Upon your arrival in Ouarzazate, you will be welcomed before starting your adventure through the Draa valley to M'hamid, the Sahara gate.
Every day holds a new discovery: from the desert plateaus of Oum Laachar to the majestic dunes of Chigaga and the refreshing oases of Bouguern. You may have the opportunity to meet nomads and share their fascinating way of life.
Walking to the quiet rhythm of camels, sunsets over the dunes and nights under a starry sky are unforgettable moments that will mark your experience in the desert. After this rewarding adventure, you will return to Ouarzazate via the Hamada du Draa, a stony plateau offering spectacular views.

Day 1
Ouarzazate
Start point
Ouarzazate Airport (OZZ), Ouarzazate, Drâa-Tafilalet 45, Morocco
Day 2
Ouarzazate-Zagora-Oum Laachar
Depart to Zagora through a mineral landscape where you will discover the Draa valley dotted with oases and villages fortified in land (ksour). From Zagora, you will take the track to Oum Laachar to join our team of camel drivers in the desert. Bivouac in Oum Laachar.
Day 3
Oum Laachar - Oued Lamhaser
Departure to the south through the vast desert plateaus and the ragged massifs. Bivouac in Oued Lamhaser
Day 4
Oued Lamhaser - Chigaga
Continuation through the desert to reach the oases of Dayat Chigaga, a green area between the dune massifs after the rainy season. Bivouac at the foot of the dunes of Chigaga.
Day 5
Chigaga - Bouguern
Progression to the heart of the majestic sand dunes. Bivouac in Bouguern (Erg El Mhazil).
Day 6
Bouguern - Oued Naam
Walk through the dunes dotted with tamaris to Oued Naam for the bivouac.
Day 7
Oued Naam – M'hamid - Ouarzazate
Departure from Oued Naam through the Hamada Du Drâa, a vast stony plateau dotted with volcanic stones. Return to M'hamid for lunch and transfer to Ouarzazate via the beautiful Drâa valley.
Day 8
Ouarzazate
Airport transfer and boarding assistance.
