Visit Cataract Gorge, an oasis of wilderness on the South Esk River amid the urban sprawl of Launceston. Ride the chairlift to take in its beautiful scenic views and marvel at just how close this slice of rugged nature is to the city centre.

Visit Hellyers Road Distillery for the Whisky Walk Tour, which takes you behind the scenes to discover how whisky is distilled and matured in Tasmania.
Learn all about that most famous Tassie local, the Tasmanian Devil, during a visit to the Devils@Cradle Wildlife Park. Take in the pristine alpine vistas of Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, where you’ll enjoy your overnight stay.
Keep your fingers crossed for clear skies to treat you to magnificent views of Cradle Mountain and breathtaking reflections on Dove Lake.
