Pikey Peak Trek, a new practiced trekking package of Everest section passes the route used by the adventurers Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa. The trek leads to the vantage point, hilltop from where you can see the first and last rays of the sun over the magnificent Himalayas.
Along with the astonishing views of the white peaks including views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Gauri Shankar, Mera Peak and many more, you can explore the culture, lifestyle of the diverse ethnic groups closely. This off the beaten and less crowded trial way also offers them opportunities to explore antique gompas, monasteries Mani walls and stupas.
This moderately difficult trek begins from Dhap Bazaar and ends at Phaplu. On the way, we pass through the settlements, lush hills, forests covered by the pine, rhododendron and oak trees. Following the off the beaten trail, we reach the hilltop- Pikey Peak (4065m) witnessing the astonishing panoramic views of the Himalayas. Further, we head towards Phaplu passing several Sherpa settlements, Monasteries, gompas and stupas including the Buddhist culture and traditions.

Welcome to Nepal! As you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, will meet our office representatives. Subsequently you will be shifted to your respective hotel via private vehicle/tourist bus. You do not have any planning program today. Just get refreshed and recover your long jetlagged. You will have a guided tour today. After having an early meal, you will be picked up and transverse towards the historical, cultural and religious sites of the valley.
We will head towards the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO including Swyambhunath(monkey temple), Pasupatinath, Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Throughout the excursion, you will explore the history, culture, lifestyle and religious values of the different Hindu and Buddhist Shrines as well as former royal palace-Kathmandu Durbar Square.
After the tour, you will have a small meeting with your trekking guide. He/she will suggest you the gears needed throughout your upcoming Pikey Peak Trek. You can prepare accordingly in he evening. Overnight at Kathmandu. Included meals: B,
After inhaling an early meal, we catch a private vehicle/tourist bus for Dhap Bazaar. To reach there, we initially follow the B. P. Highway reaching the small town of Ghumri. This town is situated at the watershed of Sunkoshi river.
Upon reaching Ghumri, we head towards Dhap Bazaar following rhododendron forest. As our destination is in higher elevation, we move upwards by the vehicle. Eventually we reach at Dhap Bazaar to spend our overnight there. Overnight at Dhap Bazaar. Included meals: B, L, D.
Our trek begins from this day. After the first meal of the day, we begin our journey. We shall follow the unreconstructed trial crossing the village of Sigane. On the way, we will experience the picturesque views of Nambur Himal and Mt. Everest. In this way we will contact to Japre village and stay overnight there. Overnight at Jhapre. Included meals: B, L, D.
Get up viewing the first rays if the sun over the Himalayas. Taking breakfast, we head towards the Bhulbhule-the best vantage point of the magnificent Everest Massif. Following the trial via rhododendron forest, crossing the Yak pasturelands, we reach the ridge of Taklung Danda. Again, continuing the trek, through the rhododendron forests, long Mani walls and enjoying the astonishing views of the white peaks, we eventually reach at Pikey Base Camp where we spend overnight. Overnight at Pikey Base Camp. Included meals: B, L, D.
Today, beginning our journey early in the morning, we reach the highest point- Pikey Peak (4065m). We ascend towards the peak. Upon reaching there, we have the picturesque, astonishing 360-degree views of the peaks such as Mt Everest, Thamsherku, Numbur Himal, Kangtega, Dhaulagiri in the west, Mera Peak, Mt. Gaurishankar and many more.
Having the breathtaking views of the Himalayas, we descend to Lamjura pass and further to Junbesi. On the way down, we shall experience of alpine scenery, many stupas and Mani walls including attractive prayer flags. Overnight at Junbesi. Included meals: B, L, D.
his day is scheduled as a resting and exploring day. After having our early meal, we head upwards for Thupten Choling Gompa following Junbesi River. We get chance to explore the rich culture and heritage here. We shall explore the village, untouched Sherpa land and the way of living of the locals as well. Overnight at Junbesi. Included meals: B, L, D.
The last day of the trek is ahead. We head leaving the Junbesi in the background, following a friable way. We march sideways of Junbesi Khola. Further marching, we reach Beni Ghat crossing a suspension bridge.
Subsequently, we pass through lavish forests, terrains, farmlands for Phaplu. On the excursion, we have the great chance to explore scenic beauty début new vistas and cultural engagement. Overnight at Phaplu. Included meals: B, L, D
There are two options to reach Kathmandu. If we catch the Bus/Private vehicle, it takes 9 hours to reach Kathmandu. On the way you can see several lush hills, forests, mountain cliffs, streams and rivers.
Otherwise, you can fly to Kathmandu as well. Catching the early flight, you can land spending approximately 30 minutes. In the flight, you can have the picturesque views of the snow-clad peaks.
As you reach Kathmandu either way, will be transferred your respective hotel. In the evening you can do some shopping around Thamel Bazaar buying Nepalese souvenirs for your beloved ones. Overnight at Kathmandu. Included meals: B, L, D.
