Unser Everest Base Camp Trek über den Gokyo See führt Sie über das Gokyo Tal und den Cho La Pass zum Basislager des höchsten Berges der Welt, dem Everest. Der Trek zum Everest-Basislager ist das Nonplusultra und der Traum eines jeden Trekkers. Wir landen in der Nähe des Sagarmatha Nationalparks (Sagarmatha ist der nepalesische Name für Everest). Wir erreichen Namche Bazaar, die Hauptstadt der Sherpa (das Volk der Sherpa ist eine tibetische Ethnie), die 3440 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel liegt. Die Sherpas haben die Provinz Kham in Osttibet verlassen, um sich in den Hochtälern des Himalaya in Nepal niederzulassen, insbesondere am Fuße des Mount Everest.

Ein langer Aufstieg bringt uns nach Tengboche (3900 m). Die Nacht ist kalt und je nach Wetterlage kann es sogar schneien. Die Raumtemperatur kann in der Nacht unter Null fallen. Am Morgen, nach dem Besuch des Tengboche-Klosters, wandern wir durch einen herrlichen Wald mit Rhododendron. Wir erreichen Gokyo, besuchen die Gokyo-Seen und besteigen den Gokyo-Gipfel. Über den Cho La Pass wandern wir hinunter nach Gorakshep. Schließlich erreichen wir unser Traumziel, das Everest Base Camp. Auf dem Rückweg erklimmen wir auch den Kalapatthar mit herrlichen Ausblicken auf die Everest-Region.

Ankunft am internationalen Flughafen Tribhuwan (TIA)

Upon your arrival, a representative from all Nepal Hiking will receive you at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA). Our representative will transfer you to your hotel and will explain you about the trek in brief. You may ask our guides if you’ve any query regarding the trek. Our staffs will also assist you for the trek preparation. In the evening, you may enjoy the Kathmandu night around your hotel.

Today after breakfast we start a guided tour to several of the most cultural attraction in Kathmandu including the UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Durbar Square, Pashupati temple, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and the Boudhanath Stupa. You will also meet your trek leader for a briefing about the trek beginning from the next day. After the briefing, there will be a short question and answer session about your trip in which you may ask anything regarding the trek. We all finalize our preparation for the trek. In the evening enjoy the nightlife in Kathmandu.

Early morning we fly from Kathmandu to Lukla : panoramic view of the eastern part of the Himalayas in Nepal. Langtang, Gauri Shanker, Numbre, Manglungtse and finally Everest appear during this flight of 45 minutes. The trek begins with a short descent to the valley of the Dudh Kosi. From the village of Chaunrikarka (2621 m), the path heads north through the Sherpa villages where they grow wheat, potatoes, corn and vegetables. We cross the Dudh Kosi on a wooden bridge suspended.

The day begins with a walk along the Dudh Kosi. The path rises gently. On several occasions, we cross the river, pass the village Jorsale (2805 m) then begin a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar. Half an hour later, we can see Everest. We arrive at Namche early to get to know the famous Sherpa village and its inhabitants. Some shops and traders sell Tibetan jewelry and handicrafts from Tibet. Each week is an important market in Namche where farmers sell their crops around wheat, maize, millet, etc.

Acclimatization and rest in Namche (3440 m). Visit the Sherpa capital, depending on market day and Tibetan shops.

We climb above Namche Bazar by a gently sloping path on the mountainside to the Col de Mong view Ama Dablan and Kantega, two of the most spectacular peaks of Nepal. We then descend to Phorte Trenga to 3600 m at the edge of the Milky River ( Dudh Khosi ) . This allows easy day of our acclimatization to the altitude.

We climb steeply through rhododendrons, junipers and conifers. This part of the trek is especially beautiful in spring when the rhododendrons are in bloom. Along the way we meet many huts used in the summer when the Mountaineers take them to graze their herds of yaks. Some of these huts are occupied until the end of December. We pass through the villages Tongba pastures (3960 m), Gyele ( 3960 m) , and Lhabarma ( 4220 m). The view is beautiful Tawoche Khumbila and all during the day.

We ride regularly view of Cho Oyu, which rises to 8135 m , a fortress of snow and ice. We spend Pangka to 4390 m, and then begin the descent to the river front to back the terminal moraine of the glacier Ngozumpa. We reach the first lake at 4720 m. We discover a second lake 4690 m , and finally arrive at the Gokyo Lake at 4750 m. Gokyo is a place for grazing yaks, consists of seven huts.

This is by climbing a small peak above the lake we get the best view of the Everest region. The ascent of this peak is easy, it takes about 2 hours. From the top, the view is unforgettable, the highest peaks of the Earth are here: Cho Oyu , Makalu , Lhotse , Everest, and Cholaste Tawachee . We then descend to Dragnat where we spend the night.

We descend to Tajung Tso and cross the moraine of the glacier Ngozumpo. We arrive at Thangnak then gradual climb up the Cho La Pass. The descent is gradual until Dzonglha.

We arrive at Lobuche. Superb views of Nuptse , Pumori , Lobuche Peak and Langtren .

We skirt lacier Khumbu , the climb is relatively easy to Gorakshep . Installation at the lodge and in the afternoon can be an optional excursion to the base camp of Everest and back to Gorakshep .

Start early in the morning to enjoy the view, steep climb to Kala Pattar. We are in the midst of a huge amphitheater surrounded by the highest peaks in the world and prestigious in the mineral world of high mountains. Down to Dingboche .

We descend Pangboche where one of the oldest gompas in Nepal. We finally find the forest and villages and we sleep Deboche.

Ascent Tengboche, spiritual heart of Khumbu. Visit the famous monastery, beautiful site dominated by Ama Dablan grnade then descent to the Milky River. We take the path to reach Namche.

We descend to Phakding ( 2600m ) .

A Phakding in the valley of the Dudh Khosi we cross the forest Gumila to get to Lukla.

Morning flight to Kathmandu. On a clear day, the view is superb on the Himalayas. Transfer to the hotel. After lunch, we leave for city tour
