Day 1

Arrival in Nairobi City

Met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to the Hotel where you are booked on Bed and breakfast basis. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be briefed on the rest of the day's programme.

Day 2

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

The safari starts in Nairobi, where our driver will pick you up in the morning and drive you to Lake Nakuru National Park which is approximately 3hr 18min. You will briefly stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint in Mai Mahiu. On arrival, you will enter the park and have an en-route game drive as you head toward your lodge. After check-in, you will have lunch and a short rest. You will have a game drive in the park in the late afternoon. Finally, you will return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 3

Lake Nakuru National Park

Today you will be up early, have breakfast and then head out to the park for a full day game drive; you will go through the different corners of the park for the whole day to view the numerous animals in the park. Because it’s a whole day experience you will have a picnic lunch on the drive. The game drive will end in the late afternoon and after that you will head back to your accommodation to refresh, relax and later have dinner and night rest.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

Our Day 4 safari starts with breakfast at the lodge . After morning breakfast 4hour await as we embark on our road passing the impressive Longonot earth satellite station as we head across the valley to Narok. We continue with our journey across acres of wheat and barley, before reaching our next game viewing destination in the world most famous Masai Mara. We arrive at the lodge and have lunch at leisure before embarking on a thrilling evening game drive in one of the finest wildlife havens on earth. We then return back to the lodge where it is time for dinner.

Day 5

Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, we will have a full day dame drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and it's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustard (including the kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sun birds.

Day 6

Masai Mara to Serengeti Via Isibania border

On this day, you will be transferring from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park (through the Isebania border). This transfer takes almost the whole day but during a great part of the journey (in the morning in Masai Mara and in the afternoon in the Serengeti), you will be doing game drives.

In the afternoon, enjoy the game drive en-route the tented camp.

Day 7

Serengeti National Park

After a morning breakfast (6:30am), we head out for a full day game drive with our packed lunch. Serengeti means "endless plains" in Kiswahili. This 6,900sq miles (18,000sq km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles. There are also large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax or monkeys also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. Post-lunch game drive continues until late in the evening where we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to the crater floor for a game drive(5 hours). You can expect to see lions, elephants, Zebras, Hippos, Flamingos, Jackals, Rhinos Antelopes and many birds. The birds seen here include eagle, vulture, and flamingos in the Crater Lake, stork, bats, giant vulture, sacred ibis, kori bustard, blacksmith plover, long necked heron and the cattle eagle. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. With a 1hr drive left to your accommodation in Karatu, the day will come to a close. Freshly made delicious dinner is kept ready for you at Farm of Dreams Lodge

Day 9

Tarangire National Park

At 8:00 AM after a luscious breakfast. The destination for today is Tarangire National Park where you will have a half day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centrepiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra.

Day 10

Tarangire to Arusha City

After breakfast, enjoy morning game drive en-route to Arusha and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 11

Arusha - Amboseli National Park via Namanga border

After breakfast drive to Arusha and transfer for one hour and drop off at Namanga border, meet with our Kenya guide and proceed to Amboseli for game drive

Arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Short siesta and at 1600 hrs, enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 12

Amboseli National Park

After a hearty morning breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in Amboseli National Park with packed lunch. Amboseli National Park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 5,896 meters, is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephants accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts - lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest to name but a few. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa.

Day 13

Amboseli to Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta Airport)

This morning, you will have your breakfast at your lodge, and check out. You will then drive back to Nairobi. Amboseli / Nairobi (265 km, 4 hrs) On arrival, you will drive to Carnivore Restaurant for a farewell lunch. Later, you'll transfer to JKIA for your flight back home.

After clients confirmed their booking they receive an invoice with all details. In order to confirm our clients’ reservation, we require a 50% deposit payment of the itinerary cost.


The balance of payment is due 60 days prior to the commencement date of your itinerary. Bookings made within 60 days prior to departure are subject to full prepayment at the time of confirming the reservation.


  • Cancellation policy

In the event that you cancel your booking, in full or partially, for any reason whatsoever PROFESSIONAL SAFARI AFRICA will levy cancellation charges as defined in the section below.

  • 60+ days before departure: deposit non-refundable
  • 59-50 days before departure: 50% of the itinerary cost
  • 49 days or less before departure: 100% of the itinerary cost

Booking Confirmation

Clients are requested to send at least 50% of the total cost of a tour in order to guarantee the reservation into our bank account as directed by our salesman.

When to Book your Safaris

It is better to book as far in advance as possible to ensure availability of rooms and other services at the time you wish to travel, especially during the peak seasons (July & August and Christmas time). This is especially important for those wishing to travel on private custom safaris and those adding extensions to the scheduled trips.

Cancellation

When the cancellation is done in a period of over 60 days of the safari/tour, the payment will be refunded minus the Bank/ transfer fee. When the cancellation is done in a period between 30 days of the safari/tour, 50% of the payment would be refunded. When the cancellation is done in a period between 7 – 14 days of the safari/tour, 25% of the payment would be refunded. When the cancellation is made in a period of less than 7 days to the safari/tour then the payment is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Nairobi Serena Hotel:

Backed by Central Park, this polished hotel is 3 km from both Nairobi National Museum and The Nairobi Arboretum.

Refined rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, plus safes, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Suites add separate living areas. Some have terraces. Room service is available.

Dining options consist of 2 bars, a restaurant and 2 cafes. Other amenities include a gym, an outdoor pool and a garden, plus play areas, and meeting and event space. There's also a spa with an indoor pool, a sauna and a hot tub, plus a steam room and a juice bar. Breakfast is available.

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge:

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge enjoys a reputation for its serene hilltop location, offering guests breathtaking views of Lake Nakuru. Spacious, clean rooms with impressive vistas are frequently praised, as are the extensive amenities, including multiple dining options and elegant charm. Service at the lodge is generally admired, with staff members recognized for their warmth and efficiency.

However, some guests have pointed out the need for more responsive shuttle services. While the overall cleanliness is commendable, there have been suggestions for improved upkeep of cleaning supplies. The lodge's tranquil atmosphere and beautiful architecture make for a comfortable stay, yet a few travelers note the value of the lodge may not fully align with the costs incurred.

Masai Mara Sopa Lodge:

Located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Masai Mara Sopa Lodge was one of the first safari lodges to be built in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, a reason why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature. All the buildings follow the design of traditional African round houses with conical roofs, and these stretch along the line of the hills with the impressively large public area buildings and the swimming pool at their centre.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge:

Nestled in a prime spot for family-friendly adventures and wildlife encounters, Amboseli Sopa Lodge delights guests with its traditional African vibe and vibrant cultural experiences. While some guests have called out the rooms for being a bit dated and occasionally lacking in cleanliness, many appreciate the spaciousness and the meticulous upkeep of the bed linens and bathrooms. The lodge's range of amenities, including a bar and pool with stunning views, is popular among travelers, although the absence of room WiFi and inconsistent hot water supply have been noted.

Service at the lodge earns high marks for the staff's friendliness and attentiveness, despite occasional hiccups. Meanwhile, opinions on value vary, with the bar's reasonable prices and the quality of meals receiving praise, but the cost of wine sometimes raising eyebrows.

Serengeti Safari Lodge:

Farm of Dreams Lodge:

The Lodge is located in the tourist town of Karatu on the Western south Slopes of Ngorongoro Crater at the 1,400 feet above sea level; the Lodge sits in a garden of flowers and vegetables. The property offers spectacular sweeping views of the hills and close distant to the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park.

The warm and cosy rooms overlook the reserve and tropical gardens, the large en-suite bathrooms include WC, shower and washbasins as well as luxurious toiletries. The bedrooms open up to a terrace that is furnished with a table and chairs.

Maweninga Tented Lodge Camp:

The 16 canvas tents have been built on individual raised wooden platforms.

They are quite similar in terms of lay-out and decoration, but each with its own special bush feeling.

The safari canvas tents feature an open terrace, a bedroom and a dressing room alcove with en-suite bathroom (flush toilets, wash basin and shower (24 hour hot water).

Arusha Planet Lodge:

Surrounded by trees, this relaxed lodge with a collection of rondavel-style buildings is 12 km from Lake Duluti, 13 km from Arusha National Park and 8 km from Arusha station.

The casual rooms with dark wood furnishings and exterior entrances feature flat-screen TVs and balconies, plus Wi-Fi access.

Breakfast and secure parking are available. Other amenities include a laid-back restaurant, an outdoor pool and local shuttle service.
