Today, enjoy a half-day excursion through one of Bariloche’s most iconic scenic routes: the Circuito Chico (Small Circuit). This panoramic drive offers postcard-perfect views of Lake Nahuel Huapi, Lake Moreno, and the surrounding snow-capped peaks and forests of northern Patagonia.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey to Puerto Pañuelo, traveling along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Along the way, we’ll admire the charming Swiss-style architecture that defines this region, with colorful gardens and flower-lined paths enhancing the picturesque landscape.

Around 10:00 AM, we’ll board the Gran Victoria to begin sailing across Lake Nahuel Huapi toward Puerto Blest, taking in the grandeur of the Patagonian landscape and the lush green tones of the surrounding forests.

Upon arrival in Puerto Blest, we’ll continue by bus along the Frías River to Puerto Alegre, where we board the Victoria del Sur to sail across Lake Frías. This short but scenic stretch offers beautiful views of Cerro Tronador.

We’ll then reach Puerto Frías, where we complete the necessary border formalities to enter Chile. From there, a bus ride takes us through the heart of the Andes Mountains to the small ecological village of Peulla, surrounded by stunning alpine scenery.

Afterward, we sail again across the emerald waters of Lake Todos los Santos toward Petrohué. Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Osorno, Puntiagudo, and Cerro Tronador volcanoes along the way.

To complete the journey, we travel by road to Puerto Varas, following the shores of Lake Llanquihue, with the majestic Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes dominating the landscape.

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a new adventure to explore two of southern Chile’s most iconic natural landmarks: an active volcano with a perfectly shaped crater, and the famous Petrohué Waterfalls.

The journey begins along the southern shores of Lake Llanquihue, where we’ll learn about the region’s German heritage and its agricultural traditions.

Upon entering Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, we’ll visit the stunning Petrohué Waterfalls, known for their bright turquoise waters cascading over volcanic rock formations — a true natural wonder.

We then continue to the source of the Petrohué River at Todos los Santos Lake, where we’ll stop to admire its peaceful beaches surrounded by towering mountains.

Next, we head toward the base of the Osorno Volcano, where we’ll have free time for lunch (not included) in the charming village of Ensenada. After lunch, we ascend to the volcano’s ski center, located on its slopes, where we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and lakes.

On the return journey to Puerto Varas, the dramatic landscapes of the Petrohué River Valley and Lake Llanquihue provide the perfect end to this scenic day.

Today, we will visit the iconic Torres del Paine National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding natural beauty and ecological significance.

On this adventure through Chilean Patagonia, we’ll visit some of the park’s most remarkable viewpoints and landmarks, including the Sarmiento de Gamboa Lake Lookout, the powerful Paine River Waterfalls, the Upper Viewpoint of Almirante Nieto Mountain, the Cuernos del Paine (Paine Horns), and the entrance at Laguna Amarga.

Once inside the park, we’ll begin exploring its incredible network of hiking trails, guided by local experts. A lunch box will be provided so we can enjoy a meal surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.

Throughout the day, we’ll continue discovering the flora, fauna, and unique geography of the southernmost region of Patagonia.

At the end of this unforgettable day, we return to Puerto Natales for the night.

Enjoy a free day in Puerto Natales to explore the city at your own pace or take part in one of the many optional excursions available in the area.

Alternatively, you can go horseback riding at Cerro Dorotea, a great way to enjoy panoramic views of the region, or take a trek to Cerro Benítez, a scenic hike known for its chance to spot Andean condors in flight

Rancho Aparte experience will allow you to savor home-cooked meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The dishes are prepared with local products and a ubiquitous ingredient in homemade food...lots of love!

The menu is accompanied by selected wine pairings from Argentine and Patagonian wineries. Therefore, with each course we respect the aromas and flavors in a harmonious and palatable way. We have four fixed menus; two of them "traditional". They are based on regional cuisine and adapt the local products to a journey of unforgettable flavors. The other two menus are "vegetarians or vegans". They are designed so that those who choose this type of food can also enjoy this experience, where most of the ingredients used are selected from organic farms in the area.

We dedicate this day to one of the World’s Natural Wonder: the Moreno glacier. This ice field- type glacier flows down from the Patagonian Icefield, a big sheet of ice that with its 22.000 square kilometers is the third largest glacier area in the world, after Antarctica (14 M sq km) and Greenland (1 M sq km). Because unusual favorable local conditions, this glacier is the only one in the world that shows a closure and rupture process. The road leads to the very front of the glacier, which will be only meters away from your eyes. The roar of the chunks of ice falling inside the glacier or from the glacier into the lake, the frequent collapse of the front seracs into the turquoise water, makes out of this day a very special and unique experience.

Then we wil go up to “Bajo de las Sombras” from where, you will board the catamaran boat to navigate the Lago Rico where your will be able to appreciate the amazing ice wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier and its icebergs. Then we go back to our accommodation in El Calafate.

Upon arrival at Ushuaia Airport, a transfer will take us to our hotel located in the city center.

Domestic flight from El Calafate (FTE) to Ushuaia (USH) is non included. 

Nach dem Frühstück gehen wir zum touristischen Pier, um den Ausflug zu beginnen. Wir steuern die Insel Alicia an, wo wir eine Kolonie südamerikanischer Seelöwen finden. Dann segeln wir zur Vogelinsel, um Königs- und Kaiserscharbe zu beobachten, die in der Nähe ihrer Nester leben, und von Frühjahr bis Herbst können wir sogar ihre Bruten entdecken. Wieder fahren wir nach Osten zu einer anderen kleinen Insel, auf der wir je nach Jahreszeit südamerikanische Pelzrobben beobachten können. Ganz in der Nähe dieser Insel befindet sich der Leuchtturm Les Eclaireurs, ein authentisches Symbol von Ushuaia, das 1919 erbaut wurde. Von dort aus haben wir einen Blick auf die Insel, auf der Felsenscharben leben.

Auf dem Rückweg nach Ushuaia gehen wir an der Insel Bridges Island an Land, um auf einem Pfad zur Interpretation der Tierwelt zu wandern, während wir die Geschichte der Ureinwohner, der Yamanas, hören. Auf dieser Insel finden wir die größten "Concheros" (Muschelvorkommen) der Yamanas in der Region.

Da dies die größte Insel ist, erreichen wir den höchsten Aussichtspunkt, von dem aus wir einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Beagle-Kanal mit der Stadt Ushuaia in der Ferne genießen können. Während der Fahrt bieten wir Ihnen Kaffee mit Likör, verschiedene Teesorten, eine köstliche heiße Schokolade mit Keksen und Plätzchen und natürlich das typische argentinische Getränk, den Mate.

Wir verlassen die Stadt Ushuaia in Richtung Südwesten und fahren auf der nationalen Route Nr. 3 in Richtung Feuerland-Nationalpark. Nachdem wir die Brücke über den Pipo-Fluss in der Nähe des Golfclubs von Ushuaia überquert haben, erreichen wir den Bahnhof der Austral-Fueguino-Eisenbahn, dem Zug ans Ende der Welt, wo wir in einen der magischsten Züge einsteigen.

Entlang der von Lenga-Wäldern und Torfmooren gesäumten Straße erreichen wir den Acigami-See (ehemals Roca-See), einen See eiszeitlichen Ursprungs, der von Bergen und Wäldern umrahmt ist und an dem man einheimische Vögel beobachten kann. Der letzte Abschnitt der Tour führt uns nach Bahía Lapataia, nachdem wir den Kormoran-Archipel, Torfmoore und einen Biberdamm besucht haben.

In Bahía Lapataia finden wir neben der Meeresküste, die reich an Mollusken und Muscheln ist, auch Spuren der alten Ureinwohner, die diese Region bewohnten. Dort haben wir Zeit für einen Spaziergang auf dem Steg, von dem aus wir Fotos machen und das Gefühl genießen können, am Ende der Welt zu sein. Anschließend kehren wir zu unserer Unterkunft in Uhsuaia zurück.
