Ihre Einführung in La Macarena, Caño Cristalitos:

Ihr Flug landet am mittleren bis späten Vormittag in La Macarena. Nach Ihrer Ankunft holt Sie Ihr Reiseleiter am Flughafen ab und gemeinsam schlendern Sie ein paar Häuserblocks weiter zum Büro der Cormacarena und des Nationalparks (Tourismusbüro von La Macarena). Dort nehmen Sie an einer obligatorischen 30-minütigen Einweisung durch einen Vertreter teil.

Nach diesem Gespräch fahren Sie zu Ihrem Hotel, wo Sie Ihr Gepäck abgeben und ein schnelles, typisches Mittagessen der Region genießen können, bevor Ihr Abenteuer richtig beginnt.

Abhängig von Ihrer Ankunftszeit und der Anzahl der Personen in den verschiedenen Teilen des Nationalparks wird der Vertreter von Cormacarena Ihnen zuweisen, welches Ziel Sie an diesem ersten Tag besuchen können. Leider wird Caño Cristales aufgrund der Ankunftszeit der Flüge nicht zu den Optionen gehören, und Sie werden entweder Caño Cristalitos & El Mirador oder El Bajo Lozada genießen können.

Caño Cristalitos und El Mirador werden in der Regel am ersten Tag Ihr Ziel sein. Anschließend wandern Sie etwa 90 Minuten lang durch die Savanne und suchen einen schönen Ort, der von kleinen Teichen umgeben ist, in denen dieselbe Wasserpflanze (Macarenia clavigera) wächst, die auch im Caño Cristales zu finden ist. Daher auch der Name Caño Cristalitos, was so viel wie eine kleinere Version von Caño Cristales bedeutet.

Nach Ihrer ersten Erfahrung mit dieser schönen und einzigartigen Wasserpflanze geht es nach einem erfrischenden Bad und einer viel leichteren 60-minütigen Wanderung hinunter zu Ihrem wartenden Boot am Flussufer.

Zum Abschluss des Tages fahren Sie zurück nach La Macarena, um sich auszuruhen und vor dem morgigen Abenteuer ein Abendessen einzunehmen.

Heute ist Tag 2 Ihres Abenteuers in La Macarena und endlich der Tag, an dem Sie den erstaunlichen Caño Cristales besuchen können.

Sie werden nach dem Frühstück abgeholt und beginnen die erste Etappe der heutigen Reise mit einer 20-minütigen Bootsfahrt auf dem Rio Guayabero, bevor Sie für weitere 40 Minuten in einen Geländewagen umsteigen. Dann folgt eine etwa einstündige Wanderung zum Fluss der sieben Farben, dem Caño Cristales!

Nach Ihrer Ankunft können Sie einen Spaziergang machen, um die besten Plätze für das perfekte Foto zu finden und ein herrliches Bad in diesen magischen und erfrischenden Lagunen mit kristallklarem Wasser an diesem idyllischen Ort zu nehmen.

Nachdem Sie ein typisches Mittagessen, ein Bad in den Pools und ein wenig Meditation in dieser friedlichen Umgebung genossen haben, machen Sie sich auf den Rückweg und nehmen den Weg, den Sie gekommen sind, mit einer Mischung aus Wandern, Bootfahren und 4x4. Nur dieses Mal mit einer Kamera voller Erinnerungen und einem kleinen Stück Paradies in Ihrem Herzen.

Nach dem Frühstück holt Ihr Reiseleiter Sie von Ihrem Hotel ab, bevor Sie alle gemeinsam zur Anlegestelle für eine weitere kurze Bootsfahrt auf dem Guayabero-Fluss fahren. Diesmal geht es für etwa 35 Minuten in die entgegengesetzte und weniger befahrene Richtung als an den vorherigen Tagen.

Sie halten am Nordufer des Flusses an einer Grundschule und werden mit einem Lächeln begrüßt und Ihrem Pferd für den nächsten 40-minütigen Ritt vorgestellt. Auf einem gut ausgetretenen Pfad reiten Sie durch Farmland mit Rindern und riesigen Bäumen, über kleine Holzbrücken und durch kleine Knarren, bevor Sie eine kleine Finca erreichen.

Hier halten Sie an, um ein erfrischendes Getränk zu sich zu nehmen, bevor Sie zu Fuß durch weiteres Ackerland und in ein kleines Stück Amazonasdschungel weitergehen. Auf Holzplanken, die über den schlammigen Boden gelegt wurden, wandern Sie weiter in die Mangroven und besteigen ein kleines Ruderboot in der Lagune der Stille.

Nach 20 Minuten Paddeln durch das überschwemmte Gebiet entdecken Sie Palmen, die zu einem riesigen U gewachsen sind, und andere, die einen vollen Kreis gebildet haben. Sie steigen vorsichtig aus dem Ruderboot aus und versuchen, beide Füße aus dem Wasser zu halten. In dieser Lagune leben nicht nur viele Arten von Süßwasserfischen und rosa Delfinen, sondern auch Piranhas, Stachelrochen und Zitteraale.

Nach einer Mittagspause, in der Sie sich in einer Hängematte entspannen und den Klängen der Natur lauschen können, und einer Partie Tejo (ein traditionelles kolumbianisches Spiel, das Sie überall entdecken können), fahren Sie weiter die Lagune hinauf und durchqueren dabei weitere Mangroven und wandern 30-40 Minuten durch den Amazonasdschungel. Sie lauschen den fernen Schreien der Affen und überqueren schlammige Knarren auf Brücken, die aus 3 zusammengebundenen Bambusstangen und einem losen Seil als Geländer bestehen. Sie werden lächeln und wissen, dass Sie wirklich eine einzigartige Reise erleben, die nur wenige andere erlebt haben.

Wenn Sie an eine Öffnung kommen, entdecken Sie eine Finca, die Ihnen Snacks und ein kühles Getränk anbietet, bevor Sie ein Bad in diesem wunderschönen Ort nehmen. Im Gegensatz zur Lagune ist der Fluss hier mit Süßwasserfischen gefüllt, die Sie nicht fressen, sondern einfach um Sie herumschwimmen, während Sie sich von der tropischen Hitze abkühlen. Die von Obstbäumen umgebene Finca wird jeden Tag von Affen besucht, die hier ihr Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen einnehmen. Der Sonnenaufgang in Los Llanos ist einfach atemberaubend. Mit Blick auf die weiten Ebenen sehen Sie, wie das leuchtende rote Licht langsam den dunklen Himmel durchbricht, gefolgt von einem langsam aufflammenden Orange, das den Horizont einhüllt.

Bevor Sie in das Flugzeug zurück in die Realität springen, haben Sie noch Zeit für eine letzte Erkundung der Umgebung. Also gehen Sie wieder nach unten, um ein Frühstück zu genießen, bevor Sie nach Caño Piedras aufbrechen. By placing a booking with BnB Colombia, Inc. you (the client) and your booking party agree to all of the following terms, conditions, and policies as set out below. During any of the tours, you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set out below. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a reservation.

Traveling Details Form:

Prior to accepting any reservation, we require all travelers to complete our Travelers Details Form. All sections must be completed and a copy of each traveler’s passport photo page must be provided (can be in black and white).

Why do we ask for this?

Colombian regulations require hotels, tour operators, and travel agencies to keep a copy of customers’ passports on file and to provide them to authorities on request. Without this documentation, we may not be able to honor your reservation.

For example, if the transportation is stopped by police, the driver must know who they are transporting, and to be able to provide the information to the police at this time.

Foreign residents are also exempt from a 19% IVA (VAT) tax.

By providing a valid overseas passport we do not charge this 19% IVA tax.

Without this documentation, we are required to charge you this tax.

Payments and Service Fees:

Private Package Tours: At the time of booking a 30% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation and tour date. The remaining balance is to be paid 60 days before the tour start date.

Group Package Tours: At the time of booking a 30% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation and tour date. The remaining balance is to be paid 60 days before the tour start date.

Changes to Tours:

We reserve the right to make small changes during your tour or prior to your tour date. This may be caused by extreme weather, safety or health concerns, traffic delays, changes to operational hours of experiences and destinations, other logistical issues, or just recommendations from previous clients that will improve your experience. You will be advised of any changes that may be made.

After payment has been received, you may request changes to your itinerary. If available, these changes will be provided with an additional cost that must be paid prior to the tour date. Changes to your itinerary cannot be requested after the tour start date.

If a tour finishes early, any additional experiences requested will require an additional payment.

If time permits during transfers small stoppages are permitted for photos or bathroom breaks.

Longer stops of 15 minutes or more will require an additional payment unless pre-arranged in the itinerary.

Additional tours during the process of a transfer are not permitted.

Photos taken during Tours:

We reserve the right to use any photos and or videos taken during transfers or tours in future social media posts or in the publication of our tours. These photos and or videos may or may not include travelers. If you do not wish to be included in any photos or videos please put this in writing to your destination expert or email [email protected].

Cancellation, Non-Arrival (No-show), and Refund Policy:

All cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected] and will not be accepted via telephone. In case of a cancellation or change to plans already booked, we advise clients to contact us immediately for a solution, however, cancellation fees may apply.

Day Tours & Private Transfers:

If you wish to change or cancel your reservation for any reason 72 hours or more prior to the start of your tour or transportation you will receive a full refund, which will be provided within 7 working days.

If you wish to change or cancel your reservation for any reason less than 72 hours prior to the start of your tour or transportation you will lose the complete value of your tour and/or transportation.

“No Shows” will lose the complete value of your tour and/or transportation.

Private Package Tours:

All deposits are 100% non-refundable (Lifetime credit available).
“No Shows” will lose the complete value of the tour(s).
Free date changes for any reason 61 days or more prior to the start of your Private Package Tour. Except for any non-refundable expenses incurred by BnB Colombia Tours, such as flights and accommodation.
If you cancel your reservation for any reason 61 days or more prior to your scheduled Private Package Tour start date, you can be reimbursed the full cost of your Private Package Tour minus the non-refundable deposit of 30% of the Private Package Tour cost + the costs of any non-refundable expenses incurred by BnB Colombia Tours, such as flights and accommodation. After any non-refundable expenses are removed, the deposit shall be held as a Lifetime Credit for you!
If you wish to change your reservation for any reason less than 61 days prior to the start of your Private Package Tour, a 50% re-booking/cancelation fee will be assessed and required to confirm any changes + the costs of any non-refundable expenses incurred by BnB Colombia Tours, such as flights and accommodation.
If you wish to cancel your reservation for any reason less than 61 days prior to the start of your Private Package Tour, you will lose the complete value of your Private Package Tour minus the non-refundable deposit of 30% of the Private Package Tour cost + the costs of any non-refundable expenses incurred by BnB Colombia Tours, such as flights and accommodation.

Your Personal Details & Privacy

To keep our prices as low as possible (residents of foreign countries are not required to pay IVA for accommodation, transportation, or tours) and for security reasons, we keep a register of all persons who stay with us and/or book tours through our website, this includes the full names, nationality, home addresses, telephone numbers, and copies of passport photo pages, and passport numbers. These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months.

This information may also be used for the purposes of marketing, understanding our client base, and improving our services to the general public.

Our policy surrounding the personal details you provide as part of any booking or inquiry through this website / or a third-party website, including the privacy of those details is explained and set out in our Privacy policy.

Liability and Travel Insurance

BnB Colombia Tours Inc. accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, injury, sickness, or schedule change due to weather, strike, natural disaster, or any other cause beyond our control. Including any default or delay caused by any guide, tour, or transport provider, or any other person’s or company’s acts. BnB Colombia Tours reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries, or departure times, without prior notice, should the necessity arise. In the case of any changes to flights or to scheduled ground travel, you are responsible for additional costs incurred as a result of such changes. We, therefore, advise all travelers it is mandatory for you to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to meet all contingencies. This insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. You are strongly recommended to extend your coverage to include cancellation, curtailment, and all other expenses that may arise due to loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience while traveling. You acknowledge that insurance coverage is not included in the cost of any tour offered by BnB Colombia Tours, and you are required to obtain separate coverage at an additional cost. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient coverage and comply with the terms of the applicable insurance plans. You are responsible for advising your insurer of the type of travel, destination(s), and activities included in your booking so that the insurer may provide appropriate coverage.

Our Right To Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund, or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.

We reserve the right to remove any person without compensation, refund, or reimbursement from a shared group tour for operational issues.

No show/non-arrival: A person(s) who do not attend a tour(s) at the agreed-upon time.

Private Package Tour: A multi-day private tour that includes multiple tours with a duration of more than 1 day.

Group Package Tour: A multi-day package tour shared with other travelers that may have booked separately to you. It includes multiple tours with a duration of more than 1 day.

Also referred to as a shared tour

Transportation: The service of transporting a person(s) from one location to another location. May include car, bus, van, plane, 4×4

Accommodation: The location a person(s) may sleep. May include hostel, hotel, Finca, farm, private residents, shared rooms, and private rooms.

Free Date Changes: There is no service fee for providing the changes to the dates of your private day tour if made at least 48 hours before the tour start date.

There is no service fee for providing the changes to the dates of your private package tour if made at least 31 days before the tour start date.

There is no service fee for providing the changes to the dates of your group package tour if made at least 65 days before the tour start date.

All non-refundable expenses incurred by BnB Colombia tours, such as flights, accommodation, pre-paid transportation, pre-paid guides, pre-paid experiences, and pre-paid tours will be assessed and required to confirm any changes.

Lifetime Credit: Credit with BnB Colombia Tours that is equal to the value of the deposit of your package(s), or day tour(s) until such time as you decide to enjoy it.

Excludes non-refundable expenses incurred by BnB Colombia tours, such as flights, accommodation, pre-paid transportation, pre-paid guides, pre-paid experiences, pre-paid tours, + 5% of the package tours value to cover the salary costs of BnB Colombia Tours employees.
