Today, you will explore the highlights of Buenos Aires on a guided city tour, discovering why this city is considered one of the most elegant and vibrant in South America. The tour includes a visit to Plaza de Mayo, the political and historical heart of the city; San Telmo, with its colonial charm and antique shops; La Boca, famous for its colorful streets and tango culture; Puerto Madero, the modern and sophisticated waterfront; Recoleta, known for its beautiful architecture and famous cemetery; and Palermo, full of parks, cafés, and trendy boutiques.

The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to continue exploring the city at your own pace.

In the evening, we’ll head to one of the most prestigious tango venues in Buenos Aires for a Tango Dinner Show. You’ll enjoy a delicious three-course dinner featuring traditional Argentine flavors, followed by an incredible live performance of tango music and dance — a true cultural highlight of any visit to Buenos Aires. After the show, transfer back to the hotel.

Today, enjoy a half-day excursion through one of Bariloche’s most iconic scenic routes: the Circuito Chico (Small Circuit). This panoramic drive offers postcard-perfect views of Lake Nahuel Huapi, Lake Moreno, and the surrounding snow-capped peaks and forests of northern Patagonia.

Along the way, you’ll stop at several viewpoints, including the famous Punto Panorámico and Cerro Campanario (optional chairlift ride), considered one of the best 360° views in the region.

To finish the experience on a sweet note, you’ll enjoy an exclusive chocolate tasting at a boutique chocolate house that specializes in authentic Belgian-style chocolate — a hidden gem in Bariloche known for its refined flavors and artisanal quality.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey to Puerto Pañuelo, traveling along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Along the way, we’ll admire the charming Swiss-style architecture that defines this region, with colorful gardens and flower-lined paths enhancing the picturesque landscape.

Around 10:00 AM, we’ll board the Gran Victoria to begin sailing across Lake Nahuel Huapi toward Puerto Blest, taking in the grandeur of the Patagonian landscape and the lush green tones of the surrounding forests.

Upon arrival in Puerto Blest, we’ll continue by bus along the Frías River to Puerto Alegre, where we board the Victoria del Sur to sail across Lake Frías. This short but scenic stretch offers beautiful views of Cerro Tronador.

We’ll then reach Puerto Frías, where we complete the necessary border formalities to enter Chile. From there, a bus ride takes us through the heart of the Andes Mountains to the small ecological village of Peulla, surrounded by stunning alpine scenery.

Afterward, we sail again across the emerald waters of Lake Todos los Santos toward Petrohué. Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Osorno, Puntiagudo, and Cerro Tronador volcanoes along the way.

To complete the journey, we travel by road to Puerto Varas, following the shores of Lake Llanquihue, with the majestic Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes dominating the landscape.

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a new adventure to explore two of southern Chile’s most iconic natural landmarks: an active volcano with a perfectly shaped crater, and the famous Petrohué Waterfalls.

The journey begins along the southern shores of Lake Llanquihue, where we’ll learn about the region’s German heritage and its agricultural traditions.

Upon entering Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, we’ll visit the stunning Petrohué Waterfalls, known for their bright turquoise waters cascading over volcanic rock formations — a true natural wonder.

We then continue to the source of the Petrohué River at Todos los Santos Lake, where we’ll stop to admire its peaceful beaches surrounded by towering mountains.

Next, we head toward the base of the Osorno Volcano, where we’ll have free time for lunch (not included) in the charming village of Ensenada. After lunch, we ascend to the volcano’s ski center, located on its slopes, where we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and lakes.

On the return journey to Puerto Varas, the dramatic landscapes of the Petrohué River Valley and Lake Llanquihue provide the perfect end to this scenic day.

Upon arrival at Punta Arenas Airport, a transfer will be waiting to take us directly to our accommodation in Puerto Natales, the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park.

Today, we will visit the iconic Torres del Paine National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding natural beauty and ecological significance.

On this adventure through Chilean Patagonia, we’ll visit some of the park’s most remarkable viewpoints and landmarks, including the Sarmiento de Gamboa Lake Lookout, the powerful Paine River Waterfalls, the Upper Viewpoint of Almirante Nieto Mountain, the Cuernos del Paine (Paine Horns), and the entrance at Laguna Amarga.

Once inside the park, we’ll begin exploring its incredible network of hiking trails, guided by local experts. A lunch box will be provided so we can enjoy a meal surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.

Throughout the day, we’ll continue discovering the flora, fauna, and unique geography of the southernmost region of Patagonia.

At the end of this unforgettable day, we return to Puerto Natales for the night.

Adventure Supplement: Trek to Viewpoint las Torres in Torres del Paine National Park 

Enjoy a free day in Puerto Natales to explore the city at your own pace or take part in one of the many optional excursions available in the area.

We recommend the Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier navigation, a breathtaking boat tour through the Última Esperanza Fjord. Alternatively, you can go horseback riding at Cerro Dorotea, a great way to enjoy panoramic views of the region, or take a trek to Cerro Benítez, a scenic hike known for its chance to spot Andean condors in flight

At the indicated time, we will transfer to the Puerto Natales bus station (Rodoviario) to board the bus to El Calafate.

Today, we’ll cross the majestic Andes Mountains by land, re-entering Argentina as we travel through stunning Patagonian landscapes.

Upon arrival at El Calafate’s bus terminal, a transfer will be waiting to take us to our accommodation.

Rancho Aparte experience will allow you to savor home-cooked meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The dishes are prepared with local products and a ubiquitous ingredient in homemade food...lots of love!

The menu is accompanied by selected wine pairings from Argentine and Patagonian wineries. Therefore, with each course we respect the aromas and flavors in a harmonious and palatable way. We have four fixed menus; two of them "traditional". They are based on regional cuisine and adapt the local products to a journey of unforgettable flavors. The other two menus are "vegetarians or vegans". They are designed so that those who choose this type of food can also enjoy this experience, where most of the ingredients used are selected from organic farms in the area.

We dedicate this day to one of the World’s Natural Wonder: the Moreno glacier. This ice field- type glacier flows down from the Patagonian Icefield, a big sheet of ice that with its 22.000 square kilometers is the third largest glacier area in the world, after Antarctica (14 M sq km) and Greenland (1 M sq km). Because unusual favorable local conditions, this glacier is the only one in the world that shows a closure and rupture process. The road leads to the very front of the glacier, which will be only meters away from your eyes. The roar of the chunks of ice falling inside the glacier or from the glacier into the lake, the frequent collapse of the front seracs into the turquoise water, makes out of this day a very special and unique experience.

Then we wil go up to “Bajo de las Sombras” from where, you will board the catamaran boat to navigate the Lago Rico where your will be able to appreciate the amazing ice wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier and its icebergs. Then we go back to our accommodation in El Calafate.

We recommend a full-day tour to El Chaltén, a picturesque mountain village located at the foot of the majestic Mount Fitz Roy, perfect for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.

Alternatively, visit a traditional Patagonian ranch to experience the authentic gaucho lifestyle, learn about local traditions, and enjoy a delicious Argentine barbecue (asado) in a warm countryside setting.

At the indicated time, we will transfer to El Calafate Airport to board our flight to our next destination: Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.

Upon arrival at Ushuaia Airport, a transfer will take us to our hotel located in the city center.

The rest of the day is free to explore the town at your own pace or join one of the optional excursions available in the area.

Domestic flight from El Calafate (FTE) to Ushuaia (USH) is non included. 

Después de desayunar, nos dirigimos al muelle turístico para iniciar la excursión. Saldremos hacia la isla Alicia, donde encontraremos una colonia de leones marinos sudamericanos. Luego navegaremos hacia la Isla de los Pájaros para observar cormoranes reales y cormoranes imperiales que viven cerca de sus nidos, y desde la primavera hasta el otoño podemos incluso encontrar sus crías. De nuevo, nos dirigimos hacia el este, hacia otra pequeña isla en la que, según la época del año, podemos ver lobos marinos sudamericanos. Muy cerca de esta isla está el Faro Les Eclaireurs, un auténtico símbolo de Ushuaia, construido en 1919. Desde allí tenemos una vista de la isla donde viven los cormoranes roqueros.

De regreso a Ushuaia, desembarcamos en la isla Bridges para pasear por un sendero de interpretación de la fauna, mientras escuchamos la historia de los habitantes nativos, los yámanas. En esta isla se encuentran los mayores "concheros" de Yamana de la región.

Al ser la isla más grande, alcanzamos el punto panorámico más alto, desde el que podemos disfrutar de unas vistas increíbles del Canal de Beagle con la ciudad de Ushuaia a lo lejos. Durante el viaje, ofrecemos café con licor, diferentes tipos de té, un delicioso chocolate caliente con galletas y bizcochos y, por supuesto, la bebida típica argentina, el mate.

Saliendo de la ciudad de Ushuaia, en dirección suroeste, recorreremos la ruta nacional nº 3, hacia el Parque Nacional de Tierra del Fuego. Tras cruzar el puente del río Pipo, junto al Club de Golf de Ushuaia, llegaremos a la estación del Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino, el Tren del Fin del Mundo, donde subiremos a bordo de uno de los trenes más mágicos.

Por un camino rodeado de bosques de lenga y turberas, llegaremos al Lago Acigami (antiguo Lago Roca), un lago de origen glaciar, enmarcado por montañas y bosques, donde es posible avistar ejemplares de aves autóctonas. El último tramo del recorrido nos lleva a Bahía Lapataia, tras atravesar el archipiélago de los cormoranes, turberas y una visita a una presa de castores.

En Bahía Lapataia, además de la costa marina, rica en moluscos y mejillones, encontraremos vestigios de los antiguos aborígenes que habitaron la región. Allí tendremos tiempo para recorrer la pasarela desde la que podremos hacer fotos y disfrutar de la sensación de estar en el fin del mundo. Después regresaremos a nuestro alojamiento en Uhsuaia.
