Day 1

Arrival in Islamabad

Upon arrival at Islamabad Airport, guests are warmly welcomed and transferred to the 5 Star Marriott hotel. The evening is dedicated to relaxation, and preparing for the journey ahead, with a comfortable overnight stay in the heart of Islamabad.

Day 2

Scenic Flight to Skardu and Drive to Gulmit, Hunza

After an early breakfast, guests transfer to the airport for a breathtaking flight over the Himalayas to Skardu. Upon arrival, the group embarks on a scenic drive to Hunza, stopping at iconic viewpoints along the way, including the majestic Nanga Parbat Viewpoint and Rakaposhi Viewpoint. The evening unfolds in the serene beauty of Hunza, where you will settle into your hotel at  Serena Hotel Karimabad Hunza.

Day 3

Trek to Passugar

The adventure begins with breakfast, followed by a trek to Passugar through the picturesque landscapes of Ghulkin and Borith Lake. Porters carry luggage, allowing guests to enjoy the hike over scenic foothills and past the impressive Passu Glacier. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a cozy camp. Fresh meals will be provided. 


Day 4

Trek to Luzdhur and Goz Dun

Today’s journey takes trekkers across the stunning and technical Passu Glacier, a highlight of the adventure. After crossing, have light refreshment on the other side and ascend the trail to Patundas, reaching a breathtaking altitude of 4,100 meters. The climb is demanding yet rewarding, as it leads to panoramic views of the moraine. After setting up camp, there’s time to explore the surroundings before resting for the night.

Day 5

Trek to Yrch, Base Camp and Back to the Meadows

After Breakfast enjoy views of Passu Glacier, Batura Glacier, Passu Peak, Shishpar Peak and many other 7000m peaks. Continue trek to yorch and Passu Peak Base Camp. After Lunch return back to the Meadows for Dinner and night stay. 

Day 6

Trek to Borith and Drive to Gulmit

Descending from the heights of Patundas, the group treks back toward Borith Lake, where the journey continues by car to Gulmit. The evening offers a comfortable rest in Moksha Resort Gulmit, surrounded by the beauty of Hunza.

Day 7

Cultural Exploration of Hunza

The day begins with a tour of Gulmit, visiting the Old House and Ondra Pygah before embarking on a trek to Ghulkin. Highlights include the thrilling Hussaini Suspension Bridge and scenic Passu. The day’s exploration concludes with a return to the accommodation for a restful night.


Day 8

Discover Hunza’s Heritage and Drive to Skardu

After breakfast, the group explores the treasures of Central Hunza, including the historic Altit Fort, Duikar, and the captivating Baltit Fort. A scenic drive follows, with a stop at Rakaposhi Viewpoint en route to Gilgit.

After lunch at Gilgit you will leave for Skardu and reach Skardu by the evening.  Upon arrival, guests are transferred to their accommodation for the evening. You will stay at the  Serena Hotel in Shigar.

Day 9

Explore Skardu and Shigar Valley

After breakfast, the day is filled with visits to the  the mesmerizing Sarfaranga Desert, and the historical Karpuchu Fort and Manatal Buddah. After Lunch you will visit the crystal-clear Kachura Lakes. After Dinner at the famous Rafsal you will head to your premium accommodation at Shangrila Resort or Byarsa.

Day 10

Skardu to Islamabad

Following breakfast, guests transfer to Skardu Airport for a return flight to Islamabad. The day continues with a city tour of Islamabad, culminating in a farewell dinner to celebrate the journey. A final night of relaxation awaits before departure.


Day 11

Farewell and Departure

After breakfast, guests check out and are transferred to Islamabad Airport for their onward flight home, taking with them memories of the stunning Hunza and Skardu landscapes and the warm hospitality of Pakistan.

Booking and Payment:

To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required.

Full payment must be received 30 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation and Refunds:

Cancellations made 30 days prior to the tour departure date will receive an 75% refund (lost of deposit).

Cancellations made within 29 days of the tour departure date will not be eligible for a refund.

It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any other necessary travel documents.

Gypsy Traces & Tours is not responsible for any issues arising from missing or invalid travel documents.

Gypsy Traces & Tours reserves the right to change or cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient bookings.

In such cases, alternative tours or a full refund will be offered to affected travelers.

Travel insurance is recommended to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage.
