Columbia Icefield: Step onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier aboard the Ice Explorer and experience breathtaking views of towering peaks and frozen landscapes. Marvel at one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle, with the option to experience the glacier firsthand on the Ice Explorer. (Approx. 2.5hrs stop)

**Seasonal attraction: Closed before the 1st Saturday of May and after the 2nd Saturday of October. During closure periods, this activity is replaced by Lake Minnewanka visit (20mins stop) and Banff Upper Hot Springs (Optional, 60mins stop, Payable onsite). Please bring bathing attire if planning to participate in the Hot Springs.

**Note: If Banff Upper Hot Springs is unavailable, the alternative will be Cave & Basin National Historic Site.

Bow Lake: Experience the most visited lake on the Icefield Parkway, where the reflection of Crowfoot Mountain on the mirror-like water creates a serene atmosphere perfect for photography. During summer, this area serves as a natural habitat for wildlife, including bears. (Approx. 20min. stop)

Peyto Lake: Marvel at one of the most photographed lakes in Canada, famous for its ever-changing turquoise colors. The high concentration of glacial minerals in the water creates a vivid blue appearance that sometimes looks almost unreal. (Approx. 20min. stop)

**Note: If not accessible, this will be replaced with a visit to Waterfowl Lake.

Banff Sulphur Mountain Gondola (Optional): Soar to an elevation of 2,281 meters in 8 minutes for a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of six mountain ranges and the entire Bow Valley below. (Approx. 90min. stop)

The journey continues through the heart of the Canadian Rockies with visits to the legendary Lake Louise and Summer-exclusive Moraine Lake. This spectacular day features some of the most photographed landscapes in Canada, from the turquoise waters of Lake Louise set against Victoria Glacier to the emerald-hued Moraine Lake nestled in the Valley of the Ten Peaks.


Lake Louise: Admire the breathtaking turquoise waters of this iconic alpine lake named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, with time to explore the shoreline and capture perfect photographs. (Approx. 2hrs stop)


Moraine Lake (Seasonal, Early June to Early October): Discover the stunning Valley of the Ten Peaks featuring one of the most beautiful lakes in the Rockies. Its vivid turquoise color is created by light reflecting off glacial rock flour. (Approx. 45min. stop)

**If Moraine Lake is closed, the stop will be replaced by Vermilion Lakes. For customers choose to upgrade one night stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, they will not visit Vermillion Lakes.


Rogers Pass: Travel through this historic and scenic mountain pass, a designated National Historic Site that played a crucial role in connecting Canada by railway and highway. (Approx. 20min. stop)


Dutchman Farm Ice Cream: Take a delightful break at Dutchman Farm, where you can sample fresh, creamy ice cream made with local ingredients—a sweet taste of the Okanagan countryside. (Approx. 20min. stop)

Vernon/ Kelowna — Okanagan Lake — VQA Winery — Merritt Town — Vancouver

Multi-Day tour

o More than 32 days prior to departure: 10% of the total booking amount will be charged.

o 15-31 days prior to departure: 60% of the total booking amount will be charged.

o Within 14 days of departure, tour will be NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CHANGEABLE.


Tours with VIA RAIL

o More than 32 days prior to departure:     20% of the total booking amount will be charged.  (*Subject to the booked VIA class)

o 15-31 days prior to departure: 60% of the total booking amount per person will be charged.

o Within 14 days of departure: tour will be NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CHANGEABLE.


Tours with FAIRMONT Hotels or Rocky Mountaineer Train

o More than 50 days prior to departure:  30% of the total booking amount will be charged.

o 32-49 days prior to departure: 80% of the total booking amount will be charged.

o Within 31 days of departure, tour will be NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CHANGEABLE.


**Additional fees, including but not limited to associated credit card or wire transfer service charges, will be applied to any cancellation or amendment request.

reducing the number of travelers, and changing the optional admissions & group meal purchase, as well as amending extended hotel stay.

Notes for hotels

  • According to the regulations of different hotels, you might be asked to provide credit card as a deposit for incidental expenses during the stay, such as telephone calls and etc.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms. Violation of the rules will result in a fine of passenger’s own cost
  • The standard Twin room in North American hotels is equipped with one double bed, two double beds or one double bed or one sofa bed
  • Triple/Quadruple room does not include a third/fourth bed the room types are based on the double occupancy. No extra bed for 3rd & 4th person
