- Transfer to Sigiriya – approximately 5 hours drive
- Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, this complex dates back to the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC. c.
- Climb up to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO world heritage site now and was the palace and pleasure garden of King Kassapa
- Spend the night in Sigiriya
Day 3
SIGIRIYA - POLONNARUWA - MINNERIYA - SIGIRIYA
- Breakfast at the Hotel
- Visit Polonnaruwa, the second oldest city in the kingdoms of Sri Lanka.
- Afternoon safari in Minneriya National Park, known for its large herd of elephants
- Drive back to your hotel in Sigiriya
Day 4
SIGIRIYA - KANDY
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transfer to Kandy – approximately 3 hours of travel
- Visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. It is near the Mahaweli River and is famous for its collection of orchids.
- Spend the night in Kandy

KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA (Train ride optional)

- Visit Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth Relic) in Kandy where the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha is housed. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy.
- Transfer to Nuwara Eliya, capital of Ceylon Tea – approximately 3 hours drive
- Stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya
Day 6
NUWARA ELIYA - HORTON PLAINS - NUWARA ELIYA

- Visit Horton Plains National Park for a 4-hour nature trail to see Baker Falls and the World's End Point
- Relax at the hotel or take a stroll in the cool climes of Nuwara Eliya city, once the recreational city of British rulers.
