Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

After your trip to Kathmandu, We will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. On the way you could have your first impress about Nepalese culture. Change of sceneries guaranteed. Sounds, smell, rickshaws, colours, street…

Day 2

Drive to Pokhara (850 m) / 6 - 7 hours

It is a long way through Nepal on roads both tarred and earth-surfaced, but you won’t be disappointed. You will discover the beautiful countryside of Nepal. Lush greeneries, villages, farms, rivers, lifestyle of local people in the streets and the panoramic view on the Himalaya range.

Day 3

Drive to Nayapul / 1 hour Trek to Ulleri (1560 meters) / 5-6 hours

This first trekking day, will start along the BhurungdiKhola River with bamboo, rhododendrons forests and water springs. We will pass through Ramghai village and keep walking on a gradual ascend to reach TikheDhunga.

Day 4

Trek to Ghorepani (2,850meters) / 6 hours

We will continue following the BhurungdiKhola River. The trail is not too steep but we have to climb a stone staircase through terraced fields. Once arrival at Ghorepani Village, you will enjoy the panoramic view on Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhare and Lamjung among others.

Day 5

Morning hike up to Poonhill (3,210meters) and Trek to Tadapani (2,520 meters) / 8 hours


Early in the morning we will hike up to Poonhill. A famous spot for its magnificent views of the great Himalayan range including Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre and others. It says that is one of the most beautiful viewpoints of Nepal. After enjoyed the sunrise on the mountains, we will return to Ghorepani for a breakfast, and continue our trek to Tadapani.

Day 6

Trek to Chhomrong (2,170meters) / 5 hours

After this day we will be at the other side of ModiKhola that is the main stream of the valley (left side of it) The trail is going down to the river and a gentle ascent to reach Chhomrong. Chhomrong is a beautiful village located on the lap of the giant Annapurna massive and the last permanent village.

Day 7

Trek to Dovan (2,630meters) / 5 hours

Today we will descend to the bottom of the valley on stone stairs, pass a suspension bridge over ChhomrongKhola and we will climb to Sinuwa village (2340m). Afterward, it is a cool walk through the rhododendron and bamboo forest to Doban.

Day 8

Trek to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3,820meters) / 6 hours

We will be on a flat and narrow trail among the forest, which will bring us to Deurali. The vegetation is sparse, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock-face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls. The gate of the Base Camp indicates that we reach Machhapuchre. The views from here are superb and the panorama includes Huinchuli, Annapurna I and III, Gangapurna and Machhapuchhare

Day 9

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 meters) / 2 hours

It will be the last two hours of our ascent to Annapurna Base Camp. After an up steeply trail, we will get the entrance of the hilltop natural amphitheatre with a 360° view on the 13 summits (6 of them are the highestpeaks on the world) that Annapurna range provides. An open-air natural show offered by the Himalaya. You will have all day long to enjoy the view and explore the area.

Day 10

Trek to Dovan (2,630 meters) / 5 hours

We will wake up early to watch the sunrise on the Annapurna range. Afterward we will start the return way and go back to Dovan.

Day 11

Trek to to JhinuDanda (1,750 meters) / 5 hours

We keep retracing the trail but we will always have the company of the extraordinary landscape to cheer us up. Moreover, a relaxing activity is waiting for us near to JhinuDanda. You will have the opportunity to have a bath in the natural hot springs, which is just a 15-20 minute downhill walk. You will appreciate this moment of softness

Day 12

Trek to Nayapul / 6 hours and Drive back to Pokhara / 1 hours

Today it will be our last trekking day. On our way to NayaPul, we get to enjoy the amazing hill landscape of western Nepal. Once arrival in Nayapul, a driver will transfer you to your hotel in Pokhara.

Day 13

Drive back to Kathmandu, 6 hours

Morning breakfast at the hotel and drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus, It takes about 6 hours.

Departure

Breakfast and tranfer to Airport for your onward Journey or fly back home.

You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount per person per trip for your booking to be confirmed.

PASSPORT & VISAS

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date to travel Nepal, Tibet & Bhutan. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visas costs are the sole responsibility of clients.

As you are unable to obtain visas to Bhutan & Tibet you need to send your passport details to Asian Journey for visa applications at least 30 days prior to the departure date.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

FLIGHT DELAY OR CANCELLATION

There is the possibility of a flight delay or postpone due to bad weather in the Himalayan regions which could be happened in particular airports, Lukla Airport in Everest region Jomsom airport in Mustang, Juphal Airport in Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region airports.In this case, you’re highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequence. In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to meet your accommodation and food costs yourself.

RIGHTS TO AMEND THE ITINERARY IF REQUIRED

Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.

HEALTH & FITNESS

All our tours and treks require a level of fitness, there for you should always check with your local GP regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It’s the client’s responsibility to notify Asian Journey of any pre-existing medical condition and/or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you required medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.

INJURIES AND EVACUATION

Asian Journeys would not be liable for any injury/health conditions/emotional or other conditions suffered by the client during the trip. Similarly, our package cost does not include any personal insurance. Hence, we advise the clients to take adequate insurance packages, including medical emergencies and evacuation by Helicopter.

RISK & LIABILITIES

We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a “once in a lifetime” journey. So, we perform our duties honestly and seriously to achieve our commitment. However, the entire program is conducted strictly under the rules and regulation of their own policies.

Therefore, Asian Journey and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restriction, notorious weather, road blockage, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, any natural disaster (earthquake, landslide, flood, snowfall, avalanche, etc) or other things beyond our control. But we will try our best to take you to safety from any kind of danger. Any extra cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot.

INCOMPLETE OR EARLY COMPLETE TRIP

No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary and who finished the trip earlier days than mentioned in the itinerary.

COMPLAINTS

Should you have a complaint about the trip or tour you must make it known to a tour leader or guide at the earliest opportunity who will take the appropriate action.
