Reiseroute

Pokhara ist eines der schönsten Tourentäler Nepals. Es ist eine Unterhauptstadt von Nepal und liegt inmitten der hügeligen Region Nepals, die jedes Jahr von Tausenden von Menschen besucht wird. Pokhara hat 5 große Seen. Darunter sind der Phewa-See und der Begnas-See die größten Touristenattraktionen. Auch Bungee Jumping, Sarangkot Paragliding, die Besichtigung der David Falls usw. können in diesem Tal unternommen werden.


Pokhara liegt fast 200 km vom Kathmandutal entfernt. Es dauert fast 4-5 Stunden, um Pokhara von Kathmandu aus zu erreichen. Touristen besuchen Pokhara auch, um die Bergketten zu sehen: Annapurna Range und Mt. Machhapuchhre. Pokhara ist ein Reiseziel, an dem jeder Tourist eine Vielzahl von Aktivitäten unternehmen möchte: Sightseeing, Besuch der Mahendra-Höhle, Gleitschirmfliegen in Sarangkot, Rafting, Flitterwochen, Bootsfahrten auf den Seen (Phewa-See, Begnas-See, Rupa-See usw.), Angeln, Internationales Bergmuseum und nächtliche Partys. Obwohl Pokhara eine belebte Stadt ist, ist sie im Vergleich zu Städten wie Kathmandu auch recht ruhig und friedlich.


Pokhara ist eine der teuersten Städte Nepals und außerdem das Tor zur Muktinath Tour und zum Upper Mustang Trek. Wie in anderen Gegenden Nepals gibt es auch in Pokhara eine große Vielfalt an Kasten und Ethnien.

Pokhara: Ein zauberhaftes Himalaya-Tal

Pokhara ist ein Ferienort von bemerkenswerter Schönheit. Die Gelassenheit des Phewa-Sees und der herrliche Gipfel des Machhapuchhre, der sich dahinter erhebt, schaffen eine Atmosphäre von Frieden und Magie. Pokhara ist Teil einer einst lebhaften Karawanenroute, die sich zwischen Indien und Tibet erstreckte. Dies ist das Land der Magars und Gurungs, die als Gurkha-Soldaten weltweiten Ruhm erlangt haben.

Sehenswerte Orte in Pokhara:

Blick auf die Berge. Die atemberaubendste Sehenswürdigkeit von Pokhara ist zweifellos das spektakuläre Panorama des Annapurna-Massivs, das die Kulisse der Stadt bildet. Das Annapurna-Massiv umfasst die Annapurna I bis IV und die Annapurna Süd. Obwohl die Annapurna I (8.091 m) die höchste von ihnen ist, dominiert der Machhapuchhre (6.977 m) alle anderen in dieser Gegend.

Phewa-See. Der zweitgrößte See des Königreichs misst etwa 1,5 mal 4 km und ist das Zentrum aller Attraktionen in Pokhara. Er ist der größte und bezauberndste der drei Seen, die zum Glanz des Ferienortes beitragen. Das Ostufer, das im Volksmund als Lakeside oder Baidam bekannt ist, ist der bevorzugte Ausgangspunkt für Reisende und hier befinden sich die meisten Hotels, Restaurants und Kunsthandwerksläden.

Der Barahi-Tempel wurde auf einer Insel im Phewa-See erbaut. Diese zweistöckige Pagode ist der Eber-Manifestation von Ajima gewidmet, der Schutzgottheit, die die weibliche Kraft repräsentiert. Vor allem an Samstagen kann man die Gläubigen dabei beobachten, wie sie Tiere über den See tragen, um sie der Gottheit zu opfern.

Der Weltfriedensstupa, ein massiver buddhistischer Stupa, befindet sich am südlichen Ufer des Fewa-Sees und ist nicht nur an sich ein beeindruckender Anblick, sondern auch ein großartiger Aussichtspunkt, von dem aus Sie einen herrlichen Blick auf das Annapurna-Gebirge und die Stadt Pokhara haben.

Devi's Fall. Der lokal als Patale Chhango Devi's Fall (auch bekannt als Devil's, Devin's oder David's) bekannte Wasserfall liegt etwa 2 km südwestlich des Flughafens von Pokhara auf dem Highway nach Tansen. Die Legende besagt, dass ein Trkker (Devin, David) von der Pardi Khola weggespült wurde und in einem unterirdischen Gang unter dem Wasserfall verschwand.

Internationales Bergmuseum: Viele Menschen auf der Welt wissen vielleicht nicht viel über das kleine Land Nepal, aber sie kennen mit Sicherheit diesen höchsten Berg der Welt, den Mount Everest. Nicht nur dieser höchste Gipfel, sondern auch 8 der 14 anderen Achttausender der Welt erheben sich im Himalaya-Gebirge von Nepal.

Der Himalaya ist die Quelle der Wasserressourcen für Milliarden von Menschen auf der Welt. 1. THE CONTRACT:

By booking a trip with First Environmental Trekking, you are agreeing the Terms and Conditions given below. Both parties agree to these Terms and Conditions to resolve any legal matters or other disputes that may arise during the trip.



2. BOOKING A TRIP:


By ‘trip’, we mean any activity, program, package, or service that you purchase from us, such as trekking, tours, hiking, expeditions, adventures, etc.


Your booking becomes valid only after the company sends a you a confirmation email or a confirmation invoice. Once the booking is confirmed by the company, the contract between the company and the client for that trip comes into existence.


The company reserves the right to change brochure prices for your trip before your booking is confirmed or after the end of your trip.


The company will not be liable to any warranty, collateral agreement, prior agreement, description of services, or conditions, other than as expressed herein.



3. DEPOSIT REQUIREMENT:


(a) Nepal Trips:


You will have to pay 25% of the trip cost as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. You can pay the remaining amount upon your arrival in Kathmandu and before your departure for the trip. If the deposit is different from the one outlined in this clause, you will be notified by the company at the time of booking.


(b) India/Tibet/ Bhutan Trips:


If you book 21 days before the trip, you will have to pay only 25% of the total trip cost as a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. If you want the company to arrange your flights, you will also need to send the total amount for the airfares, along with the deposit. If the booking is made when there is less than 21 days left for the trip, full payment is due.


Payment Methods:

Booking deposit can be made by bank transfer or by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard). Please follow the information provided on the booking form.

Please never make the mistake of sending the form details directly to Himalayan Bank. Please also send a copy of your passport or any ID copy along with the filled form. Note: There is 4% surcharge when you make the payment with a credit card.

Please note that we are not liable for any delay or loss during the transfer process. If for some reason the money received by us is less than the amount sent, you will be requested to pay the remaining amount upon arrival.


After you initiate the transfer, please send us the bank reference number or remittance slips. Often the bank sends the money under a different name. So having a reference number/remittance slips and sander details will help us identify who the sender is.



4. FINAL PAYMENT/ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKING/CLIENT DETAILS:


(a) Nepal Trips


For trips in Nepal, final payment can be made upon arrival in Nepal by cash, bank transfers, or credit cards (Visa or MasterCard). If you pay by cards, there will be 4% surcharge.


(b) India/Tibet/ Bhutan Trips:


For trips in India, Tibet, and Bhutan, final payment should be made 21 days prior to the starting date of the trip.


5. CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT:


Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing and must be accepted by the company. The cancellation charges are as follows:


• If the cancellation is made 60 days or more before departure: Loss of deposit.

• If the cancellation is made 59-21 days before departure: 50% of the cost of services booked.

• If the cancellation is made less than 21 days before departure: 100% of the cost of services booked.


We recommend the client to take out cancellation insurance at the time of making the booking.


If you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason once the trip has begun, no refunds will be issued. There will also be no refunds on any unused services, accommodation, transport, sightseeing, or meals.


6. CANCELLATION OF A TRIP BY THE COMPANY:


• First Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed or confirmed trip, prior to departure due to reasons beyond its control (natural disasters, flight issues, wars, government intervention, etc.). If such a case occurs, the company will refund the trip price or offer you an alternative trip of same value.


• The company is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the client may have incurred as a result of the booking.


7. MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:


If you have any medical conditions that may affect your travel, you must notify them in writing at the time of booking. Failure to notify the company that results in the client being refused travel and thus the cancellation of the trip will result in the client being charged 100% of the trip cost as cancellation fees.


Some trips may be unsuitable for certain clients due to physical or mental conditions. The client has the responsibility to find out, prior to booking, if the trip is suitable for him or her. The company will do its best to incorporate requests regarding individual health problems and other special needs; however, they do not form par of the contract and the company should not be held accountable if it cannot provide those requests.  The company is not required to provide any special facilities to the client unless it has agreed to do so in writing. 


The company does not take any responsibility for the standards of the medical facilities provided by the country you are visiting.


8.TRAVEL INSURANCE:


Travel insurance is compulsory for all travelers. The company reserves the right to cancel your trip or  certain part of your trip, with no right of refund, if you are unable to provide proof of insurance upon request.


9. FLIGHT DELAYS AND CHANGES IN THE ITINERARY:


In case of delayed departing flights for domestic flights, the company will meet accommodation (Guest House) and food (Lunch & Breakfast) costs prior to your trip. 


In case of delayed return flights for domestic flights, the client is responsible to bear all additional expenses, including food and accommodation costs. If you wish to make an alternative flight arrangements, all additional cost will be your responsibility.


The company will not accept any responsibility for costs incurred as a result of delayed or missed international flights. The company, however, will do its best to make alternative arrangements whenever possible. 


Also, please note that if due to some unforeseen circumstances, making changes to your itinerary and other arrangements become necessary, the company should be allowed to make those changes.




10. TRIP AMENDMENT:


If booking amendment is requested 21 days or more prior to the original start date for your trip, the company will make the necessary amendments with a charge of US$100 per person. If booking amendment is requested when there is less than 21 days left for trip departure, the company may or may not be able to make the requested amendment depending on the situation. The charge for making the amendment is also likely to be higher as the company will have to make new arrangements with other parties such as hotels and airlines.


11. PASSPORT & VISA:


Please ensure that your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of your trip with First Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd.


Visas for Nepal can be obtained upon arrival in Nepal. Visas for India will have to obtained from your own home country. The company can help arrange visas for Tibet and Bhutan if requested by the client. 


It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visa documentation necessary for the countries you are traveling to. First Environmental Trekking cannot be held responsible if you are refused entry to a country or a place due to incorrect visa documentation.



12. INJURIES, ACCIDENTS AND EVACUATION:


First Environmental Trekking (P.) Ltd. will not be liable for any injury, accident, or illness suffered by the client during the trip. As our package cost does not include any personal insurance, we advise the clients to take adequate insurance packages, including medical emergencies and evacuation by helicopter.



13. SERVICES MISSED OR UNUSED:


No discounts or refunds will be issued for missed or unused services. There will also be no discounts or refunds given for a premature termination of your trip, whether it occurs voluntarily or involuntarily (sickness, death of a family member, late arrival, etc.).


14. UPDATING OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS:


First Environmental Trekking reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. It is the responsibility of the client to keep abreast of any changes. The up-to-date version of Terms and Conditions will always be found on our website www.go2trek.com.
