5 Days Zanzibar Tour

After your arrival at the Zanzibar Airport or Seaport, our Taste Of Afrika Safaris will pick you up and take you to either the Amaan Bungalows Hotel or one of the similar beach hotels in Zanzibar Tanzania. Here, you shall check-in for four nights on a bed-and-breakfast basis.

The Tour shall start at 8:00 am – it will depart from Nungwi at 8:30 am and return at around 3:00 pm. The facilities that will be provided include snorkeling equipment, entrance fees, light lunch, fruits, and water.

A brief introduction to/About Mnemba Island – This is a private and secluded island off the shores of Zanzibar and has only one lodge. Although it is great for snorkeling, there is a high demand for this place among honeymooners and romantic couples. The credit for that goes to the complete seclusion that it provides along with great amenities.

The group shall proceed to commence the day tour to Spice farms at 8:00 am after breakfast. This day is an amazing opportunity to see the spices that Zanzibar is famous for.

You will learn how a vast variety of spices like Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Nutmeg, Turmeric root, and many more spices are cultivated. You will also discover different spices and see plants like the Hyena Bush, Lipstick tree, the aromatic Lemongrass, Langi Langi and how they actually grow.

Apart from spices, you can also see various tropical fruit plantations such as Jackfruit, Custard, Shoki Shoki, Rambutan, Star fruit and others depending on the season.

About Spice Tour – If you have always wanted to know more about the variety and the origins of the world-renowned Zanzibar spices, don’t miss it! This excursion is a walking tour through a spice plantation just outside of Stone Town. It will fill all your senses as you get to smell, touch, taste and feel the spices in your surroundings!

You get this day all to yourself. Just relax on the beach or the swimming pool and rest to your heart’s content. The vibrant beaches of Zanzibar offer plenty of sunshine and peace to bask in this heavenly place.

Settle down on a lawn chair and watch the cool, blue waters of the Indian Ocean and the white dhow sails lazily roam around.
