Itinerary

Suppose you want to experience the Himalayan Hub adventure. In that case, the Everest View Trek is one of your best destinations. We will start this amazing Everest View Trek with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. As we begin our trek from Lukla, we will follow the beautiful Dudh Koshi River (Khumbu) with spectacular mountain views. The famous view Point called Everest View Hotel, situated near Khumjung Village offer, gives us magnificent views of the Himalayas, such as Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and many more. This famous viewpoint is our leading destination to have a great view of the world's highest peak in Nepal. The Everest View Trek, also known as the Everest Panorama Trek,  is for those who need more time to reach the Everest Base Camp but are eager to explore the mountain Everest, "The Roof of the World, as closely. Besides the mountain's views, this short trek also allows us to get involved with the fascinating Sherpa culture of the Khumbu region and encounter the wide-ranging flora and fauna of the Himalayas in Sagarmatha National Park. On the way to Everest View Point, we will also get to experience the lush valleys, extraordinary views of the rivers, hikes over the beautiful suspension bridge, and dense pine and Rhododendron forest.  

The journey begins at the Kathmandu airport with a scenic flight towards Lukla and then a trek to Phakding. It would be best if you trekked through a different place, such as Phakding, and then to Namche Bazar following the route of Khumjung. Then, you need to go towards Tyanbiche Monastery, the home of the highest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region, which leads you towards the Khumbu Village, where most of the Sherpa people are residents. In the Khumbu region, you will explore the most scenic beauty of the Everest region, the Sherpa People, their traditional lifestyle, Buddhist Monasteries, Rare yaks, and Hilary School. You can also have the best experience in the way of the Everest View Trek. After exploration, you will return to your destination. You need to trek towards the Tyangboche,  Jhorsale, and Lukla, and finally take the flight towards Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. The next day, you can make your final departure towards your destination.

Tour program

Day 1

Kathmandu (1350m) Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport.

As you arrive at Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International airport, our representative will greet you and drops you at your hotel. After the hotel checkout, you can do some rest and relax in the hotel. If you want to make the place familiar then you can stroll around the Thamel Bazaar in the evening. You can also enjoy the welcoming dinner with our whole team and stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 2

Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m) and then to Phakding (2640m.)

Today, we will have a morning breakfast and take an air-flight to Lukla (2886m.), the gateway town to the Everest Trek. Around 45 minutes flight offers us magnificent views of the white and green mountains and various settlements. As we reach to Lukla, after short rest, we will begin our trek towards Pakhding, at the altitude of 2610m. You will trek downhill around four hours by following the very beautiful Dudh Koshi River and reach to the small village called Phakding. On the way to Phakding, you can enjoy the majestic view of Nupla. Stay overnight at Phakdhing.

Day 3

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m.)

In this day, we will have an early breakfast and we will continue our pleasing trek mostly uphill to Namche Bazaar by following the right bank of Dudh Koshi and crossing the several teahouses on the way. We will also cross several suspension bridges, Bengar, the forest and the Chumoa with the stunning views of the Himalayas. Today’s trail will be several ups and downs and cross the Monjo village and also cross the Sagarmatha National Park with the excellent views of Everest (8848m) and Lhotse (8516m.). As you reach the Namche Bazaar, you can interact with the Sherpa People and get involved with their unique culture and traditions. Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 4

Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

Today is the day for rest and stroll around and explore the mysterious mountain market. You can make the short hike to the top of the Namche and visit the Sherpa Museum and enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayas such as; the Everest, Ama Dablam, Kantega, Thamserku, Tawoche and any other peaks. You will also hike up to Syangboche Airport where you can witness Everest view Hotel and see rewarding views of the Himalayas, Khumbu Peaks with spectacular sunrise and sunset views.  After exploration, you will descend down and stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Day 5

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

In this day, we will have a morning breakfast at Namche Bazaar and continue trek onwards to Tyangboche, situated at elevations of 3860m. During your trail, you can explore the famous Tengboche Gompa . The Tengboche Gompa also offers us a glimpse of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, and other stunning peaks. You will stay overnight at Tyangboche.

Day 6

Tengboche to Monjo (2830m.)

Next morning, after having breakfast we will leave the beautiful village Tengboche and heads towards Monjo situated at the summit of 2830m. On the way to Monjo, we can witness several lodges along the main street, and several porters hanging villages. We will stay overnight at Monjo.

Day 7

Monjo to Lukla (2840m.)

Today is the last day of our trek. After having morning breakfast, we will go through several ups and downs along the trail. We will trek along the two rivers- the Bhote Koshi from the west and Dudh Koshi from the east. We will cross the Dudh Koshi and follow the way to Lukla. Overnight stay at Lukla.

Day 8

Lukla to Kathmandu

The next day, early in the morning, you will head towards Kathmandu through the flight. Around 35 minute’s flights provide you a panoramic view of the Himalayan range and Mt. Everest for the last time. After you reached the Kathmandu airport, you will be taken back to the hotel for the rest and recall all the memories which you were captured in your cameras. Overnight you will stay in the same hotel.

Term and Conditions

Frolic Adventure requests you to read the terms and conditions at the time of any trip booking. After going through our terms and conditions, be sure that you are ok by the contract between you and Frolic Adventure. Changes in Bookings

You can change your booking trip to the trip anywhere inside Nepal. We are always dedicated to lead you on your interesting and targeted destinations. It depends on your physical fitness, time and interest. You will be responsible for the additional costs of the trip.

Cancellation and Refund

The following conditions apply for the trip cancellation and refund:

If you do not want to do a trip for the time you booked, 20% of the deposit amount will not be refunded. But you can add that money if you want to do next trip.

if you cancel the trip before 30 days of your trip date, 20% of the trip cost will be deducted

if you cancel the trip 4 weeks before the departure date- 45%

if you cancel the trip 2 weeks before the departure date- 75%

if you cancel the trip 1 week or less before the departure date- 100%

Notes:

The system to cancel the trip to Tibet and Bhutan is different. Please, contact us for the detailed information.

You can postpone your trip without cancellation charge till next year but you should inform us before 3 weeks of departure via mail. If the rate becomes expensive at the time you want to do the trip, you need to cover up the increased price.

If the trips you book through the other agent at your place, they refund you according to their company rules and regulations. So, you better to contact them directly.

Trip cancelled by the company:

If we cancel your trip, your deposit and any other payments will be fully refunded. If any circumstances that will be out of our control, the reasonable expenses we have already paid will be deducted from the deposited amount.

Guides/Porters:

Any trekking/tour/climbing guides and porters belong to the company deserve company’s authority. If you or the company staff showed any illegal things or activities, we are forced to cancel your trip and no refund is made.

Travel Insurance:

The travellers/trekkers must have travel insurance before coming to Nepal that covers accidents, emergency evacuation if you need rescue and so on. For more details, please see our travel insurance page.

Passport/Visa

All of you must have your valid passport with at least 6 months from your valid passport with at least 6 months from your return date and visa can be obtained from Nepalese embassies or consulate in your country or at arrival in Kathmandu airport. Our achievement lies in the excellent services by performing our duty honestly. We are dedicated to making your trips memorable and exciting. But, we are not responsible for the changes in itinerary due to the unavoidable situation that is out of our control like government restriction, soil erosion, flood and avalanches, road blockage, strikes, weather problem, problems from machinery things, your sickness and other various causes. We are not liable for the loss of your belongings, injuries or death due to those naturally occurring unavoidable cases.
