Tour program

Day 1

Arrival Amman

Upon arrival at Amman airport, clear the immigrations and customs, look for your name placard. Here our airport representative will welcome and meet you and later you will be transferred to the hotel. Check in and Dinner at the hotel.

Start point

Amman, Jordan

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy full day excursion to visit Jerash and Dead Sea. Jerash also known as ‘The Jewel of the North’ is one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world, outside Italy. Continue drive to the Dead Sea, one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world and the lowest point on Earth. Return to the hotel in Amman.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today visit the Christian Town of Madaba, which is known as ‘The City of Mosaics’. You will be visiting the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, where you will see the masterpiece of Madaba (a Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land that goes back to the 6th century, showing Jerusalem and other cities). We will then go to Mt. Nebo, which is considered to be one of the most important holy sites in Jordan, as it is believed to be the place where Moses climbed from the Valley of Moab, and from where God showed him the Promised Land, as well as Moses’ last resting place. It features ruins from the 4th to the 6th century with marvelous mosaics adorning the grounds of the church still visible. Proceed via Wadi Al Mujib, a deep valley holding one of Jordan's most breathtaking views. We will continue our journey to the city of Kerak, where we will visit the Crusader's Castle, with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period, and get to know the architectural military brilliance of the Crusaders. Continue south to the hotel in Petra.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and visit the Nabatean Red Rose city of Petra, one of the seven world wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enter the city through 1KM long narrow gorge which is flanked either side by 80m high cliffs! Notice the dazzling colors and formations of the rocks. The site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborated rock-cut tombs, a treasury, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars and colonnaded streets. Head further down in southern Jordan to visit other significant sites including Wadi Rum. Explore Wadi Rum on around 1:30 hour for a Bedouin 4X4 ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was best described by T.E. Lawrence as “Vast, echoing and god-like”, and by the locals as “Valley of the Moon”. Later proceed to the sole gulf city in Jordan; Aqaba. Its sandy beaches and coral reefs are the most pristine on the Red Sea.

Breakfast at hotel. Free time at leisure in Aqaba. Afternoon, transfer back to Amman via Wadi Araba Road.

Breakfast at the hotel. Later in time transfer to airport, to catch flight back home armed with tour enriching experience and happy memories to last a life time.
