Tour program

Day 1

Livingstone, Zambia

Explore the world renowned Victoria Falls, visit the David Livingstone Museum or spend the day visiting with the locals and learn more about their history and culture. For the adventurous there are a multitude of adrenaline activities on offer including white water rafting the Zambezi, bungee jumping and scenic flights over the falls.
Leaving Zambia we cross the famed Victoria Falls bridge and catch a glimpse of the water as it plummets into the Batoka Gorge below. After border formalities, we head into Zimbabwe and drive through the bushveld countryside to the second city, Bulawayo.
Accompanied by local guides we make our way to Matobo National Park. Spot the magnificent Black and White Rhino, the spectacular leopard in their natural habitat and a multitude of Bushman paintings while on your guided tour. The Matobo National Park offers a variety of sights to behold, from historic points of interest like Cecil John Rhodes grave and ancient San rock art sites, to wildlife and birdlife with the rarer species like the Roan and Sable Antelope found here. See if you can spot the black eagles that nest in the high rock outcrops.
Crossing the border into South Africa we make our way through the Limpopo countryside to the Tshipise hot springs resort. Enjoy the hot springs and take the time to relax this evening in one of the many pools available.
Continuing our journey through the South African bushveld, we make our way across the mountains to the northern Drakensburg area and the town of Hazyview. Tonight we enjoy the glimpse into the local culture with the Shangaan Tribal dancing and singing.
Spot the Big 5 at the world renowned Kruger National Park. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife, birdlife, reptiles and much more. We start the day getting acquainted with our resident guides as we board our open 4x4 game viewing vehicles and head into the park. The day is spent in Kruger exploring and seeking out the resident wildlife and in search of the top animals on our list. We return to our Acacia vehicle in the late afternoon regaling stories of our wildlife adventures!
We enjoy our last breakfast with our fellow travellers before making our way to Pretoria and the end of our Southern African adventure.
