Today, you will have a flight from Zanzibar Airport at 8:00 AM to the Serengeti. Upon your arrival at Seronera Airstrip at 11:00 AM, our guide will pick you up and continue with a game drive. You will stop for lunch at a picnic site inside the park and then proceed with the game drive until the evening. Afterward, you will head to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Serengeti is located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometers. It has over 2 million herbivores, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species. This area is with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.
