Itinerario

Comenzar el Camino Portugués desde Tui ofrece una mezcla perfecta de historia, cultura y belleza natural.

Esta ruta comienza en la frontera con Portugal y atraviesa la apacible campiña gallega, pueblos encantadores y tranquilos senderos forestales. Desde Tui, los peregrinos recorren los últimos 100 km hasta Santiago de Compostela, por lo que es un punto de partida popular para quienes buscan el certificado oficial compostelano. El viaje está jalonado de iglesias románicas, puentes de piedra y una cálida acogida local, que proporcionan una experiencia del Camino rica y gratificante.

Día 1

Llegada a Tui

Tui es una ciudad histórica situada en la frontera hispano-portuguesa y marca el inicio del Camino Portugués en España.

Con vistas al río Miño, ofrece una impresionante vista de Portugal y un rico patrimonio cultural. El barrio medieval de la ciudad, dominado por la Catedral de Santa María, da un tono espiritual al viaje que tienes por delante. Con su mezcla de historia, arquitectura y belleza natural, Tui es un punto de partida significativo y pintoresco para los peregrinos que caminan hacia Santiago de Compostela.

Día 2

Etapa 1 - De Tui a O Porriño

Esta primera etapa de Tui a O Porriño recorre unos 17 km y comienza a los pies de la Catedral de Santa María, en el centro histórico de Tui.

La ruta sigue tranquilos senderos a lo largo del río Miño y atraviesa hermosas zonas boscosas y aldeas rurales. Destaca la iglesia románica de San Bartolomeu de Rebordáns, a las afueras de Tui. A medida que te acercas a O Porriño, el paisaje se vuelve más urbano, pero un camino panorámico alternativo ayuda a evitar la zona industrial. La etapa termina en O Porriño, una animada ciudad con todos los servicios que puedan necesitar los peregrinos.

Día 3

Etapa 2 - De O Porriño a Redondela

Esta etapa cubre unos 16 km y ofrece una mezcla de paisajes urbanos y rurales.

Saliendo de O Porriño, el sendero pronto asciende suavemente a través de bosques y tierras de labranza, ofreciendo agradables vistas y caminos sombreados. Un punto notable del camino es la aldea de Mos, con su pequeña capilla y sus acogedoras áreas de descanso. La ruta continúa por colinas onduladas antes de descender a Redondela, una encantadora ciudad conocida por sus viaductos y su ubicación en el punto de encuentro de las rutas portuguesas del interior y de la costa.

Día 4

Etapa 3 - De Redondela a Pontevedra

Esta etapa tiene unos 20 km y ofrece uno de los tramos más pintorescos del Camino Portugués.

Saliendo de Redondela, el camino asciende suavemente a través de bosques y ofrece vistas panorámicas sobre la Ría de Vigo. Por el camino, pasarás por la aldea de Arcade, famosa por sus ostras y su puente medieval, Ponte Sampaio, donde tuvo lugar una histórica batalla contra las tropas de Napoleón. A continuación, la ruta sigue tranquilas carreteras rurales antes de llegar a Pontevedra, una animada e histórica ciudad con un casco antiguo bien conservado y la famosa Iglesia de la Peregrina.



Día 5

Etapa 4 - De Pontevedra a Caldas de Rei

Esta etapa cubre unos 21 km y ofrece un tranquilo paseo a través de viñedos, bosques y aldeas rurales.

Saliendo del centro histórico de Pontevedra, el sendero se adentra rápidamente en un entorno natural, siguiendo antiguos caminos de piedra y sombreados bosques. Un punto destacado del camino es la aldea de Barro y las hermosas cascadas del Parque Natural del Río Barosa, un lugar perfecto para un descanso. La etapa termina en Caldas de Rei, una encantadora ciudad balneario conocida por sus aguas termales y su puente romano, ideal para relajarse tras un día de caminata.


Día 6

Etapa 5 - De Caldas de Rei a Padrón

Esta etapa tiene unos 19 km y conduce a los peregrinos a través de serenos bosques, tierras de labranza y pintorescas aldeas.

Saliendo de Caldas de Rei, el camino cruza el río Umia y continúa por tranquilos caminos rurales y senderos forestales. Una parada encantadora en el camino es la aldea de Santa Mariña, con su apacible ambiente rural. La etapa termina en Padrón, localidad profundamente vinculada a la leyenda de Santiago, donde se dice que sus restos llegaron en barco. La ciudad también es famosa por sus pimientos verdes y su fuerte patrimonio literario.

Día 7

Etapa 6 - De Padrón a Santiago de Compostela

La etapa final del Camino Portugués abarca unos 24 km y se llena de expectación a medida que los peregrinos se acercan a Santiago.

El camino serpentea por pequeñas aldeas como Iria Flavia, que alberga una de las iglesias más antiguas de Galicia, y continúa por zonas boscosas y tranquilas carreteras secundarias. Suaves ascensos conducen a las afueras de la ciudad antes de llegar al centro histórico. La etapa termina en la Catedral de Santiago de Compostela, donde los peregrinos se reúnen para celebrar la finalización de su viaje en este destino sagrado e inolvidable.

Día 8

Desayuno y fin de los servicios

Terminar el Camino Portugués en Santiago de Compostela es un momento de profunda emoción y reflexión. Tras días de caminar por bosques, aldeas y ciudades históricas, los peregrinos llegan a la majestuosa Catedral, donde el viaje alcanza su fin espiritual. Los últimos pasos por el casco antiguo están llenos de expectación, pasando a menudo por las calles de A Choupana o A Rocha Vella antes de llegar a la Praza do Obradoiro. En Santiago, la sensación de logro se ve igualada por la vibrante atmósfera de la ciudad, su rica historia y la alegría de compartir la experiencia con otros peregrinos.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by Spanish law, which shall apply to matters of interpretation, validity, and execution not expressly set forth herein. Camino de Santiago Reservations and the User, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, submit to the courts and tribunals of the User's domicile for any dispute arising from the provision of the services subject to these General Conditions. If the User's domicile is outside Spain, Camino de Santiago Reservations and the User submit, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, to the courts and tribunals of Zamora.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

­ 

The reservation and contracting of any of the trips included in this program implies full acceptance of these general terms and conditions.

­ 

These general conditions shall be governed by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16, approving the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other supplementary laws (BOE 287 of November 30, 2007), and other applicable provisions.

­ 

The contractual relationship between the organizing Agency and the client is governed by these general conditions, the specific clauses agreed in the combined travel contract, and the technical travel sheet detailing its definitive content.

­ 

The client is responsible for verifying the documentation received from the organizing Agency, and any questions regarding it must be reported before the start of the trip.

­ 

ORGANIZATION: The technical organization of the trips included in this program has been carried out by VIAJES CARMI, S.L., CIF: B-49305857, with its registered office at C/ Candelaria Ruiz del Arbol, 3, 3º Dcha, 49016 Zamora. This is an online Travel Agency duly registered with the Directorate General of Tourism of the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León, with license title CICL.49-030.

­ 

The Agency has mandatory civil liability insurance and a mandatory bond with the Public Administration.

­ 

RESERVATION AND MANAGEMENT: The services included are those listed in each catalog-brochure. In the event of changes to the trip by either party, included and excluded services will be reported in the corresponding contractual form. Upon acceptance of the reservation, the client must pay a deposit of €60 per reservation as a management fee, which is non-refundable. Once the reservation is confirmed, the deposit will be applied to the final price of the trip. If the agency cannot offer the requested trip, the deposit will be refunded to the client. Once all trip information and itinerary are sent, the reservation deposit and management fee will not be refundable.

­ 

PAYMENT METHOD: Full payment must be made by the client no later than 15 days prior to the start of the trip. Failure to do so will be understood by the Agency as a withdrawal from the trip by the client, without the right to a refund of the deposit made.

­ 

MODIFICATION OF RESERVATION: Any modification of the reservation by Viajes Carmi due to various reasons (overbooking, etc.) will be communicated to the client, who may accept or decline it. In case of withdrawal by the client, the Agency will not impose any penalty. If the modification is requested by the client, Viajes Carmi reserves the right to penalize the client with an amount of €30 per client and modification.

­ 

SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTS: Reservations that include nights between April 11 and April 20, 2025, as well as from June 1 to September 30, 2025, will incur an additional supplement of €30 per person for the albergue option and €60 for other travel options. This supplement may also apply during high season, local festivities at the destination, etc., if circumstances require it. Camino de Santiago Reservations will always inform clients of these additional supplements before accepting any budget.

­ 

CANCELLATIONS BY THE CLIENT: Clients may withdraw from the services at any time, being entitled to a refund of amounts paid, minus the reservation management fees, except in cases of force majeure. Cancellation fees are as follows:


a) Cancellation 10-15 days before the trip: deposit + 5% of the total trip cost.

b) Cancellation 3-9 days before the trip: deposit + 15% of the total trip cost.

c) Cancellation within 48 hours to 24 hours prior to departure: deposit + 25% of the total trip cost.

d) Within 24 hours to departure or no-show at the trip's start will result in 100% charge of the trip cost.

TRANSFER OF RESERVATION: The principal contractor or beneficiary may transfer their reservation to someone meeting all the required conditions, by providing written notice at least 15 days before the trip starts. Both the transferring party and the recipient will be jointly liable for payment and any additional costs arising from the transfer.

­ 

DOCUMENTATION: All travelers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary documentation for the destination country (ID, passport, visas, health requirements, etc.). The agency acts as an informant but clients must confirm these details with the relevant authorities. Failure to provide or incorrect documentation will lead to cancellation or interruption of the trip, and the conditions of cancellation will apply.

CANCELLATION INSURANCE: Those who purchase cancellation insurance with any trip will have the right to a refund as per the insurance company's terms and coverage.

­ 

JURISDICTION: For the interpretation, application, or claims arising from these terms, both the client and the organizing agency agree to submit to the courts of Zamora, waiving any other jurisdiction.

­ 

DATA PROTECTION: In compliance with Spanish Law 15/1999 on the Protection of Personal Data:

1. Personal data provided by our clients is included in a private registry owned by the travel agency and registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

­ 

2. The confidentiality of personal data in our files is guaranteed.

­ 

3. Security measures for stored data are documented and adhered to.

­
