Día 2

Nairobi - Reserva Nacional de Samburu

After breakfast at the city hotel, drive north to the beautiful Samburu Reserve which along with Buffalo Springs & Shaba this area is commonly referred to ‘Samburu’. Arrive in time for lunch at the luxurious lodge/camp. Spend the afternoon discovering the unique wildlife of the reserve, which is famous for its elephants and lions. The reserve also hosts the unique species of the north – Samburu Five (Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich with bluish neck and thighs, long necked antelope Gerenuk, and the endangered Grevy Zebra). Return to the lodge. On your next day enjoy game viewing drives within the famous Samburu National Reserve.

Beautiful reserve which along with Buffalo Springs & Samburu this area is commonly referred to ‘Samburu’. Spend your time discovering the unique wildlife of the reserve, which is famous for its elephants and lions. Reserva Nacional de Samburu - Parque Nacional del Lago Nakuru

Tras el desayuno, comienza tu Safari Clásico saliendo hacia el Parque Nacional del Lago Nakuru para realizar un safari, famoso por sus flamencos rosas, rinocerontes blancos, leones y leopardos. Día 5

Parque Nacional del Lago Nakuru - Reserva Nacional Masai Mara

Your journey now takes you to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive within Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have one more day of game viewing with all meals and overnight at your camp.

Reserva Nacional Masai Mara

The Masai Mara is arguably Kenya’s most popular game reserve. It is famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film “Out of Africa” was made to a great extend in this sanctuary. There is a profusion of all types of wildlife including the big five. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and assorted antelopes from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June. The game reserve abounds with birdlife close to about four hundred and fifty two odd species have been recorded.

Masai Mara - Parque Nacional del Serengeti

Depart to Serengeti in the morning after breakfast with packed lunch. You will stop at Kenya Tanzania boarder at Isebania, clear with immigration thereafter change of vehicle from the Kenyan one to Tanzanian. Serengeti is a Maasai word that means ‘endless plains. The park lies in a high plateau between the Ngorongoro highlands as well as bordering Kenya on the north.  Arrival at the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at.

Main Destination: Serengeti National Park

Overnight: Serenity on the Lake

After breakfast, drive into the Park for game drive in the world-famous wildlife sanctuary, Serengeti National Park – the largest National Park in Tanzania is about 14,763 sq kms in area. Summed up as ‘one of the most unique areas in the world. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale, which has no parallel anywhere else in the world. The abundance of herbivores includes Wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Topi, Buffalo, and Hartebeest, just to name a few. Serengeti is also famous for predators such as Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Hyena and hundreds of birdlife species have been recorded. Enjoy your picnic lunch and thereafter, proceed for dinner and overnight stay at lodge on full board.

Overnight: Baobab Serengeti Camp

Día 10

Excursión Parque Nacional del Serengeti - Cráter del Ngorongoro

After breakfast, enjoy your game drive within Serengeti National Park as you depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch. Explore various areas Moro kopjes and Gol kopjes as you search for any kill. The extensive grasslands are interspersed with Kopjes – rocky outcrops like islands in the flat plain, each with their own wildlife communities. Discover the Seronera Rivers that flow through the park, providing habitats for a variety of birds, mammals and reptiles. Afternoon proceed to Nabi Hill gate where you will have your memorable picnic lunch, then proceed further to Malanja depression that leads you to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and then embark on the crater tour. The Crater is a famous for its Big Five and home to rare Black Rhino and has its own Soda Lake. Descend 2,200 feet for a thrilling day among Africa’s Big Five Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Black Rhino and Leopard, before proceeding to the lodge later. In the evening have dinner and overnight stay at the camp on full board basis

Día 11

Ngorongoro - Parque Nacional de Tarangire - Arusha

Tras desayunar en el lodge, despídete del Ngorongoro y sal hacia el Parque Nacional de Tarangire, mientras disfrutas de los bellos paisajes del camino. A tu llegada al parque, aclárate con la administración del parque y embárcate en el safari dentro del parque. Disfruta de tu safari dentro del parque, así como de los magníficos paisajes junto a los árboles baobab, ¡pensarás que son árboles arrancados de raíz! Más tarde, conduce hasta la ciudad de Arusha para pasar la noche.

Día 12

Arusha - Parque Nacional de Amboseli

Después de desayunar temprano en el hotel, reunión informativa y salida hacia el Parque Nacional de Amboseli. El Parque Nacional de Amboseli se encuentra junto a la montaña independiente más alta, el Monte Kilimanjaro. También conocido como el "Techo de África". Día 13

Parque Nacional de Amboseli

Este día disfrutarás de safaris por la mañana y por la tarde dentro del parque, con tiempo libre a media mañana en el campamento. Coronado por el monte Kilimanjaro, el pico más alto de África, el Parque Nacional de Amboseli es uno de los más populares de Kenia. El nombre "Amboseli" procede de una palabra masai que significa "polvo salado", y es uno de los mejores lugares de África para ver de cerca grandes manadas de elefantes. Los amantes de la naturaleza pueden explorar aquí cinco hábitats diferentes que van desde el lecho desecado del lago Amboseli, los humedales con manantiales sulfurosos, la sabana y los bosques. Día 14

Parque Nacional de Amboseli - Nairobi

Acclimatization: Upon arrival, you will have a night for acclimatization before embarking on the safari. It is advisable to dress appropriately depending with the weather.

Safety & Security: Normal precautions as in any other destination world-wide should be taken. Visitors are advised not to leave cash and valuables in their hotel rooms but to make use of safe deposit boxes and safes. One should never carry large sums in cash. As in all major cities walking alone or in small groups at night should be considered a hazard and avoided. Reliable taxis are available at all the principal hotels. Taking photographs is prohibited near military installations, policemen, the president, the national flag, the State House, state lodges, soldiers, prisons and prisoners etc. Seek assistance from your driver/guide before photographing local people & permission should be obtained.

Health & Medical Advice: The client shall confirm that he/she is medically fit, in good physical and mental health and is able to embark on the tour. Any client with a pre-existing medical condition or illness must declare such conditions to the company before commencement of the tour. Kenya & Tanzania requires a vaccination certificate against yellow fever. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate vaccinations. An anti-malarial prophylactic is highly recommended for all African countries. Please check with your doctor for advice on other vaccination precautions against typhoid, tetanus, polio, meningitis and hepatitis. Membership of the Flying Doctors Society is strongly recommended. In event of accident or sickness while on safari, the society will fly patients by air ambulance to Nairobi for admittance to hospital. A personal health insurance cover is strongly recommended.

Medical Supplies: All vehicles are equipped with first aid kit. It is advisable to travel with a small medical kit that includes any basic remedies you may need, such as antacids, painkillers, anti-histamines and cold remedies. Take along tweezers, and thermometer, lip salve, sun block, water purification tablets or drops, as well as your preferred brands of toiletries and cosmetics.

Travel Insurance: We advise clients to take a Travel Insurance cover before taking any safari.

Checklist for tour: A passport that is valid for six months beyond the intended length of stay, Entry Visas to Kenya and Tanzania, Return Air Ticket, Travel Insurance, Medical Cover, comfortable clothing & shoes, insect repellant, Camera, Adapter plugs, convertors for electrical devices, Sun glasses, hat, sun screen, Binoculars, Basic medical kit, light rain gear & Money for souvenirs,

 

Itinerary Disclaimer: Please see below;

A deposit of 50 % is required on booking of any travel arrangement and the balance cleared 45 days before commencement of the tour. A full payment is required where bookings are made less than 15 days before the tour begins. The deposit may be forfeited in case of cancellations and amendments.

Transportation will be in safari van or 4 X 4 land cruiser safari vehicle with pop up roof top. Trained English Speaking driver/guides are provided unless any passenger specially requests a professional Translator in which case, an extra charge will be levied.

The company and its agents act only as agents in all matter relating to tours. The Company’s liability to passengers is dictated by the appropriate law of the country in which the tour takes place; however, the company accepts no responsibility for any person’s illness, injury, delays, loss or damages from any cause whatsoever. Personal Travel insurance is highly recommended before taking any tour.

The company reserves the right to alter arrangements on the route or to cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time. In which event an equitable amount will be refunded.

Accommodation is based on per person sharing a twin/double/triple room or tent. Single rooms are available at an additional cost and all rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Children traveling with Parents: 2 years and below sharing a room with an adult is free of charge. Whilst sharing a room with one or two adults, children ages 3 to 11 years are charged 50% of per person sharing.

Easter Supplement US$35.00 per person per day Christmas & New Year Supplement: 24, 25, 26, 31, & 1 US$ 40.00 per person per day

Cancellation & No-Show Policy: Reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in numbers of occupants (hereinafter collectively called a CANCELLATION) are subject to cancellation and No Show fees at the discretion under the following terms:

PEAK SEASON:(1st July – 31st Oct, 21st – 31st December, 1st Jan)

0 – 60 Days 100%, 61 – 90 Days 50%

 

HIGH / LOW SEASON (2nd Jan – 30th June, 1st November – 20th December)

0 – 45 Days 100%, 46 – 60 Days 50%

 

Rates Increment: Itinerary rates are based on present date on Park fees, Government Tax and current Fuel price. In future if the Government and National Parks decide to Increase on their rates, an addition surcharge shall apply on per person rate.

 

Money Exchange: There are Forex bureaus available at the airport, malls, banks, and major towns. Major Credit Cards are often accepted in larger towns and at lodges, but in markets and with vendors along the road, cash works best, and bargaining is expected. We recommend that you take traveler’s checks rather than carrying large amounts of cash. Many travelers find it useful to carry a hand calculator to estimate dollar values while shopping. ATM machines are not widespread and may only be found in major capitals; consult your own bank before departure.

Trip Members’ Responsibility: Abide to the law of both countries (Kenya & Tanzania), respect the local people, do not litter, animals have the right of way and alight at designated areas or points in either National parks.

Transportation: By a Safari Toyota 4 x 4 Land Cruiser / safari vans with pop up roof top in Kenya and Tanzania.

Tipping: Although hotels and lodges include a service charge, it is customary to tip porters, waiters and safari drivers/guides. For your Tour guide/driver $5.00 per tourist per day is the recommended amount for most safaris. At lodges and camps, the recommended tips are $5.00 per tourist per day to be shared among camp personnel.
