Itinerary

In these safari you have a chance of seeing all the big five while having a unique opportunity of an optional biking safari.You will crown the experience with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

This package contain two parts.

Part 1: From Masai Mara National Park to Lake Nakuru you will have a Group joining safari.

Part 2: From Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park will be a private safari.

Tour program

Day 1

Nairobi to Mara

At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your hotel/airport and commence the drive to Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arrive Maasai Mara at the time of lunch.

Later depart for a evening game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve between 4-6:30pm. Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.

Day 2

Full Day in Mara.

Spend the full day exploring Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches under a croton tree shade in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river.

A balloon safari at USD420 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration.

Day 3

Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru

Early breakfast then depart for your drive to Lake Nakuru with a brief stop at Maasai Village for cultural encounter- Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people as you en route out of Maasai Mara

Thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru- A complimentary simple lunch will be provided at a trvellers motel on the way. Arrive at the resort and have the rest of the evening at leisure. You will have dinner and overnight stay at Lanet matfam (http://lanetmatfamresort.co.ke/)

Day 4

Nakuru to Naivasha

You will have an early breakfast, check out and depart by 7am to straight to Lake Nakuru National Park for game drive. It’s a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingoes.


The game drive lasts 3 -4 hours, after which you will enjoy game viewing on your way out.


The ecosystem is comprised of the lake, surrounded by wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity including Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds, and the Black and White Rhinoceros which are the major attractions of the area.


You will have lunch at a traveler’s motel in Naivasha.


After Lunch head to Lake Naivasha for a 1-hour boat ride.


While on the boat ride, enjoy bird watching, eagle feeding, see the pelicans and hippo viewing. Once your boat ride comes to an end, return to the dock.


On this day, you can opt to add a visit to Crescent Island at an extra cost of @ USD 35 per person or 2 Hours Horse riding at Sanctuary Farm at an extra cost of @ USD 70 per person.

Day 5

Naivasha - Amboseli

Early breakfast and check out of the hotel by 7:00am to proceed to Hells Gate National Park where you will start the biking Safari. Experience a Guided Tour as you watch different Animals Species like Zebras, Buffalos, Giraffes, Antelopes among others as you bike.


Have a guided walk in the gorge where you will visit the gorges inside the park. Gorges are small thin depressions of land mass where you can walk underneath. Some areas have formed caves where you can walk through.


Finish the tours and bring the bikes back at the gate. If you can not bike -you have the option of  exploring the Park by foot or by using the car.


Hell's Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. Hell’s Gate is a unique attraction because of its bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy biking, rock climbing and a natural spa famed for the intense geothermal activity within its boundaries.


Drive to Naivasha Kifaru restaurant or Mai Mahiu hotel for Lunch. Start of drive to Amboseli to arrive in the evening. Check in to the Lodge swim and relax. The game drive will be on the next day.

Day 6

Amboseli Full day

Full day game drive at Amboseli National park  which runs from 7am:4pm in the evening. Have a picnic packed lunch.

The game Proceeds to the area of Lake Amboseli, which is a wide salt pan, consisting of permanent swamps. This area has much game, large and small, high concentration of Elephant, rhino, buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Masai giraffe and small species of the antelope family, the common water buck, klipspringer, Grant’s gazelle, impala, topi, and the diminutive duiker among others. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Amboseli National Park offers a unique and breathtaking backdrop for viewing Africa's animals. It also has a dry Pleistocene lake basin that houses a temporary lake, Lake Amboseli, after the rains.

Day 7

Amboseli to Nairobi

You will have breakfast and enjoy the last early morning game drive in the Amboseli National park. Thereafter commence drive back to Nairobi.. We will provide a complimentary simple snack lunch on the way.  On arrival you will be dropped at you hotel or airport.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A deposit of 50% of total safari cost is required at the time of booking for firm confirmation and the

balance to be paid at least 2 weeks to the travel date.

Safari cancellation policy

In the event alteration, amendment or cancellation on a booking, penalties will applies as below:

30- 60 days prior to commencement of trip: 80% refund of the total price

30 – 15 days prior to commencement of trip: 50% refund of the total price

15 – 7 days prior to commencement of trip: 30 % refund of the total price

Less than 7 days and no show: Between 5% and 15% of the total price depending with the refund

we get on the park fees.

Safari price

Included are all expenses in respect of safari vehicle and driver guide as per itinerary, meals while

on Safari, entrance fees to National parks and game reserves, Our assistance at any point.

Safari transport

Minivan safari vehicles, and 4 x 4 land cruiser jeep with pop up roof will be provided depending on

the tour program/itinerary and number of tour participants.

Safari accommodation

Based on two persons sharing in a twin room/tent. Single rooms are provided at an additional cost

(single room supplement). Hotel /lodges / tented camps are named as an indication of category and

accommodation may be reserved at same standard hotels/lodges /tented camps. In this case, you

shall be notified on your safari accommodation in advance.

Alteration to tours

The company reserves the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour

should conditions necessitate.

It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at

anytime, in which case an equitable amount will be refunded.

Price are based on tariffs and other operational costs prevailing at the time of printing.

Liability

The company and its agents act only as agents of the tours, transport, etc. and shall not be liable for

injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner.

The company liability to passengers carried in its own vehicle is governed by the laws of the country

in which the tour takes place and no other country.

All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the actions arises.

The company reserves the right to employ subcontractors for all or part of the services.

The company shall not be held responsible for any loss or damages to luggage.

Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. A overnight at the Masai village can be organised upon request.

A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can can be organised early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program.
