We travel south with our first stop in Latvia at Aluksne. Shortly after, we arrive at Stameriena, often referred to as the "pearl of European romanticism" due to its close ties with the Italian writer Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. Following our visit, we continue to Cesvaine, where we tour a small, private beer brewery and enjoy a tasting session of their local brews.
