From Loch Lomond, the tour continues north to the incredible landscapes of Rannoch Moor and Glen Coe, where you’ll be treated to some of the most breathtaking views in Scotland. Along the way, you’ll learn about the brutal history of the MacDonald Clan massacre and take in the dramatic waterfalls that cascade through this iconic glen.

Enjoy a full day trip to the Isle of Skye, where your experienced and knowledgeable guide will ensure you make the most of your time on this stunning island. You’ll visit the craggy peaks of the Cuillin Mountains, the breathtaking Trotternish Peninsula, and the dramatic Kilt Rock and Mealt Waterfall. You’ll also have the chance to see the iconic Old Man of Storr, a famous rock formation, and the Iron Age Dun Beag Broch, a well-preserved ancient fort. For lunch, you’ll stop in Portree, Skye’s charming capital, where you can enjoy delicious fish and chips by the harbour—just be mindful of the hungry seagulls! Your guide will help you discover the island’s hidden gems, making for an unforgettable day of exploration.

The third and final day of this tour begins with a visit to the shores of Loch Ness, where you’ll have the opportunity to join a boat cruise on the loch and visit the impressive ruins of Urquhart Castle (both the cruise and castle visit are optional extras, subject to availability). Afterward, the journey continues to Culloden Battlefield, the site of the last stand of the Jacobites against British government forces on 16 April 1746. You’ll have the chance to explore the visitor centre and interactive exhibition, which provides insight into the events leading up to, during, and after the battle. You can also take time to reflect as you walk the battlefield itself.

Next, we head south through the beautiful Cairngorms National Park to Pitlochry, a picturesque town that grew in the Victorian era as one of the gateways to the Highlands. Here, you’ll have time to stroll along the River Tummel, visit the craft and gift shops in the town center, and soak in the scenic beauty. The final leg of your journey will then take you back to Glasgow.
