Responsibility:
13.3.1 Support Local Communities: Clients should prioritize supporting local businesses, such as accommodations, restaurants, and guides, to contribute positively to the local economy and foster sustainable development.
13.3.2 Responsible Souvenir Purchasing: Clients should avoid purchasing souvenirs made from endangered species, protected plants, or cultural artifacts. They should support local artisans and buy sustainable, locally produced items.
13.3.3 Responsible Volunteering: If clients engage in volunteer activities, they must ensure that they are aligned with ethical standards and benefit local communities in a sustainable and responsible manner.
14. Health and Safety:
14.1. Personal Health and Fitness: Clients are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness levels and ensuring that they are adequately prepared for the physical demands of their chosen activities. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in any adventure travel.
14.2. Compliance with Safety Instructions: Clients must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by Broad Adventures' guides and staff to ensure their personal safety and the safety of others during the trip.
14.3. Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other relevant risks.
15. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
Clients must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of the countries they visit, including those related to customs, immigration, health, and safety.
16. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the trip or tour, you must inform your tour leader or guide as soon as possible so they can take appropriate action. Complaints that are not reported to the tour leader or a responsible person in Kathmandu at the earliest opportunity will not be considered valid or actionable.
By engaging in our services, clients acknowledge and agree to these responsible travel terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in termination of services without refund and may disqualify clients from participating in future trips.
