Day 2
Transfer to Lower Zambezi National Park
After breakfast we drive through Lusaka and down the escarpment to the Zambezi valley. A visit to the Lower Zambezi Park is one of the highlights in Zambia.
The Zambezi River on the one side and the Escarpment on the other form the backdrop of our game viewing. We do game drives in the Park and boating along the river shore to watch the animals come to drink. On one of these days, we will do a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi.
We stay overnight in spacious safari tents at Kasaka Lodge or similar on the banks of the Zambezi River (3x FB)

Transfer to Kafue NP
Today we drive up the escarpment and back to Lusaka, where we do some shopping for the next days in the bush. In the afternoon we carry on to Kafue National Park, where we stay in safari tents at Mawimbi Bush Camp. on the bank of the Kafue River. (FB)

Day 7
Kafue National Park - Busanga Plains
Transfer in north-western direction to Busanga Plains This area can only be visited in a very limited time of the year. You will spend 2 days in this remote wilderness to explore the area on game drives Overnight in Kasonso Camp (2x FB).

Overnight at Kasonso Camp

Lusaka
We leave the park and carry on to Lusaka, where we will spend the afternoon at the lodge or do some shopping in the capital. Overnight in chalets at Wilddog Lodge or similar. Dinner in the restaurant. (B/L/-).
