Egypt Gift Tours Egyptology guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza on time. Drive to Old Cairo that is also known as Christian Coptic Cairo which is among the most important locations visited by the Holy Family; where the spiritual impact of their presence is still felt. The first stop will be the Hanging Church, named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, which is one of the oldest churches in the world.

Enter the Church of Abu Sergah (St. Sergious), the whole area of the Fort of Babylon, a destination of pilgrimage not only for the Egyptians but for Christians from around the world. Also there you will have a chance to visit St. Barbara Church.
Then, we continue our day tour to Islamic Cairo that was founded in 641 A.D by the First Muslim leader Amr Ibn Elas. Over there in Islamic Cairo you will be able to visit and enter some of the mosques such as; Amr Ibn Elaas Mosque, which is the very first mosque built in Egypt.

Continue, towards the Citadel of Salah El Din, built on famous hill AlMoqattam in Cairo, that was constructed for military purposes, for protecting Cairo from incoming threats. Since then, it became a residence of the king of Egypt for many centuries. Step inside the beautiful Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali; built inside the castle in the 19th century. Take special photos from the Citadel panorama. Political event called “Massacre of the Citadel” happened in the Citadel in 1811, where Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) murdered Mameluke leaders in Qaser El Gawhara palace, and it’s not currently opened for visits.
Cairo’s Khan al-Khalili Bazaar is a major souq in the historic center of Cairo, Egypt. The bazaar district is one of Cairo’s main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. It is an essential Egyptian experience – lose yourself in the colors and aromas of this fascinating marketplace.
Finally you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
