Day 1

Welcome to Ecuador!

Afternoon/Evening

- Arrive in Quito's Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) at anytime after 2:00 pm for included transportation to the hotel.

- Relax and acclimate to the altitude after your international flight and get to know your fellow travelers while relaxing at your hotel.

Day 2

Explore Quito: “The Light of America” & the Middle of the World

Morning

- Enjoy breakfast at our hotel with your new friends.

- Take included transportation into Quito to explore the historic city center.

- Take a guided city tour of Quito, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

- We will explore the city and its Historical Center. Take a walk at San Francisco Square and Church, the Independence Square and the main Cathedral, Presidential Palace, El Sagrario Church and one of the best examples of the baroque movement in South America, the iconic church; La Compañía de Jesus which is covered with the Gold leaf in its interior, the meticulous façade and the perfectly carved wooden door amuses its visitors every time.

Afternoon

- Lunch by your own 

- Next, you will continue the journey at Mitad Del Mundo, or the "Middle of the Earth." This is where Ecuador's namesake, the equator, runs through the country. As such, tour participants will have a chance to stand with a foot in each hemisphere. While here you'll learn about ancient Ecuadorian culture and try to balance the egg on a head of a nail in the Itiñan Museum.

Day 3

Quito - Galápagos Welcome to the Galapagos! Local Ranch - Twin Craters

Welcome to the Galapagos!

-Arrive at Baltra´s airport (Galapagos Islands). 

-We will jump right in with a stop in the highlands of Santa Cruz to visit a local Giant Tortoise reserve.

Afternoon

-Enjoy lunch at a local ranch in the highlands of Santa Cruz.

-Observe these huge, magical creatures in their natural habitat and have the opportunity to explore some nearby lava tunnels while you gain a better appreciation of the natural forces that created these islands.

-After of visit, we will continue to Puerto Ayora-the main town in Santa Cruz island.

Day 4

Tour de Bahía - PM Tortuga Bay

Morning 

- Breakfast 

- Today begins with an excursion in boat, where we will visit many places: 

  • La Loberia, so named for its sea lions colony, it is wonderful place for seeing colorful fish and, of course, playful sea lions. 
  • After Channel of Love, it is a viewpoint ideal for pictures, where its turquoise waters and its geological formations make to seem a natural Jacuzzi accompanied by flora, make this site a romantic place. 
  • Visit to Dogs Beach (Playa de los Perros) so named for being habitat of Galapagos Crab, which can grow until 20 centimeters and we will see many marine iguanas in our path. 
  • Sharks Channel; it is a viewpoint for seeing Galapagos sharks sleeping. 
  • Las Grietas, one of the most beautiful places in Santa Cruz Island. Las Grietas means “the crevasses¨.

Afternoon 

- Head back to town for lunch at a local restaurant.

- Head out for a scenic walk to one of the largest white sand beaches in the Galapagos - Tortuga Bay is a gorgeous beach accessible only by foot. A leisurely 45-minute path, along the way you may spot lava lizards, native birds, and massive marine iguanas.

- Here you’ll have the option to swim, snorkel, kayak, surf, or you can just hang out with your friends and the local marine life.

Day 5

Santa Cruz - Isabela Island: Poza Flamingos – Centro de Tortugas + Tour Tintoreras

Morning 

- After a delicious breakfast in Puerto Ayora, take a scenic public boat ride to Isabela Island, the largest island of the Archipelago.

- After checking into the hotel, enjoy a stroll through Arnaldo Tupiza breeding center. You'll be able to find the different turtles species of Isabela Island.

- Take a stroll to Poza de Flamingos and observe the local wildlife in their natural habitat.

Afternoon

- Lunch 

- After lunch, we will take a short boat ride toward Islote Las Tintoreras where we will look for the famous Galapagos penguin, white tipped reef sharks, blue-footed boobies, sea turtles, and more!

- Get back in the water for a snorkeling adventure where you will have the chance to swim with sea turtles, colorful fish, and manta rays, among other marine life.

- After your adventure, head back to Puerto Villamil.

- You will be able to find the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset at arguably the most beautiful white sand beach of all the islands.

Day 6

Sierra Negra volcano hiking + PM Santa Cruz Island

Morning

- Take included transportation to one of the most impressive natural wonders on Isabela Island -- Sierra Negra Volcano.

- Strap on your hiking boots and get ready to hike on a volcano! Sierra Negra, which last erupted in 2018 is one of the most active volcanoes in Galapagos.

- Arrive at a viewpoint where you’ll get to enjoy the breathtaking view from the rim of  one of the largest and most active volcanic craters in the world.

Afternoon

- After your adventure, head back to Puerto Villamil for lunch.

- Then, take a speedboat back to Santa Cruz Island where we will spend our final evening together.

Day 7

Snorkel an Uninhabited Island ¨Pinzon¨ or similar one

Morning

- After our breakfast in our hotel, our staff will pick you up to go to the pier. 

- Embark on the yacht that will take you sailing to Pinzón Island. 

- One of the stops is in Bahía Pingüino, here we will be able to see several colorful fish. 

- While you are snorkeling, you can see the Galápagos shark, sea lions, sea turtles, stingrays and whitetip sharks.

Afternoon

- After the lunch on the boat, you´ll visit La Fe vay, which is located in the Santa Cruz island.

- Here we can take a short walk observing marine iguanas and blue-footed boobies. 

-On the way back, the captain will give the order to place the fishing rods in the water, although this activity is optional.

Day 8

Departure to Quito

Morning

- Take included transportation to the airport where you’ll catch your included local flight back to Quito.

- Once back in Quito, your Trip Leader will help you find your connecting flight back home.

  • Cancellations with less than 30 days before the clients' entrance have no refund
  • Cancellations between 30 and 60 days prior to the arrival of the clients have a 50% refund on the initial deposit
  • Cancellations with more than 60 days prior to the entry of customers have 100% refund on the total deposited

INDIVIDUAL PASSENGERS CANCELLATIONS POLICY (Until 7 people)

  • Cancellations with less than 10 days before the clients' entrance have no refund
  • Cancellations between 11 and 20 days prior to the arrival of the clients have a 50% refund on the initial deposit
  • Cancellations with more than 30 days prior to the entry of customers have 100% refund on the total deposited

LUGGAGE

One piece of luggage and one carry on piece are allowed. There will be an additional charge for any additional luggage and it will be paid directly by the passenger special for the flight to GALAPAGOS.

GUIDE SERVICES

All of our services are led by bilingual guides (Spanish-English) who are specialized in their field.

If a guide who speaks another language is needed, the client must include this information when the reservation is made and is subject to a charge that will be confirmed at the time of the confirmation.
