Ruby Valley; A hidden gem of Nepal lies on the laps of Ganesh Himal. Similarly, along with such valuable stones, Ruby Valley and Ganesh Himal Trek are also popular for their geography, culture, medical herbs, wildflowers, a lap that can be witnessed during the trek traverse The Ruby Valley trek is a newly opened trekking route that offers a wide range of fantastic mountains like Langtang, Manaslu, Annapurna, and Ganesh Himal massif Area, famous. along with the unique local culture of the Tamang a Gurung people.  This trekking has not been formally established any sort of tourist proper tea house, or lodgest for trekkers but the homestay is available where the traveler can accommodate to stay overnight and teste the local foods while interacting, therefore this route is known as one of the most beautiful and popular homestay treks in Nepal with less-crowded.

Our itinerary offers the best of all including some of the most famous Gurung and Tamang villages. You will be surprised with the beauty of the trail is intensified with a glimpse of the amazing Manaslu range, Annapurna range, Langtang range, Ganesh Himal range, and many others.

The trek starts from the lowland in Kathamndu and takes all the way to cross the Pangsang La Pass located at the altitude of 3900 meters above sea level, where we get the most distinct view of the Himalayas is on the edge of these small hills.

The traditional route of this trek will be following the most iconic local settlements of the Somdang(3,271m),  where we will explore the zinc, and crystal ruby. Then we get to reach the amazing Tipling, Chalish Village, Khading village, Borang and Dhading Besi via passing the ,. Still, the;entirely.the ancient,byfantastic,an, dang pass. the valley is simply outstanding with the warm hospitable people, it's a blend of  Gurung, Tamang, and Dalit people,

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu and preparation

On arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our airport representatives and transfer to the hotel, in the evening, you will have free time for a Q&A session with the guide, overnight at the hotel.

Today is the first day of the Ruby Valley journey, we travel from Kathmandu to Sybrubesi by local bus or Jeep early morning, the bus ride will be around 5-6 hours through the magical lands, enjoying the picturesque views. On arrival, you will have your own room at the hotel of Sybrubesi,  get refreshed, and enjoy dinner in the evening with the group, overnight at Hotel.



In the morning, we start the trek to Ghatlang Village, also located along the Tamang Heritage Trail. Tamang is native to the Rasuwa region and is famous for its traditional culture, heritage, and rituals. Explore the local village at your own pace. We will have dinner and overnight at a local lodge.



The third day of the journey begins with a beautiful breakfast at Somdang, in the morning, we kick off right after a quick breakfast at the hotel, the trails gradually climb towards Yuri kharka through a lush forest of Rhododendron and Pine with outstanding views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges, the ascend to the top takes us up to five hours, the trail is a very gentle climb, sometimes you have access of the road that you can follow up. as we slowly climb up we get to see the close-up views of the Himalayas, after 4-5 hours of trek we reach  Yuri Kharaka before reaching Somdang, where we take a short break for the lunch. After lunch, we continue towards Khurpu Banjyang (3570m) passing the hill we descend downhills as we Following a downhill trail to the Somdang River, this is a border region for Rasuwa and Dhading Districts. You will enjoy the scenic view of Somdang Valley with the en-route visit to Chukarma Waterfall, exceeding a length of 200 meters. Enjoy dinner and overnight at a local lodge and stone hut.



Today is one of the longest days of the trek, grab early breakfast, and start ascending towards the Pangsang- La located at an altitude of 3900 meters high above the sea level, which is the highest point of the region for this trek, a pleasant hike in the early morning takes us to the top of Pangsang from where we can enjoy the mesmerizing panoramic mountains view of the Langtang, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges form the close-up distance. This region is not only reached in nature but it is equally reached and fascinating in the diverse culture as well, where you will have a great opportunity to engage with the unique culture and tradition of the Tamang and Gurung people. This area is a pocket-zone for herbal plants, which still are used in making traditional Tibetan medicine. We will brief you about these rare herbs and their use by the local people. Enjoy the stunning sunset view from the Pass and the late evening or night will be enlightened by the sparkling stars and full moon. Dinner and overnight will be at a stone hut.



Today, we will descend to Chalish Village, which is a cultural hub to witness the Tamang and Gurung communities. Pass several Mane and Buddhist Prayer flags along the route. We will be welcomed by the local people from the Mother and Father Development Community with traditional rituals. If we are lucky, we will witness a traditional Jhankari Shaman dance, which is influenced by both Tibetan and Hindu culture. We will be staying with a local family to get an insight into the rural community, their traditional way of life, and culture.



After having our morning breakfast at Chalish gaon than our journey starts onwards shading villages following the beautiful river valley with the absolutely amazing scenery of nature. Today trek is about 4/5 hours to changing the village. Khading is one of the largest Gurung villages in the Ganesh Himal region which offers an exotic Ganesh view, brilliant Gurung culture, Gumba temples, and great hospitality.



Follow the easy track to Lower Borang which takes us 5 approx to reach and the rest of our time will be exploring the upper Borang Village and visit the Gombas, overnight at homestay!



After our as usual breakfast at Lower Boran, we jump into the local jeep and take a scenic drive back to Dhading Bensi which is the capital of the region, stay overnight at a good hotel and enjoy the good foods here after a long trek in the mountain. 



On the final day of the trek in Ruby Valley, take an early breakfast and ride back to Kathmandu, the drive takes us to reach around 3-4 hours, on arrival, we have leisure time at Thamel, in the evening, the company will host the farewell dinner at the typical restaurant to enjoy the journey of the success.
