8-Day Romantic Honeymoon tour

On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur guide and transferred to Negombo. (Approx. 30 min. drive). On arrival in the hotel, spend the day at leisure relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities. 

Evening, you will be driven to a nearby river to enjoy romantic private cruise dinner. You will arrive and board a beautifully decorated ferry to embark on your romantic dinner. The ferry is lit with natural lanterns as you glide around 300-500 meters at a low speed along the scenic river. Surrounded by mangrove vegetation, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you are served by a personal butler, a chef and a ferryman. You can select any of the three specially designed 4-course dinner menus with a choice of seafood, meat or Sri Lankan/Eastern specialties. A bottle of sparkling wine is served to complement your dinner and tea and coffee will be served at the end of the meal.

After breakfast, you will drive to Belihuloya. (Approx. 4 hrs and 30 min. drive) You will start your walking trail in the village of Belihuloya with your guide. You will walk through beautiful paddy fields and the friendly welcoming breeze that blow through. (Unpaved muddy path and possible leech bites can be expected). Meet the villagers here, peep into their lives and learn their living style and also you can have a chat with them enjoying a snack. Don't forget to take pictures of the beautiful scenery! Arrive back at your hotel refresh with worm water shower before enjoying your BBQ dinner at one of the outside dining locations in the property under the starts. Spend overnight at a 4* Hotel. Wake up early in the morning and experience the sunshine over the mountains whilst discovering the wonder of nature surrounded by the hotel. After breakfast, your guide will take you through another memorable walking trail to a waterfall in the property premises. Tranquil dip in this natural rock pool. No harsh chemicals, just you, pure mountain water and natural stone. This is a marvelous creation of nature! (Involves a somewhat adventurous, challenging short climb walks) Spend rest of the day enjoying the chalet facilities. You can go to the birds Nest setup on the tree with your loved ones and witness the breath-taking views around and have a chat. Late evening you can engage in star glazing with a high powered Telescope. This event you can convert into a challenging game with your partner to witness and identify the star patterns in the sky. After breakfast, you will be taken to Ella (approx. 2 hours drive). 

Explore the three most famous and iconic attractions in Ella on this private guided tour. During your day, you will get the experience of Ella gap form the top of both Ella rock and Little Adams peak & visit 9 Arch Bridge, one of the iconic bridges in Sri Lanka. Ella is a famous mountain village & a paradise of hills with stunning views. The view of Ella gap is the main attraction which can be best witnessed from the top of Ella Rock or Little Adams peak. This easygoing walk through tea plantations to temples, waterfalls and viewpoints will tell you all about the natural beauty of Ella.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Ella railway station where you will board the train for a scenic train journey to Haputhale station. On arrival to Haputale town, start the walk to the Adhisam Bungalow. You will walk by passing the tea plantations, jungles and villages who are selling the strawberries long the way. Adisham is a monastery run by Benedictine Monks. It is also named as St. Benedict's monastery. The pages of history reveal that the creator of this enthralling place is Sir Thomas Lister Villiers. Sir Thomas was born in 1869 in Adisham, an ancient village which lies in the hollow of the Kent country side. Wrapped in the tranquility of the misty hills, Adisham Bungalow attracts every eye that falls on it. In the afternoon, you will walk to Haputale station for your ride back to Ella. 

In the evening you will enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Nuwara Eliya. (Approx. 2 hrs drive) on arrival enjoy a city tour in Nuwara Eliya which is known as little England. The town of Nuwara Eliya enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year. A favorite retreat of the British during colonial times, the town is dotted with English country style houses and half-timbered bungalows. During this tour, you will visit Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, 19th century Golf Club and drive around the city. 

In the evening, you will be taken to Calamander Lake for a romantic candlelit dinner by the Gregory Lake. 

Spend overnight at a 3* Hotel. Your stay is on Bed & Breakfast basis. 

After breakfast, you will be driven to Kandy. (Approx. 2 hrs and 30 min. drive). On your way, you will see acres & acres of greenery, tea plantations all around. Step in to a tea factory and experience the glimpse of Ceylon tea making process and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea. 

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a city tour in Kandy. To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. The Bahirawakanda Buddha stature that is known as big Buddha is one of the most scenic places in the city. The Kandy Lake that was built by king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1807 is one of the major highlights in the city. The upper lake drive is more scenic and memorable. Today Kandy is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts, Dancing, Music and Culture. Visiting gem lapidary, art and craft center along with a traditional cultural show will complete the city tour in this small historical town.
