- We’ll begin the adventure with a pick-up from your hotel at 5:00 a.m., heading towards the Mollepata Valley. As we ascend, you’ll notice the dramatic change in altitude, revealing breathtaking views of fruit trees, snowy peaks, and diverse flora and fauna. In Mollepata, we’ll enjoy breakfast before continuing to Challacancha, where we’ll take a short rest before starting our trek.
- From Challacancha, we’ll hike to Soraypampa, the base point for our ascent to the stunning Humantay Lake (4,200 masl / 13,779 ft). You’ll marvel at the green-blue waters of the lagoon, surrounded by majestic Andean peaks. After soaking in its beauty and capturing memorable photos, we’ll descend to have lunch in Soraypampa.
- In the afternoon, we’ll continue hiking for approximately 2 hours to reach our camp in Soyroccocha (4,491 masl / 14,730 ft). Here, we’ll enjoy tea time and dinner. At night, the clear Andean sky will reveal dazzling constellations, making for a truly magical experience before resting for the night.

- The second day begins early with a hearty breakfast as we prepare to tackle the Salkantay Pass (4,638 masl / 15,213 ft), the highest point of our trek. The journey to the pass is a feast for the eyes, with unique landscapes and awe-inspiring views. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be rewarded with the grandeur of the imposing Salkantay Mountain and the surrounding natural beauty.
- After spending time at the pass, we’ll descend back to the camp for a well-deserved lunch. From there, we’ll continue our hike to Soraypampa (3,850 masl / 12,631 ft), where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusco, concluding this unforgettable journey.
