Our guided trek will take you through the beautiful Sherpa villages. A delightful trip begins with a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Lukla is a gateway to the Everest region.  This trek involves hiking across steep and uneven terrain at high altitudes, reaching a maximum elevation of 5,545 meters. But make no mistake—the challenge is part of Everest's indefinable allure, drawing visitors from all walks of life to experience the rugged wilderness of the Khumbu for themselves. 

While it's essential to be in reasonable physical condition before attempting the Everest Base Camp Trek, you'll be pleased to learn that this non-technical hike requires no special mountaineering skills.

Most trekkers prepare for their adventure with endurance-building exercises such as walking, running, and swimming. However, this incredible short trek is designed for those travel enthusiasts with a short period off their busy working schedules. It's a moderate-to-strength walk, which is not impossible to do with positive encouragement and determination.

Day 1

Kathmandu to Lukla Scenic Flight and short trek to Phakding 2810m)- 4 hrs walk approx

Your trekking guide will pick you up from the hotel early in the morning and drive you to Kathmandu Domestic Airport so you can take a beautiful flight to Lukla, where we start our exciting Everest treks. Beautiful mountain dwellers and imposing mountains will welcome you. From here, We walk on a trail that gradually descends to Cheplung village, where we glimpse Mt. Khumbila, a sacred mountain that has never been climbed. From here, we gradually descend to Phakding, following the bank of the Dudkosi River. We overnighted in Phakding, with a great view of the lush forest and scenery.

Overnight, we will be accommodated at the best possible trekking lodge, including breakfast, lunch, and Dinner (B+L+D).

Start point

Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal

05:00 - 07:00

Enjoy the first breakfast in the mountains and start walking slowly and uniquely towards Namche Bazzar for 6 hours. The first part of the hike is a more gradual climb and level; the trail passes through a pine forest, and we continue our walk on the path that goes north up the Benkar valley, crosses the Dudh Koshi River, and passes Monjo village before reaching the entrance of Everest National Park. We get to a unique suspension bridge, and after crossing a bridge, we get to a small town called Jorsale, where we probably take our lunch or snacks from here to Namche; after all, there is no place to eat in between. After a short break, we pass Jorsalle and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers until Hillary Bridges. From here, we ascend on a steep trail and reach Namche Bazaar, probably the biggest town in the Everest region. From here to a point in between, it's about 2 hours of climbing at a slow pace for about 2 hours through the lush forest of pine and rhododendron trees. Namche Itself is an amazing little town of Sherpa people; from here, you can enjoy the sensational overlooking view of the mountains and their landscape.

Overnight, we will be accommodated at the best possible trekking lodge, including food such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner (B+L+D)

During the third day of our trek, we will take some time to acclimatize and rest at Namche Bazar. On this day, we have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in Sherpa culture and visit the Sagarmatha National Park zone and the Sherpa Museum. The museum offers a wealth of information about mountaineering and Sherpa traditions. Additionally, if you are willing to hike for two hours, you can visit The Everest View Lodge which is located at an elevation of 3900 meters above sea level. From here, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama-doubled, Thamserku, Imza Tse, and many other surrounding snow-capped mountains. After enjoying the sensational views of the Himalayas, we will return to Namche Bazaar via Syangbuche.

After breakfast, we trek along the narrow hilltop, passing a few unique Stupas and a level mountainway that offers a brilliant scene of Thamserku, Kusum Kangri, and Kantega. On strolling a couple of hours on the flat crisscross route, we go down to the waterway and touch base at Phunki Tenga. Afterward, ascend through Rhododendron woods to the Tengboche. The trail to get to Tengboche, overnight stay After having breakfast, we will trek along the narrow hilltop, passing by a few unique Stupas and a level mountainway that offers a brilliant view of Thamserku, Kusum Kangri, and Kantega. We will walk for a couple of hours on the flat crisscross route, then descend to the river and arrive at Phunki Tenga. Later, we will climb through Rhododendron woods to reach Tengboche. We will spend the night at a lodge in Tengboche, where we will be provided with standard breakfast, lunch, and dinner (B+L+D).at Lodge.


I began the day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a challenging climb through the trail towards the Sherpa villages of Labuch and Gorakshep, via the Khumbu Glacier. Once we arrived at Gorakshep, we dropped off our bags and had a quick lunch before making a final push towards Everest Base Camp, which stands at an elevation of 5,364 meters. We enjoyed our time at the base camp, interacting with our team members before returning to Gorakshep, walking through rocky terrain, moraines, streams, and a glacier.


We will spend the night at the best possible trekking lodge or hotel, where we will be provided with standard meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner (B+L+D).

Today, we will embark on a 50-minute drive towards the North during our Himalayan voyage. We will stop at the mani-prayer Stupa and enjoy a scenic walk with breathtaking views of Mt. Tawache, Ama Dablam, and the great wall of Nuptse to the North. Additionally, we will see Pokalde (5741m) and Kongma-Tse (5820m). The trek from Pheriche will take around two hours, and we will take our time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

On the final day of the Everest Base Camp trek, we will walk downhill for several hours. We will cross the twin suspension bridges and head towards the Sagarmatha National Park office. From there, the trail will take us through several villages, including Manjo, Jorsalle, and Ghap, until we finally reach Lukla.

We will spend the night at the best available trekking lodge or hotel, where we will be provided with standard breakfast, lunch, and dinner (B+L+D).

After enjoying the beautiful view of the mountains and spending our final morning in the Everest region, we boarded a small airplane for a thrilling 35-minute flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, we were greeted and taken to our respective hotels.

 

If you wish to extend your trip, there are numerous options available, such as a Chitwan jungle safari, a river rafting adventure, a Kathmandu shopping tour, mountain biking, and other activities. We would be delighted to assist you in any way we can.

 

The package includes breakfast, but please note that this itinerary is designed for physically and mentally strong and experienced trekkers. If you are a beginner, we recommend two extra days for acclimatization or opting for a comfortable Everest base camp trek. The trekking times given below are approximate and should be used as general guidelines only. During the Everest Base Camp Trek, you can travel at your own pace. We also suggest arriving in Kathmandu at least one day before your scheduled itinerary begins to meet with our trekking team in advance and learn more about your planned activities. Additionally, staying in Kathmandu for one or two extra days for acclimatization at the end of the itinerary is helpful, and it will also provide you with more flexible scheduling if mountain flights between Kathmandu and Lukla are delayed due to weather.

During the trek, you will continually descend to Namche Bazaar. You will cross the Dudh Kosi River and Tengboche Monastery, then climb again to Phungethata before reaching Namche Bazaar. For overnight accommodation, we will provide the best available trekking lodge or hotel, along with standard meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner (B+L+D).

On the final day of the Everest Base Camp trek, we will be walking downhill for several hours. We will cross the twin suspension bridges and reach the Sagarmatha National Park office. From there, we will continue on the trail, passing through several villages such as Manjo, Jorsalle, and Ghap, before finally reaching Lukla.

For our overnight stay, we will be accommodated at the best possible trekking lodge or hotel, where we will enjoy a standard breakfast, lunch, and dinner (B+L+D).

After enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains and the last morning in the Everest region, we will board a small airplane for a 35-minute flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, we will be met and transferred to our respective hotels. If you want to extend your trip, there are plenty of options available, including a Chitwan jungle safari, a river rafting adventure, a Kathmandu shopping tour, mountain biking, and other activities. We will be happy to assist you with any of these activities upon your request.
