Itinerary

The legendary 14-day hiking to the Everest Base Camp is an extraordinary and awe-inspiring experience. It offers the chance to witness the stunning snow-capped peak of the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest. The 14-day Everest Base Camp Trek package by Escape Himalaya, with its unique blend of adventure and safety, is a trustworthy and thrilling option for those seeking an unforgettable hiking adventure to the base of Everest. The trek unveils the remarkable beauty of Nepal, featuring lush vegetation, diverse wildlife, and breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayas.

With a team of professional guides and dedicated support staff, the Escape Himalaya provides a safe and efficient way to scale the lap of magnificent Mount Everest (8,848m). Additionally, the trek offers a unique opportunity to immerse in the local villages' diverse cultures, traditions, and lifestyles. The splendor of Sagarmatha (Everest), known as "Head of the Sky" in Nepalese, stands in all its magnificence alongside the grandeur of peaks like Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), the nobility of Mt. Nuptse (7,861m), and the captivating presence of the ridges of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812m) - often referred to as the Matterhorn of the Himalayas. The enchanting beauty of the region's landscape will leave anyone in awe.

The journey begins with a picturesque flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla (2,840m). Then, it proceeds to Phakding (2,610m), a charming village surrounded by verdant forests and lively rivers. The trek then ascends to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), the vibrant hub of the Sherpa community and a historic trading center. Trekkers usually take a day to acclimatize before continuing their adventure, including a hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for a breathtaking view of Everest and the surrounding peaks. The trek to Tengboche (3,860m) from Namche is a remarkable experience, offering stunning views of the Everest Ranges and Ama Dablam.

Continuing to Dingboche Village (4,410m), another acclimatization day allows trekkers to climb Nangkartshang Hill (5,083m) before heading to Lobuche (4,940m) via Thukla Pass (4,800m), a memorial site for climbers who perished in the Everest mountains. The journey progresses to Gorakshep (5,164m) and Everest Base Camp (5,364m), followed by a hike to Kala Patthar (5,645m) for an extraordinary view of Mount Everest.

The return journey spans three days with overnight stops in Pheriche, Namche, and Lukla, allowing trekkers to relive the diverse hiking trail of Sagarmatha National Park. The descent from Namche to Lukla marks the end of the trek, concluding with a flight back to Kathmandu.
