Day 1

Welcome to Egypt

Arrival Cairo:

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around the Clock) Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from Cairo International Airport by the exit dooar, holding a sign "Ancient Egypt Tours". will meet & greet you and then he will escort you to the hotel by private air-conditioned vehicle. At hotel the tour reception manager will assist with a smooth check-in and your expert guide will contact you to review your holiday itinerary to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

Day 2

Pyramids / Museum

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then met your personal guide who will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world  The great  Pyramid of Khufu’s (Cheops),3 small pyramids You will continue to explore the rest of Giza plateau including the sight of Khafre’s (kaphren) pyramid - Khufu's son, the second-largest pyramid on Giza site,, the remains of the funeral temple, the pyramid of Mankawra( Mykerinus) and 3 small pyramids. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramids of chefren This temple served definitely two functions: First, it was used for the purification of the mummy of the king before its burial. Second, it was used for making the Mummification process of the king. After visiting the pyramids, you'll then continue across the plateau for a photo opportunity of the three pyramids rising from the sands, with the Cairo skyline in the background. Proceed to have your lunch at local restaurant

Then Move to visit The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum, in Cairo, Egypt, is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities, and dates back some 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, with a representative amount on display, the remainder in storerooms, The Egyptian Museum which is filled with thousands of Pharaonic artifacts, including the golden treasures of King Tutankhamen. Fascinating objects such as jewels, headdresses, alabaster vases and toys from ancient Egypt are all on display, and many priceless statues and other artifacts can also be seen which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1922s when his tomb was excavated, The Egyptian Museum is one of the first stops on most people’s itineraries when travelling to Egypt. This distinctive museum that houses a vast store of priceless objects, from earlier time to the Greco Roman period is worth seeing. Back to hotel

Day 3

Citadel - Sultan Hassan Mosque - Al-Rifai Mosque - Al-Muizz Street

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted by your private guide to visit to Citadel of Salah El-Din, where you will see the view of all Cairo, as you will visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which is considered the largest to be built in the beginning of the 19th century the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Egypt over 45 years & it is built in Baruk style.


Than move to The Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan is regarded as the finest piece of early-Mamluk architecture era in Cairo, an age of architectural splendour. Story has it that the construction of this complex was a tedious and tragic process. In fact, it was built between 1356 and 1363 by the Sultan Hassan who was murdered shortly before the mosque was completed. Sultan Hassan’s madrassa-mosque was built out of huge blocks of stone. Only a glimpse of the splendour you’ll gaze at inside.


Al-Rifai Mosque (Masjid Al-Rifa’i)

Opposite the 14th-century Sultan Hassan Mosque, the Al-Rifai Mosque (Masjid Al-Rifa’i) is similarly grand. The mosque, built between 1869 and 1912, has a towering minaret and four decorated facades capped with an ornate dome. One of Cairo’s largest mosques, it houses the tombs of many members of the Egyptian royal family, including King Farouk.


Before extending your trip, you will be served with a warm delightful lunch meal at a high-quality restaurant.

Al-Muizz Al-Deen Allah Street


Than Move to visit not just Mosques but places, Streets and neighbourhoods Islamic Cairo day tour will start by one of the oldest streets in Egypt which are El Moez Le Din Allah Street is an eloquent witness for historical Cairo with the various monuments spread along both sides of the street Located Such as Bab El Fetouh and Bab El Nasr, then move towards the northern side of the city, in El Darb El Asfar, the most Ancient quarter of Islamic Cairo monuments where you visit Barqouq mosque & School in Nahassen, El Aqmar Mosque, the Mosque of El Saleh Tale, The Blue Mosque, the Dome, Hospital & School of Qalawoon etc… Also, you will be able to visit Bayt El Sehaymi is 350 years old.


If there is enough time, you will take a walk in Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the most Historically famous and oldest Market in the Middle East. Later, you will be transferred to hotel.

Day 4

Sakkara / Memphis / Dahshur

Breakfast at hotel, our tour guide will pickup you from your hotel to start your day tour with the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser, the museum of I mhotep, the tomb of a high official, the pyramid of king titi, the pyramid of king unas

After that transfer to Memphis, which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, The city reached a peak of prestige under the 6th dynasty as a centre for the worship of Ptah, the god of creation and artworks. The alabaster sphinx that guards the Temple of Ptah serves as a memorial of the city’s former power and prestige. The Memphis triad, consisting of the creator god Ptah, his consort Sekhmet, and their son Nefertem, formed the main focus of worship in the city. Memphis declined briefly after the 18th dynasty with the rise of Thebes and the New Kingdom, and was revived under the Persians before falling firmly into second place following the foundation of Alexandria and see the Statue of RamsesII-16 meters high, the alabasrar sphinx

You will continue to explore Then transfer to the south and visit the Red Pyramid and Bent pyramid at Dahshur, Dahshuris a famous royal necropoils in Egypt holds many famous Pyramids includes the red and bent Pyraimds of king snefru. Day 5

Aswan Sightseeing Tour

Breakfast on the train, Arrival, meet & assist by our representatives and transfer to the Cruise. Boarding before lunch, visit the world famous High Dam, An engineering miracle was constructed between 1960 and 1970. It aimed to increase economic production by further regulating the annual river flooding and providing storage of water for agriculture, and later, to generate hydroelectricity. The dam has had a significant impact on the economy and culture of Egypt, and then move to the Unfinished Obelisk, This obelisk is believed to belong to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th dynasty and the royal wife of king Tuthmosis II. The unfinished obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan, Egypt. It is unknown which pharaoh created this structure. It is nearly one third larger than any ancient Egyptian obelisk ever erected. If finished it would have measured around 42 m and would have weighed nearly 1,200 tons. Then move to the beautiful located Philae temple Sail by felucca (Egyptian sailboat) to the island of Agilkia, Visit the temple that was removed from their original island of Philae which lies submerged most of the year by the waters of Lake Nasser. The main Temple of Isis and its monuments were built between the 26th-dynasty and the Roman period. you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 6

Aswan - Abu Simbel Temples

Enjoy your Abu Simbel Day Trip from Aswan. Our Ancient Egypt Tours Representative will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan by a PRIVATE air-conditioned vehicle. It is about 03 hours and half, one way driving from Aswan to Abu Simbel. You will enjoy Abu Simbel area with its main attraction “the great sun temple of Ramses II” and the temple of queen Nefertari. Both temples were discovered in 1813 it was almost completely covered with sand. Then both temples were moved in 1960 by the help of Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. Ramses II built the temple mostly to honour himself as inside there is a mural depicting his famous victory at Kadesh battle where his army defeated his enemies. On the north of Ramses temple, the Nefertari Temple which was built by Ramses II to his favorite wife Queen Nefertari among other 200 wives and concubines.

Day 7

Luxor Sightseeing Tour

After having your breakfast at your hotel, our representative will transfer you to Aswan train station for your train to Luxor, arrival to Luxor. Our Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor by air-conditioned modern vehicle to visit with your Egyptologist tour guide, discover the ancient sites. First, the famous Karnak Temple the largest place of worship that was ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means “the most sacred of places.” The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built more than two thousand years ago by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, the great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars.


Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor.


Then move to Luxor Temple. It was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. Enjoy visiting the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. Day 8

Luxor / Sleeping Train

After breakfast, Our Ancient Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor by air-conditioned modern vehicle to visit with your Egyptologist tour guide, starting with a visiting the West Bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and then you will visit the Valley of the Kings, where lies the most magnificent tombs. Those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs, you will visit 3 tombs.

Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor.


Later on, you will visit Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple at Deir El Bahary, this impressive temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh rises out of the desert plain in a series of elevated terraces. Then you will have the chance to enjoy some Free time at leisure in Luxor for shopping in the evening, you. Transfer to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner on the train.

Cancellation

Cancellation initiated by the operator:

Ancient Egypt Tours may cancel a tour at any time prior to departure, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events that prevents us to operate the planned itinerary and may cause any threat to the traveler.

If we cancel your tour, you can either choose another departure date or alternatively receive a full refund.

We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights as an example

Cancellation Initiated by the traveler:

If you cancel your booking, cancellation fees will be applied. A cancellation is only possible in written form.

The tour operator advises all customers to purchase travel insurance in case of unexpected travel interruption of illness. To confirm a booking, a deposit of 30% of the total tour price is to be paid by the customer.

If a reservation has to be canceled, customers will be charged a fee depending on how far from the departure date the cancellation takes place. To cancel, a customer needs to notify the tour operator in writing of such.

• No shows forfeit entire payment.

• Cancellation made more than 30 days prior to arrival: 30% of the total tour price (deposit).

• Cancellation made between 08 and 30 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total tour price.

• Cancellation made between 04 and 07 days prior to arrival: 75% of the total tour price.

• Cancellation made between 00 and 03 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total tour price

Flexibility

The itinerary provided for each tour is representative of the types of activities contemplated but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.

Change of Itinerary

While we endeavor to operate all tours as described, we reserve the right to change the tour itinerary.

Before departure: If we make a major change we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible, if there is time to do so before departure. The definition of a major change is deemed to be a change affecting at least one day in five of the itinerary. When a major change is made you may choose between accepting the change, obtaining a refund of money paid on the land portion of the trip only or accepting an alternative tour offered.

After departure: We reserve the right to change an itinerary after departure due to local circumstances or events outside of our control. In such emergency circumstances the additional cost of any necessary itinerary alterations will be covered by you.

Please note we are not responsible for any incidental expenses that may be incurred as a result of the change of itinerary such as visas, vaccinations or non-refundable flights.

Amendments (Change of Departure Date)

Amendments less than 14 days beore departure date are not possible. Our Terms & Condition, Cancellation Policy applies. 

Amendments made between 6 months and 2 weeks before departure: No amendment fees apply. You can change your departure date within this time window free of charge.

Amendments made more than 6 months up to 1 year before departure: A 10% amendment fee / 10% of the tour price will be charged for changing your departure date.

Amendments made more than 1 year before departure: You will be charged a 10% amendment fee, and any increase in the cost of services for the new tour date.

Optional activities are not included in the tour price and are not part of our contract.

You accept that any assistance given by your guide in arranging optional activities does not render us liable for them in any way. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between you and the activity provider unless specified by us.
