The Peregrine Treks' guide welcomes you to Lukla Airport. From Lukla, trek through the scenic Khumbu Valley, home to the legendary Sherpa people. The first day of trekking leads to Phakding, a small village nestled along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River. The trail passes through lush forests and crosses several suspension bridges.

Trek to Namche
From Phakding, the route ascends to Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital, where you can rest, acclimatize, and explore the local markets. Namche also offers spectacular views of Thamserku and Kongde Ri.
Namche Acclimatization
Spend a day in Namche to acclimatize to the altitude. Explore the local markets and take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Trek to Tengboche
Continue upwards through rhododendrons and pine forests towards Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, one of the largest in the region. The monastery is a spiritual hub for trekkers and monks alike, with a panoramic backdrop of Ama Dablam, Everest, and Lhotse.
Trek to Dingboche
From Tengboche, trek to Dingboche, a quaint village situated at 4,410 meters. Trekkers often take an extra day for acclimatization. Dingboche offers stunning views of the Himalayas, and trekkers can take short hikes to further aid in acclimatizing to the altitude.
Dingboche Acclimatization
Spend a day in Dingboche to acclimatize to the altitude. Take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Trek to Lobuche
The ascent continues as the trek leads to Lobuche, a remote settlement surrounded by towering peaks. As the altitude increases, the landscape becomes more barren, but the sense of adventure grows as trekkers near their goal
Trek to Gorakshep and EBC
The next stop is Gorakshep, the final resting point before reaching Everest Base Camp—Trek from here to the base of the world's tallest mountain, standing at 5,364 meters. Reaching Everest Base Camp is a moment of triumph, with trekkers rewarded by close-up views of the mighty Khumbu Icefall and the surrounding peaks.
Trek to Kala Patthar and back to Pheriche
For those seeking more breathtaking views, a morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 meters) offers the best vantage point of Mount Everest and the surrounding giants of the Himalayas. The sunrise from Kala Patthar is often the highlight of the trek, with golden hues lighting up the peaks in a truly magical spectacle. Trek back to Pheriche for the night.
Trek to Namche
The trek back retraces the route through the villages, allowing trekkers to reflect on their accomplishments and enjoy the beautiful landscapes again.
Trek to Lukla
Continue your trek back to Lukla.

Cancellation Policy
Booking Terms & Conditions
Down Payment / Deposit:
To secure place, 20% down payment is required to make in advance as per the company policy. Rest payment can be paid 30 days prior to departure.
Please contact us if this will cause you a problem; we do try to be flexible
Payment of the Balance:
Rest amount can be paid before a month of your arrival. If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer.
Last Minute Booking:
We accept your last minute booking for ONLY IN CASES OF NEPAL TRIPS, but LAST MINUTE BOOKING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR INDIA, BHUTAN AND TIBET TRIPS).
Refund:
No refund will be made for 20% deposit amount in case of cancellation of trip for any other else reason but we are flexible to postpone your trip in any later days. Having paid full amount of any trip, you will get your money back but still cancellation charge (20%) is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip.
Supplement Charge:
On our holidays tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room /tent with.
Incomplete Tour:
No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
Unforeseen Circumstances:
If Himalayan Social Journey company cancels your trip because of unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable climate etc., we will be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn’t fit your personal interest, all money paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
Clients' Responsible:
A tour / trek guide who represents Himalayan Social Journey Company deserves all authority during your tours.
Travel Insurance:
You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our clients.
Tour Amendment:
To make alterations of any trek / tour itinerary, prior notice is requested. You’re advised to stay in touch with us. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.
Papers & Documents:
All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.
Flight Delay/Cancellation:
There is virtually possibility of flight delay or postponement for notorious weather in Himalayan regions which could be happened, in particular, in Everest region (Lukla), Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc. In such case your itinerary will be modified.
HSJ mission is to finance its community enhancement programs through the revenues generated by tourism. The proceeds from any HSJ organized tour and trek goes 10% directly to uplift educational status of needy children of rural areas of Nepal through Himalayan Community Project.
