The Millennium Gate on Pender Street was built in 2000 for China Town’s blooming economy. We will also see the Sam Kee Building, at just 1.5m/6ft wide, it's the world's most narrow office. Today we will take you directly to the Pacific Central Station (1150 Station Street, Vancouver, BC) to board the VIA Rail. Train will be departing at 3:00 PM, the journey will lead you away from the city's hustle and bustle. As the train progresses, the scenery transitions from dusk to nightfall. The moonlight reflecting on the Fraser Valley creates a unique atmosphere, and later, you'll pass through Granville and head towards Jasper Town in the Rocky Mountain National Park.


**Meeting time from Hotel to the VIA train station, please verify with tour guide one day prior to train departure

**VIA Rail will depart from 15:00PM to Jasper. Please verify the departure time with VIA rail (1-800-6812561)

**Economy class does not include any meals but they do sell meals and drinks on the train. You may upgrade to sleeper class, which includes meals.

It is the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies. (stop for about 100 minutes)

Columbia Icefield adventure Ice explorer and Skywalk (Optional): 

Explore the Columbia Icefield, the largest ice mass in the North American Rockies south of the Arctic Circle. The region is also renowned for its Earth meteorological database, preserving centuries of climate changes. You can choose to ride the massive, specially-designed Snocoach (Ice Explorer) directly onto the Athabasca Glacier surface. Next, enjoy a breathtaking view of the glacier from The Glacier Skywalk. (stop for about 3.5 hours)

**Closed before the 1st Saturday of May and after the 2nd Saturday of October, will be replaced by Minnewanka Lake (20 minutes) & Banff Upper Hot Springs (Optional - Pay onsite / 60 minutes)

It is the headwaters of the Bow River that runs south through the city Calgary and onto the Oldman River ultimately to Hudson Bay. (stop for about 20 minutes)

It is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. During the summer, significant amounts of glacial rock flour flow into the lake, and these suspended rock particles give the lake a bright, turquoise color. Lake Louise — Moraine Lake — Yoho — Spiral Tunnel — Emerald Lake — Natural Bridge

Named for a Cree expression of awe and wonder, Yoho lies on the Western slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

【Spiral Tunnel】

It is one of the most bizarre feats of engineering to get the grade of a train line to be at or below 2.2%. The current two spiral tunnels where the railroad forms two spirals, crossing beneath itself twice, almost forming a figure eight, before continuing in the proper direction down the mountain were completed in 1909. (pass through)

【Emerald Lake】

Emerald Lake is a glacier-fed lake in Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Meltwater from surrounding glaciers carries fine rock particles, called glacial rock flour, into the lake. These suspended particles reflect and absorb sunlight in a way that gives the lake its distinctive greenish hue, highlighting the role of glacial activity in shaping the local landscape.(stop for about 20 minutes)

o More than 32 days prior to departure: 10% of the total booking amount will be charged.

o 15-31 days prior to departure: 60% of the total booking amount will be charged.

o Within 14 days of departure, tour will be NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CHANGEABLE.


Tours with VIA RAIL

o More than 32 days prior to departure:     20% of the total booking amount will be charged.  (*Subject to the booked VIA class)

o 15-31 days prior to departure: 60% of the total booking amount per person will be charged.

o Within 14 days of departure: tour will be NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CHANGEABLE.


Tours with FAIRMONT Hotels or Rocky Mountaineer Train

o More than 50 days prior to departure:  30% of the total booking amount will be charged.

o 32-49 days prior to departure: 80% of the total booking amount will be charged.

o Within 31 days of departure, tour will be NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CHANGEABLE.


**Additional fees, including but not limited to associated credit card or wire transfer service charges, will be applied to any cancellation or amendment request.

reducing the number of travelers, and changing the optional admissions & group meal purchase, as well as amending extended hotel stay.

  • The standard Twin room in North American hotels is equipped with one double bed, two double beds or one double bed or one sofa bed
  • Triple/Quadruple room does not include a third/fourth bed the room types are based on the double occupancy. No extra bed for 3rd & 4th person
