Day 1

Dion- Mount Olympus

The tour begins with a drive to Dion, an ancient city with significant archaeological ruins at the foot of Mount Olympus, the mythical home of the Greek gods. Enjoy a guided tour of the ruins and museum, where the rich history of Dion comes to life through statues, mosaics, and artifacts from Ancient Macedonia. Afterward, continue towards Mount Olympus, Greece’s highest mountain, known for its majestic peaks and deep gorges.

Here, enjoy a scenic walk and experience the beauty of this UNESCO-listed natural park. The day concludes with a transfer to Kalampaka, the picturesque town nestled at the base of the awe-inspiring Meteora rock formations. Dinner and overnight in Kalampaka.

Day 2

Meteora tour- Metsovo

After breakfast, the day starts with a tour of the world-famous Meteora Monasteries, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched atop towering rock pillars, these Byzantine monasteries were built by monks seeking spiritual solitude and protection from invasions. You will visit two of these monasteries, marveling at the incredible views and learning about the monastic lifestyle that continues to this day. Next, head towards Metsovo, a charming mountainous village known for its traditional architecture, vibrant culture, and delicious local products. After exploring the cobbled streets and perhaps sampling some local cheese and wine, continue to the lakeside town of Ioannina, the capital of Epirus.known for its historic old town, the lake of Pamvotis, and the Ioannina Castle, one of the oldest in Greece. Explore the island of the lake, where Ali Pasha, the Ottoman ruler, once lived, and visit the Byzantine Museum.Enjoy dinner at a local taverna and

spend the night in Ioannina.

Day 3

Ioannina tour- Vergina

Begin the day with a tour of the ancient site of Dodoni, one of Greece’s oldest and most important oracles, dedicated to Zeus. Explore the well-preserved theater and the sacred oak tree, which played a central role in the oracles' rituals. Next, head to Vergina, home to the UNESCO-listed Royal Tombs of Aigai. Here, you will visit the tomb of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great, and marvel at the incredible artifacts and treasures discovered within this ancient burial site. Continue to the historic city of Veroia, known for its Byzantine churches and vibrant history. Enjoy a leisurely walk through its old neighborhoods and visit the Apostle Paul's altar, a site commemorating his preaching in the city. Afterward, return to your accommodation, reflecting on the day's exploration of Greece's ancient and historical landmarks.

Day 4

Naousa- Pella - Thessaloniki

On this day we will visit Naousa, a town famous for its wine and orchards, will visit the nearby Mieza and the School of Aristotle, where Alexander the Great and other Macedonian nobles were educated. Continue to Pella, the ancient capital of Macedonia and the birthplace of Alexander the Great. Here, explore the archaeological site and museum, which features remarkable mosaics, pottery, and statues from the Hellenistic

period. Afterward, return to Thessaloniki. Discover the rich history of the city with visits to iconic landmarks such as the White Tower, Aristotelous Square, the Arch of Galerius, and the Rotunda. The panoramic tour will also take you through the city’s Byzantine Walls and Upper Town, offering panoramic views of Thessaloniki. End of Tour
