Day 3

London Like A Londoner

After a delightful breakfast, you'll have the day free to explore this incredible city.

For a century and a half, London was the capital of an empire that spanned 40% of the inhabited world, leaving behind a cultural and institutional legacy that serves as a model for modern democracy.

It is an incredibly diverse city, home to people from various cultures and nationalities. This diversity is evident in its food, music, festivals, and daily life. Despite being a bustling metropolis, London boasts beautiful parks such as Hyde Park, Regent's Park, and Greenwich Park, providing a peaceful escape from urban life.

It is a multicultural city with a wide range of ethnic communities and a vibrant cultural scene. From theaters in the West End to a diverse gastronomic offering and an influential music scene, London is known for its cultural diversity.

It houses some of the world's most famous museums, such as the British Museum, the National Gallery, and the Tate Modern. These museums exhibit a wide range of art, from antiquities to modern and contemporary art.

Moreover, the city is marked by its impressive architecture, blending historic buildings with modern iconic structures such as the London Eye, the Shard, and the Gherkin.

Each area of London has its own personality and charm, making exploration an exciting and diverse experience.

It's a city that has something for everyone, and as Dr. Samuel Johnson said in the 1700s: "He who is tired of London is tired of life." This is perhaps even more valid today than it was back then.

Tip: Don't miss the opportunity to attend a play, especially a musical.

Day 4

From London to York by train

After a hearty breakfast, and at the designated time, you will make your way to King's Cross train station to catch the train bound for York.

If you go with time you can stop by to take a photo on platform 9 and 3|4 of Harry Potter film or buy a souvenir in their wonderful store.

York is a city steeped in history and charm, boasting a wide variety of attractions and activities for visitors. Whether you're interested in history, culture, architecture, or simply enjoying the city's unique atmosphere, York has much to offer.

Tip: Be sure to taste the local cuisine at York's pubs and restaurants. "Yorkshire puddings" and "roast dinner," two classic British dishes, are emblematic of the city.

Day 5

York At Your Own Pace

After breakfast, you will have the day free to explore the city at your own pace.

You can start by visiting the impressive York Minster, an iconic Gothic cathedral. Take your time to explore its interior and climb the tower for panoramic views of the city.

Continue with a stroll through the historic streets of York, such as Shambles, a medieval street with timber-framed houses and charming shops.

A visit to the Jorvik Viking Centre Museum to learn about York's Viking history is an excellent option for the afternoon.

Finally, the city walls will provide you with panoramic views as well as an insight into York's history.

Tip: York has a history of chocolate-making that dates back to the 18th century. Some well-known chocolate brands, such as Rowntree's and Terry's, originated in York. In fact, the world-famous chocolate bar Kit Kat was first produced by Rowntree's in York in the late 1930s.
