Depart from Marrakech and drive towards Oukaimeden (the trek’s starting point), where you will meet your mule team and begin the adventure. Before setting off, visit the area’s ancient rock carvings, a fascinating glimpse into Morocco’s prehistoric past.
The trek starts with a climb over the Tizi n’Addi Pass (2,960m), offering spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. From here, descend towards the beautiful Imnane Valley and the village of Tacheddirt (2,300m), one of the highest Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains.
- Overnight in a local gîte (Berber guesthouse) or tents.
