Itinerary

Sail Turkey offers a 7-day adventure aboard a traditional Turkish gulet, cruising the sparkling Mediterranean waters with a group of like-minded explorers. As you journey along the southern coast of Turkey, you'll be captivated by its pristine blue seas and breathtaking landscapes. Rich in history and natural beauty, this unforgettable voyage promises to leave a lasting impression on your heart and memories.

Tour program

Day 1

Fethiye / Oludeniz

Guests must be at the meeting point in Fethiye Harbour at 10:00 a.m. You will be checked into your gulet, where you will get the chance to meet your crew and fellow passengers for the week ahead. You will then cruise out of Fethiye Harbour and head towards Butterfly Valley. Over 130 butterfly species have been seen here at varying times in the year; our cruise will sail over to Oludeniz. Europe's most photographed beach. In the evening, we will anchor at St Nicholas Island. You will have time for a short hike and see the sunset against the backdrop of these ancient ruins.

Day 2

Kalkan / Kas

Today, we will head out toward Aquarium Bay, where the clear blue waters make for a breathtaking spot to swim and snorkel. We will enjoy breakfast and spend some time here before heading for the fishing village of Kas, with its quaint harbour. We will have lunch on the boat. After lunch, you can step ashore and explore the local shops and boutiques. The area is well-known for handmade jewellery. We will either spend the night in the harbour of Kas town so that you can enjoy the nightlife or we can go to one of the secluded bays.

Day 3

Simena / Kekova/ Gokkaya Bay

Many centuries ago, an earthquake sent much of the old city of Kas tumbling into the sea, creating a hauntingly sunken, beautiful town. We will sail past this beautiful historic site and anchor on the opposite side of the bay at the Island of Kekova. Here, you can hike up the island past Lycian tombs and onto the fortress of Simena Castle for incredible panoramic views. Tonight is party night at a bar on an island where you will meet guests from all our boats.

Day 4

Demre / Kaleucagiz

Today, we will begin the morning with a slow, relaxed start with a leisurely breakfast. We will then head to Pirates Cave and spend some time snorkelling and swimming. We will dock at Demre Cayagzi Harbour at approximately 10:00 a.m. You will have a few hours to visit the Ancient city of Myra and the Basilica of St. Nicholas, where you can visit the market or maybe try Turkish tea in a local café. In the afternoon, we will cruise to a secluded cove for swimming or snorkelling before heading back to Gokkaya Bay for the night.

Day 5

Kas

After breakfast and a morning swim, we will cruise back to Kas, allowing you to explore the Amphitheatre further, which is not to be missed. We will finish the day in Aquarium Bay for swimming and Dinner.

Day 6

Oludeniz

We will sail north early today, and you will wake up to the beautiful sight of Butterfly Valley, accessible only by boat and a steep hike. After Butterfly Valley, we will swim at Blue Cave and stay overnight in Karacaoren.

Day 7

Fethiye

After breakfast on our last morning Cruising with you, we will head from St Nicholas Island To Tarzan Bay, relax along the way and take in this beautiful part of this coastline. We will stay at Tarzan Bay for swimming and lunch for a while before returning to our final destination of Fethiye in the afternoon. Check-out time will be approximately 1:00 - 2:00 pm, just enough time for some last photographs and fond farewells.
