Itinerary

Trekking towards the Everest base camp fulfills the desire of any true adventure traveler and passionate trekkers. If you love traveling then this is the must-visit place for you. It is the base camp of Mt. Everest – the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest after all. Trekking through the Sherpa villages, and rhododendron forests surrounded by stunning mountain views; you will feel like you have entered a whole new world.

Everest Base Camp Trek is the best adventure trekking route in the world. Our trekking trail begins after boarding a short flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Then we will walk for approximately five to six hours crossing Phakding village to reach Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is popularized as the hub for the trekkers, climbers, and mountaineers. It is the communication center, and also the market where you can buy or hire the necessary trekking, mountaineering gears, and accessories. Our day at the Namche Bazaar would be a rest day for proper acclimatization which is very essential while trekking at the high altitudes. The picturesque monasteries, waving flags with carved mantras on stones and mani walls reflects the ancient local culture, tradition, and lifestyle similar to Tibetan Buddhism. You will get the spiritual vibes as soon as you enter the monasteries and listen to the gong and monks chanting “Om mani Padme om” mantra. Moving ahead we cross several villages like Gorakshep and arrive at Kala Patthar. Kala Patthar is the ace viewpoint on Everest region that displays the panoramic views of towering Himalayan ranges like Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, Lobuche and Mt. Nuptse etc. without any obstruction. After capturing the golden moments in the lap of Mt. Everest we will then return to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.

It is considered as strenuous and difficult trek but if you think you can then you definitely can be the part of BUNA Treks and Expeditions in Everest base camp. Contact us if you have any queries and get ready for your next adventure holiday in Nepal.
