After landing at Juan Santamaria Airport, a representative will meet and greet you before guiding you to the transport to your hotel. Arrive in Puerto Viejo (check-in around 3:00 pm) and enjoy leisure time during the day at the surrounding beaches. Explore by your own the colourful town, shopping around, discover new flavours and the local gastronomy and have a good time! Overnight in Puerto Viejo.

PUERTO VIEJO (7km – 3hrs hike)

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a walk of approximately 7 km along the path of the national park. Entering the park through the sector of Playa Blanca and taking the trail to Punta Cahuita, the tour will be a journey of beautiful beaches where you can swim in the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea, observe various types of wildlife such as sloths, face monkeys white, Howlers, anteaters, armadillos, raccoons, blue morph butterflies, birds and many other things like medicinal plants, orchids, trees, ferns, bromeliads, etc. Overnight in Puerto Viejo.

After one last breakfast, at the agreed time, pick-up at your hotel in Puerto Viejo to transfer you to Juan Santamaria Airport Rica to continue your trip.
