Starting from the Isar metropolis of Munich, this cycle tour leads across the Alps and through the countries of Germany and Austria. On the routes of the Inn and Isar cycle paths as well as the friendship bike path Munich - Venice, the tour leads to Bad Tölz and along the river Isar to Lake Walchensee. Continue via Achenkirch to the idyllic Achensee and from there down to Jenbach via the Inn Valley to Kufstein. Cyclists reach Kitzbühel via the Brixen Valley.

Day 1

Individual arrival to Munich

Individual arrival to the starting hotel in Munich. If you arrive early, use the time to explore the capital of the Free State of Bavaria.
You start your cycle tour in the state capital of Munich along the Isar. You cycle past Hellabrunn Zoo, Grünwald Forest, Schäftlarn Monastery to Wolfratshausen and Geretsried. Through the Isar floodplains you reach today's stage destination Bad Tölz.
From Bad Tölz, you cycle along the Munich-Venice Friendship Cycle Path along the Isar to the Bavarian Caribbean, Lake Walchensee. After a breathtaking view, you cycle on to Achenkirch. You cycle along the Achensee to Maurach, where you will spend the night.
Today the stage takes you through the Inn Valley from Maurach or Jenbach to the fortress town of Kufstein. The River Inn is your faithful companion as it takes you past Brixlegg and Wörgl.
Today the stage takes you through the Brixental valley from Kufstein to Hopfgarten im Brixental, always with the imposing mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps in view.
Today it's time to say goodbye, or extend your stay in Kitzbühel!
