Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, set out on a guided sightseeing tour of Delhi, beginning with Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, an architectural marvel that has stood for centuries. From here, step into the vibrant chaos of Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi’s oldest and most bustling market. Wander through its narrow alleys filled with colorful shops, aromatic street food stalls, and traditional bazaars that still reflect the charm of Mughal-era trade. Continue with a walk to Fatehpuri Masjid before enjoying a rickshaw ride that takes you through the heart of Chandni Chowk, ending near the imposing Red Fort, a 17th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Rejoin your driver and head to Rajghat, a peaceful memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, where an eternal flame burns in his honor. Later, visit Humayun’s Tomb, India’s first garden-style tomb that inspired the creation of the Taj Mahal, showcasing exquisite Persian architecture with symmetrical gardens and water channels. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India, and the stately India Gate, an archway built in memory of soldiers who laid down their lives in World War I. Conclude your day with a visit to the Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, built in 1193 to commemorate the beginning of Muslim rule in India. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Delhi - Agra (205 Km/Approx. 4-5 Hrs)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Agra, once the glorious capital of the Mughal Empire and home to some of India’s most treasured architectural masterpieces. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for a while. Later, visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that served as the stronghold of the Mughal emperors. Its palaces, mosques, and courtyards reflect the grandeur of the dynasty.
In the evening, witness the world’s most famous monument of love—the Taj Mahal. This breathtaking mausoleum, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, is renowned for its ethereal beauty and perfect symmetry. As the sun sets, watch the white marble glow in shades of gold and pink, creating a magical and unforgettable experience. Overnight stay in Agra.
Agra - Jaipur (260 Km/Approx. 5-6 Hrs) via Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Jaipur, the fabled Pink City. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of Emperor Akbar, built in 1569. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a stunning example of Mughal architecture, featuring monuments such as Jama Masjid, the intricately designed Panch Mahal, the imposing Buland Darwaza, and the sacred Tomb of Salim Chishti. Despite its grandeur, the city was abandoned after just 15 years due to water scarcity, leaving behind a ghostly yet majestic charm.
Continue your drive to Jaipur, where the vibrant culture of Rajasthan comes alive. Known as the Pink City for its rose-hued buildings, Jaipur is a treasure trove of palaces, forts, and bustling markets. The city reflects the opulent lifestyle of the Rajput kings and their keen eye for art and architecture. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur Sightseeing
After an early breakfast, head to the magnificent Amber Fort, perched atop the rugged Aravalli Hills. Ascend to the fort by jeep, passing through ancient gates once used by the maharajas. Within its walls, explore a series of courtyards, palaces, and halls that narrate tales of valor, romance, and grandeur, all overlooking the tranquil Maota Lake.
On your return to the city, pause for a photo stop at Hawa Mahal, the iconic “Palace of Winds.” This five-storied facade, adorned with 953 intricately carved windows, allowed royal women to observe street life without being seen. Continue to the City Palace, a magnificent complex that still houses the royal family of Jaipur. Its museums display royal costumes, weapons, and artifacts that give insight into Rajasthan’s regal past. Next, visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, which features monumental instruments that were used to measure time, track stars, and predict eclipses.
In the evening, immerse yourself in Jaipur’s vibrant bazaars. From textiles and carpets to jewelry, pottery, and handicrafts, the markets here are a treasure trove of souvenirs. Wander through colorful lanes, soaking in the energy and artistry that define this enchanting city. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur - Mumbai (By Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to Jaipur Airport for your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take the day to unwind. Mumbai, India’s financial and entertainment capital, is a city of dazzling contrasts. Known for its cosmopolitan character, it blends colonial heritage with modern skyscrapers, bustling street life with glamorous film studios, and centuries-old bazaars with luxury shopping. From the iconic Gateway of India to the Victorian Gothic architecture of South Mumbai, from the bustling energy of Marine Drive to the serene sands of Juhu Beach, Mumbai offers a kaleidoscope of experiences. This is the city where tradition meets modernity and where every corner has a story to tell. Overnight stay in Mumbai.
Mumbai Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a fascinating sightseeing tour of Mumbai, beginning with an excursion to the Elephanta Caves, located on a serene island across the Arabian Sea. Enjoy a picturesque ferry ride from the Gateway of India, watching the city skyline gradually fade as you approach this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating back to the 5th–8th centuries, the Elephanta Caves house magnificent rock-cut temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The highlight is the awe-inspiring Trimurti sculpture, a 20-feet-high three-headed depiction of Shiva as creator, preserver, and destroyer, a masterpiece of ancient Indian art. After exploring these age-old sanctuaries, return by ferry to the Gateway of India.
Spend time admiring and photographing the Gateway of India, Mumbai’s most iconic landmark. Built in 1924 to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary, this grand basalt arch overlooking the sea has become synonymous with the city’s identity.
Your next stop is the Prince of Wales Museum (now known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya), one of India’s premier museums. With its Indo-Saracenic architecture crowned by a striking white dome, the museum houses over 2,000 miniature paintings, rare artifacts from the Indus Valley Civilization, and collections of sculptures, textiles, and decorative arts, making it a treasure trove for history and art lovers.
Later, visit the verdant Hanging Gardens on Malabar Hill, laid out in 1880. These terraced gardens offer panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the city below, while the famous flower clock and beautifully manicured lawns add charm to this tranquil escape amidst the bustling metropolis.
Conclude your day with a leisurely drive along Marine Drive, the heartbeat of Mumbai. This sweeping boulevard, curving along the Arabian Sea, is affectionately called the “Queen’s Necklace” when lit up at night, as the glittering streetlights resemble a sparkling string of pearls. Stroll along the promenade, feel the sea breeze, and soak in the vibrant energy of Mumbai as day turns to dusk. Overnight stay in Mumbai.
