Erleben Sie fünf Tage Winterabenteuer im hohen Norden. Wir nehmen Sie mit zum Schneemobilfahren, Schneeschuhwandern und Eisfischen, zeigen Ihnen die atemberaubende Winterlandschaft von oben bei einem Rundflug. Wir lassen Sie im "Yukon Wildlife Preserve" Wildtiere aus nächster Nähe beobachten und verwöhnen Sie mit einem Sprung in das wohltuend heiße Wasser der "Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs". Dies ist eine erlebnisreiche Wintertour im Yukon für junge und junggebliebene Reisende. An zwei Abenden Ihrer Wahl fahren Sie etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums, aber weit genug von den Lichtern der Stadt entfernt zu einem idyllischen Ort der Nordlichtbeobachtung, dem AuroraCentre. An den Abenden können Sie die Nordlichter entspannt an einem gemütlichen Holzofen oder am prasselnden Lagerfeuer beobachten. Ein Winterurlaub ist erst dann wirklich komplett, wenn Sie die Möglichkeit haben, das Polarlicht zu beobachten, das sich über den Nachthimmel ergießt.

Tag 2

Heiße Quellen, wilde Tiere und ein Blick aus der Vogelperspektive

Wir beginnen den Tag mit einem Rundflug über die spektakuläre Winterlandschaft bei einem 30-minütigen Rundflug. Während des Fluges können wir den Winter im Yukon aus einem Blickwinkel genießen, den nur wenige Menschen jemals erleben werden. Zurück in Whitehorse entdecken wir die Geschichte des Nordens bei einer Stadtrundfahrt. Whitehorse hat viel zu bieten und beherbergt berühmte Sehenswürdigkeiten wie den historischen Schaufelraddampfer SS Klondike oder einen "Wolkenkratzer", der komplett aus Baumstämmen gebaut wurde. Später fahren wir zum Yukon Wildlife Preserve, wo wir Wildtiere wie Elche, Karibus, Bergziegen und Stachelschweine aus nächster Nähe in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung beobachten können. Nicht weit von hier besuchen wir die Eclipse Nordic Hotsprings und lassen uns in den natürlichen heißen Gewässern verwöhnen und entspannen in einer atemberaubenden Winterbergkulisse. Später in der Nacht sind Sie wieder unterwegs, diesmal auf der Suche nach den atemberaubenden Nordlichtern. Entspannen Sie sich in geschütztem Komfort oder unter dem Sternenhimmel an einem warmen Feuer an einem unserer maßgeschneiderten Orte zur Aurora-Beobachtung. Hotelübernachtung in Whitehorse.

Tag 3

Eisfischen und Schneeschuhwandern auf einem zugefrorenen See

Heute machen wir uns auf den Weg zum Eisangeln auf einem der schönen Seen in der Gegend von Whitehorse. Mit Hilfe eines Eisbohrers werden wir ein Loch in das Eis bohren. Das Eis auf einem See kann zwischen 30 cm und einem Meter dick sein! Für heiße Getränke ist gesorgt, damit wir uns aufwärmen können. Schauen Sie sich um und genießen Sie die Schönheit eines Wintertages, während Sie auf den großen Fang warten! Wenn wir Glück haben und eine schöne Forelle fangen, wird Ihr Führer sie filetieren und auf dem Feuer zubereiten. Am Ende unseres Tages kehren wir mit einem Rekordfang und tollen Erinnerungen nach Whitehorse zurück. Später am Abend machen wir uns auf den Weg zum AuroraCentre, wo wir den Anblick von Nordlichtern suchen.

Tag 4

Auf schnellen Spuren durch den Schnee

Am Nachmittag fahren wir in die Berge in der Nähe von Whitehorse. Nach einer ausführlichen Sicherheitseinweisung steigen wir auf unsere Motorschlitten. Mit angenehmer Geschwindigkeit fahren wir durch die unvergessliche Winterlandschaft des Yukon und genießen den Anblick der schneebedeckten Berge. Mit einem Schneemobil kann die Fahrt eine aufregende Fahrt auf und ab von herrlichen Bergen oder eine entspannende Tour durch den Wald und auf historischen Pfaden sein. GOODS & SERVICE TAX (GST): All Canadian tour prices are subject to 5% GST. Invoices must be paid in their respective currency to the appropriate bank (account information provided on each invoice). We also acccept bookings by phone or fax.

PAYMENT PROCEDURES

'Day Tour' bookings: 100% payment of the invoice is required at time of booking.

'Multi-Day Tour' bookings: 25% deposit of the total invoice is required 14 days after the date of confirmation.

FINAL PAYMENT

'Day Tour' bookings: All invoices must be paid in full prior to tour departure.

'Multi-Day Tour' bookings: All invoices must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival.

The following cancellation fee schedule applies to all invoices unless otherwise noted in advance. These fees will be noted on our confirmation.

Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellation fees are based on percentage of the total invoice and based on the date cancellation is receives in our office.

Within 7 days: 100%

MULTI-DAY TOURS

Anytime after invoicing: 25%

60-45 days prior to departure: 40%

44-30 days prior to departure: 60%

Within 30 days: 100%

CANCELLATION AND REFUND BY Arctic Range Adventure LTD.:

If the minimum number of participants has not been reached, we reserve the right to cancel a tour up to 14 days prior to start of the tour. You will be notified immediately and you are entitled to a full refund if you are unable to join one of our other departures. If we or our partners are forced to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, like forest fires, floods, breakdowns, all decisions are left to the discretion of the tour guide.

Charter Services & Custom Programs are subject to a deposit and cancellation policy that is different from our standard payment & cancellation policy. We reserve the right to charge additional deposit or full payment at the time of booking. You will be advised at time of exact deposit and cancellation terms.

LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

Arctic Range Adventure chooses its suppliers (e.g. hotels, carriers and other suppliers providing tour services) with great care. These suppliers are, however, independent contractors and Canadian Arctic Range Adventure cannot be held responsible or liable for their acts or omissions.

For all activity programs (i.e., but not limited to, river rafting, horseback riding, canoeing, hiking, sightseeing etc.) in Canada and USA clients will have to sign a “waiver of liability”. The tour operator and wholesaler is under the obligation to inform the client in time that a waiver of liability has to be signed at the beginning of the program. Arctic Range Adventure will, of course, always do its best to ensure the greatest possible safety for all its clients.

Arctic Range Adventure can also not be held liable for changes in tour itineraries due to weather conditions, acts of God or special conditions beyond our control.

All costs that may result from any delays of passengers at the airport or any delays that might occur at the end of the trip are the responsibility of the client. Arctic Range Adventure cannot be held liable.

Furthermore, Arctic Range Adventure cannot be held liable for the contents of any brochure prepared by a wholesaler or tour operator and any misrepresentation of our tours therein.

Should clients encounter problems during their trip they are required to contact Arctic Range Adventure immediately in order to solve the problem. Should a written account of concern be filed, it has to be sent to Arctic Range Adventure within 4 weeks of completion of trip. Claims received after that date cannot be considered.

An all inclusive accident- and luggage insurance for your tour is very important and highly recommended.
