Itinerary

This safari gives our clients to experience the three most popular parks that are available in Kenya. They have a chance to spend 7 days and 6 nights in Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park and Amboseli National Park. Here you get a chance to experience the big five in Maasai Mara.

The Maasai Mara is also known for its famous Wildebeest Migration that happens in the course of the year. Our clients also get a chance to experience a safari to Lake Nakuru which is famous for its beautiful Flamingoes. There are also other species of animals like the white rhinos, lions, leopards and the endangered Rothschild giraffe, buffalos, baboons and the like. Amboseli National Park which is crowned by the presence of Mt. Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa.

Amboseli is popularly known for the large herds of Elephants that are found there. There is also a high chance of getting to find the big five there. One could also get a chance to see a variety of water fowls. There is also a chance to experience the contemporary Maasai culture and indigenous lifestyle that the area has to offer.

Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

During this safari, you'll leave Nairobi early in the morning, driving along the Mombasa – Nairobi highway. It is best to depart before dawn to get to Amboseli is a good time for game viewing.

Amboseli National Park is arguably the second most popular animal park after Maasai Mara National Reserve. It is 260km (160 miles) from Nairobi, on the border of the neighboring country of Tanzania. Its magnificent placement at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, combined with its excellent opportunity to view Kenya’s animals, makes it one of the best places for safaris.

Day 2

Amboseli to Nairobi (Giraffe Centre)

Amboseli to Nairobi

You'll go for an early morning game drive from 6:00 am to 8:00 am. Then you'll go back to the lodge for breakfast and check out by 10:00 am. Drive to Nairobi via the Nairobi-Mombasa road, will head for lunch in Nairobi, then later visit Giraffe Center.

After these excursion will take you to your accomodation for the night, Radisson Blu (Dinner here is not included).

Day 3

Nairobi to Masasai Mara National Park (Entim Luxury Camp)

Pick up from Nairobi hotel in the morning and start your Masai Mara Safari. Drive to Masai Mara , via The Great African Rift Valley escarpment and the famous Masai Town, Narok.

This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Entim Mara Luxury Camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see.

Day 4

Full Day in Maasai Mara

Full day exploring Masai Mara Game Reserve

The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September, zebra, impala, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelles are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.

During the stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. Early morning game drive, then return at the camp for breakfast. After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru where you will arrive for lunch. After lunch game drive in Lake Nakuru.

Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
