Day 2

Casablanca to Fes via Rabat, Mekens and Volubilis

Let's start breakfast at the hotel and then drive towards Rabat, the capital of Morocco among other country's imperial cities. These will take you to the most popular city attractions. Oudaya, it is the oldest medina, Shalla, and Hassan tower.

Next of your 8-Day Tour From Casablanca, we will drive to Volubilis, it takes about 2hrs20mins , since it is 76 km far from Rabat. I believe that the visit to the ruins of Volubilis city (UNESCO world heritage) founded in the 40s BC will bring a lot of benefits. – First of all, it is the perfect monument among the glorious remains of Roman era in North Africa. The ruins are, in fact, very large in scale, and border with beautifully green fields. It has a spectacular Grand Palace which is decorated with marble columns, baths with mosaics, and various palaces that depict beautiful scenes of the ancient time.

Then, Intellectually, we will proceed to the city of Meknes which is one of the imperial cities. This is will be a short tour in the city, there will be time to relax and have a lunch break, then we after that we will set to Fez for an overnight.

Day 3

fes guided tour

The first destination is capital cultural and religious of the Kingdom, we will do walking tour to capture the historical moments. You will be engulfed in the mystical ambiance of an old oriental medina filed with the streets that bend and are narrow. You will follow the routes passing through the numerous historical and architectural structures belonging to the merineid and alaouite dynasties that ruled Morocco when this city used to be the capital of this kingdom.

They (monuments) are often favoured because they are the best models of Moorish architectural style. You will have the opportunity to see the Bue Inanya mosque at close range, wonder at the universities of manuscripts makers, Nejatir square, and the beautifully designed fountain. Therefore, you will realize how the climax of the story is set in the handicraft shops, where leather and pottery masters work in accordance with the technology inherited from their grandfathers and great-grandfathers; the secrets about which are carefully transferred from one generation to another. We will continue next to the Jewish quarter situated in the modern times. It depicts their cohabitation, the affectionate attitude of the two communities, Muslims and Jews, towards each other.

Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Erfoud – Desert

For this day of our 8-Day Tour From Casablanca, around noontime, you set off for the desert. After a breakfast meal, we pack, and we head to Merzouga, which is approximately seven hours away, and you will get an opportunity to enjoy the sceneries for the time you are on a road trip. The route also includes a stop at Ifrane, often called "Moroccan Switzerland" for its European style, Parks that have lakes and chalets, a ski resort, and abundant snow in winter, that is, at that time of the year town is covered in snow and giving people the impression that they are in Switzerland. Beside Ifrane, we will get a phenomenal spectacle of the indigenous Atlas Cedars and have a miraculous feeding session with the free monkeys while on our way to Azrou. The monkeys are warm heartsed, they are happy as we make them laugh by being around them.Lunch stop in Midelt. And lastly, we will embark on the beginning section which is located in the valley and gorge of the Ziz river. As we get closer to the city of Er-Rashidiya, the landscape turns into a desert one. Upon arrival, will be accompanied on camel rides to the camp in the desert and will be provided with a room or tent that meets a reasonable standard, does pave way for individual showers and toilets. During the night, we are going to have a Moroccon dinner party round the bonfire, drum around the fire, and sing songs in the scorching night with the help of Berrbers. Also, the clear sky offers a scenic appearance for the stars.Overnight in the camp.

For the afternoon, we will come back to the village of Merzouga after having breakfast and proceed our trip to the Dades. First we will drive by Rissani, which is home to “The fossil factory”, and this is a good place to see the many fossils made by the region.

After about 3 hours on the road, we'll stop for a beautiful photo near the lovely town of Tinghir, surrounded by lush palm trees.
