You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of all countries visited.  Further, your trip will travel between cities on various modes of transportation; if you are not present at the aforementioned time (for said transportation) your group leader reserves the right to carry on without you so as not to divert from the predetermined itinerary.  If this is the case we are not responsible for any additional transportation costs that may arise.  We are not responsible for your health, safety, well being, or any other liabilities during this time in which you are “separated from the group” on your own recognizance.  Lastly, you are never obliged to participate in any activity, which you wish not to for whatever reason.

Changes to Itineraries

BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC reserves the right to cancel, delay, or reschedule any tour prior to departure, and, so long as this is not due to any causes beyond our control (as stated in the Limits on Responsibility section) the passenger shall be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid to that point if he/she so desires, less any non-refundable deposits or uncollectible expenses incurred. If we do change the itinerary, and you are already booked for that particular trip, we will notify you of the changes.  If you are not pleased with the changes you may receive a full refund provided you request a refund 3 business days after receiving a notice of change to your trip itinerary from BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC.

Limits on Responsibility

BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC, its organizers, founder, partner, employees, group/trip leaders, event hosts, officers, directors, successors, agents and assigns, does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip. BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC is not responsible for damages, additional expenses, or any other losses due to cancellation, delay or other changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, civil disturbances, acts or threats of terrorism, travel warnings or bans, termination or suspension of war risks or other carrier insurance, quarantine, acts of God or other causes beyond its control. All such losses must be borne by the traveler, and tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated.BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC is not responsible for delays, changes or cancellation costs due to incorrect, incomplete or expired traveler documents. In the event of cancellation, delay or rescheduling mandated by any of the aforesaid causes beyond BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC’ control, the passenger shall have the option of accepting in lieu of the original tour such rescheduled tour or other substituted tour(s) as may be offered, or else, receiving a refund of as much of such advance tour expenditures as BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC can recover on the traveler’s behalf from carriers, third-party tour vendors, etc., but, BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC shall not have any obligation or liability to the traveler beyond the foregoing. BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC reserves the right to make alterations to a tour’s itinerary and to substitute hotels, vehicles, ships, or activities if this are required.

Risks: There are certain inherent risks in adventure travel of the type involved here. These include, but are not limited to, hiking, walking, climbing injuries and altitude sickness, and in all trips dangers of animals, inaccessibility to medical attention and difficulty in evacuation from remote locations in the case of a medical emergency. Passenger assumes all such risks with regard to these possibilities.

Travel Advisories/Warnings: It is the responsibility of The Traveler to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings by referring to the U. S. State Department’s travel website at www.travel.state.gov/ or by phone at 1-888-407- 4747. In the event of an active State Department Travel Warning against travel to the specific destination location(s) of the trip, should The Traveler still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory or warning, The Traveler assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against.

Travelers Representations: The Traveler represents that neither he nor she nor anyone traveling with him or her has any physical or other condition or disability that could create a hazard to himself or herself or other members of the tour. BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC reserves the right to decline to accept anyone on a trip. BUCKET LIST GROUP TRAVEL LLC reserves the right to remove from the trip, at his or her sole expense, anyone whose condition is such that he or she could create a hazard to himself or others, or otherwise impact the enjoyment of other passengers on the trip.

If you have reserved a spot via a deposit transaction, full payment is due 60 days prior to departure.  If full payment is not made by this time we reserve the right to retain any deposits made and release your spot to someone else.  We accept payment via credit card, debit card and wire transfer. Also we have option by paying through PayPal or Venmo. If you pay by wire transfer you are responsible for all fees associated with such payments.

Deposit Requirement

If your booking is made 60 days (or more) prior to departure you may pay a non-refundable deposit (30% of the trip total cost) to reserve your spot on the trip. Until this deposit is made your spot on the trip is not guaranteed. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

More than 60 days prior to departure you will receive a full refund less deposit amount

Between 45 to 60 days prior to departure we will retain the deposit or 50% of the amount paid (whichever is greater)

Less than 45 days prior to departure we receive the right to not refund any of the costs paid

By TRIP N TREK LLC:

We may cancel a trip at any time up to 30 days before departure, if, for example, the minimum number of 4 participants required for departure isn’t satisfied. We will advise if the trip does not have the minimum requirement at the time of booking. We also may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned itinerary. If we cancel your trip you will receive a full refund. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.

Insurance

Travel insurance is required for all international trips.  Insurance covers (and reimburses you) for things like trip cancellation, trip interruption, and trip delay, lost or delayed baggage, medical coverage, medical evacuation etc. For example, if there’s a giant snow storm and your plane is grounded and you end up (unfortunately) missing most or all of the trip the insurance company would reimburse you for this.  Please note TRIP N TREK would not reimburse you for this (hence why we strongly recommend travel insurance).  Note that travel insurance (nor TRIP N TREK) would cover such things as “I overslept and missed my plane”.  There are different degrees and levels of trip insurance but we require minimum coverage of $100,000 covering personal injury, medical expenses etc. Your entire trip cost (including airfare) must be covered under whichever plan you purchase.  You will need to provide proof of purchase of travel insurance before coming on the trip; we have the right to refuse attendance if valid trip insurance coverage is not produced prior to the trip start date.

Flight Booking

We need a minimum of 7 members for any trip to happen so before booking your local or international flights, please confirm and co-ordinate with the trip organizer about it.

Passports and Visas

Valid passports are required for travel to all international destinations. The traveller is responsible to ensure his/her passport is valid for at least 6 months after the departure date of the trip.  Check with the appropriate consulate or embassy for the latest visa requirements.

Pricing

Prices are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes. TRIP N TREK LLC reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs, tariffs and taxes, and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. TRIP N TREK LLC also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it to make such alterations in the itinerary or with the tour inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable and to pass on to tour members any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control. Itineraries and arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond TRIP N TREK LLC’s control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued.  See Changes to Itineraries for further details.

Promotional Photography

TRIP N TREK LLC reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. By signing up for any event with  TRIP N TREK LLC, you as a participant agree to allow the images to be used. Trip participants who prefer that their images not be used must state so while booking for an event.

Claims and Refunds

Refunds are not made for any missed services, except for verifiable extenuating circumstances. Please see our Limits on Responsibility on this page. For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 30 days of the termination of the program and be accompanied by supporting documentation and/or a statement from the Operating Company verifying the claim. Any adjustment considered will be based on the actual price of the services involved and not on a per diem basis. Adjustments will not be made for unused sightseeing trips or meals. TRIP N TREK LLC will not accept any liability for any claims that are not received within 30 days of the termination of your travel program. All claims for days missed while travelling should be made in writing within 30 days of the termination of the program.

Air Transportation

TRIP N TREK LLC will not accept any responsibility for mistakes or errors in airfare bookings made by independent third parties. The traveler’s confirmed web page will have detailed tour information, and it is up to the traveler to ensure the correct arrival and departure flight information from the tour start and end cities. The independent agent will arrange the best-priced airfare available at the time of your trip’s booking. Please note that certain airfares are subject to a service fee.

Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. These programs may use the services of any IATA carrier. International air carriers are subject to international air conventions limiting their liability. The limitations of liability are contained on the reverse side of the airline ticket and form part of the terms and conditions of this package. The passage contract in use by these companies, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these travel programs and/or passage.

Baggage allowances on airlines are subject to the specific policy of the air carrier we have booked.  You are responsible for any additional baggage charges beyond what the airline has allowed.  You will be notified of the exact airline carrier at least 14 days prior to departure.
