As you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by one of our representatives from Escape Himalaya. You will then be transferred to your hotel where you will proceed to check-in. There are no planned activities for the day, so you may relax and get to know that lay of the land at the hotel. Itinerary
Known as “The Valley of Glaciers”, Langtang region is located 19 miles north of Kathmandu. Langtang Valley is filled with absolutely rewarding sights of massive snowy Himalayas and cerulean glaciers that look like they have been coated with a sapphire patina. The stunning peak of the Langtang Lirung, with an altitude of 7246m, stands magnificently in its colossal quiddity. The Langtang Valley Trek is best views also presents the views of the Helambu Valley, the high peak lakes at Gosainkunda, an enthralling trudge through the Langtang National Park and the amazing icy pulchritude of Gyangchempo peak, making sure that you experience the enthralling magnitude of the natural quintessence of the region.
Trekking into the Langtang Valley gives you the wide prospects of vast florescent meadows where you can walk through the Langtang National Park founded in 1976 which conserves the distinct and exotic floras and fauna found there. The park also conserves rare species of animals idiosyncratic to the Langtang region like the Red Panda, Snow Leopards, Himalayan Black Bears, Wild Thars, Ghorals; and more than 250 species of birds have been conserved in this area. Sal trees, different species of rhododendron blossoms, oak forests, hemlock foliages, chirpine, and several other floras can be discovered during the trekking, as they present a natural beguiling to the trekking trails. The heavenly ornamental ambiance of the trek is truly one to be marveled upon.
You will begin the Langtang Valley Trek from Syabrubesi, which takes you all the way through pine woods, ebullient mountain streams, jagged rocky terrains and embezzlement of snow-white peaks, grassy florescent meadows to the Kyanjin Gompa, where you can visit the monastery and also hike to Kyanjin RI (4773m).

Drive to Syabru Bensi (1462m/4795ft) by jeep, Duration
Leaving Kathmandu, we will drive out all along the north-western hills and get pleasurable views of the giant Himalayan and see brief glimpses of the lifestyle of the people passing through different rural settlements. We will also pass along the Trishuli Bazaar before reaching Dhunche. Driving ahead from Dhunche, we will reach Syabrubesi. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Trek to Lama Hotel (2500m/8200ft), Duration
We will walk ahead from Syabrubesi and walk across the Bhote Koshi River and then continue our walk along the Langtang River. It takes around 5 hours to reach the Lama Hotel from Syabrubesi. We will also gradually climb to Bamboo and trekking further, we will move to Ramche lying at the elevation of 2400m. Ramche is set at the Coast of the Langtang River. On the way, we may also spot wild monkeys, Red Pandas, and other habituated animals in the forests .Walking further ahead; we will finally reach the Lama Hotel. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Trek to Langtang Village (3307m/10845ft), Duration
We will have a pleasant walk on this day since we will be following the trail through wooded areas of blossoming rhododendrons and pine trees. We will also pass by Ghoda Tabela where we can see thick lush areas adorned with lot of plants and a florescent presence of foxgloves and red poppies. Walking for another three hours on the beautiful trail, we will reach the Langtang village lying at the height of 3455m, where you will relax for the evening. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Langtang village to Kyanjing Ri (4773m/15655ft) and back to Kyanjing Gompa (3798m/12495ft), Duration
This is one of the important days of the trek. We begin our trek from Langtang Village and gradually move to Sindum and then stroll ahead to reach Yamphu (3640m). We will also traverse the Laja River then ascend to a wonderful viewpoint where we will see spectacular icefalls gushing from Langtang Lirung and see the Kyanjin Gompa. After we arrive at Kyanjin Gompa, we will have a short hike to Kyanjin RI (4773m) and return back to Kyanjin Gompa. From here you will see stunning views of Mt Gyangchempo, Mt. Langtang Lirung and more. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Kyangjuma Gompa Exploration and climb Chorkari Ri (5050m/16564ft), Duration
We have a day rest at Kyanjin Gompa on this day. We will also explore the region. You can visit the monastery as well as the cheese factory. Climbing to Chorkari RI lying at the altitude of 5050m behind the Langtang Village, we will catch beguiling views of the fantastic ice walls and awesome vistas of the whole Langtang Himalayan Range, including Langshisa RI (6,810 m), Langtang Lirung (7,244m), Ganjala peak, Gyangchempo (6,888 m) and more. Overnight at guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Kyanjin Gompa- Lama Hotel (2500m/8200ft), Duration
Taking around 6 hours on this day, we will walk back to the Lama Hotel with awesome memories of the trek. Overnight at guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Lama Hotel to Syabru Bensi (1462m/4795ft), Duration
On this day, we will trek from the Lama Hotel and descend to Syabru Bensi taking around 6 hours of time. Overnight at the guesthouse. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu.
Today, we will drive to Kathmandu from Syabru Bensi, which takes around 7 hours. The rest of the time, you can rest at the hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu. Breakfast included.
Farewell
Today marks the end-day for the trekking trip. You will be escorted by one of our Escape Himalaya representative to the airport from where you will depart.

General Booking Conditions
For Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan Tours: Provide us a photocopy of your passport and 20% of trip cost as a deposit while booking your trip with us. The deposit amount is nonrefundable.
Risk and Liabilities
All the Nepal, China and Bhutan Tours are conducted under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the respective countries. We are not liable for any changes or cancellations of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like the change in rules and regulations of Country, Government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability and cancellation of flights, delays, sickness or accident and breakdown of vehicles. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall be borne by the clients themselves. Therefore, Travel Insurance is mandatory.
Last Minute Booking
We accept last minute bookings. You can book a trip to Nepal 7 days prior to the trip departure dates. Last minute booking may not be acceptable in the cases of Bhutan or Tibet Trips.
Postponing the Trip
A written notice should be sent to us 30 days prior to the trip departure date.
In case of postponing of Nepal Tour, minimum USD 150 will be charged as a current trip cancellation charge and the remaining amount will be transferred for the postponed trip.
In case of postponing of Tibet and Bhutan Tour, a trip cancellation charge will be charged as per the trending market rate of those countries. It solely depends upon the ongoing policy of our agents in Tibet and Bhutan. For now, 20% of trip costs and 50% of trip costs will be charged in case of postponing of Bhutan and Tibet Trip respectively.
Trip Cancellation (Nepal)
In case you intend to cancel your trip for any reasons, you need to write it to us 14 days prior to your trip departure date. We shall approve it as canceled only after receiving a valid written notice from the client. If the reason for your cancellation is genuine like injury or serious illness, you can postpone your trip or transfer your booking to another person who meets all the requirements for the trip. However, a fee of USD 150 per person will be charged if you postpone or transfer your trip within 15 days prior to your trip date. As per our policy, the deposit amount is non-refundable, therefore, you can utilize the amount to book a trip with Escape Himalaya next time.
Trip Cancellation (Bhutan)
A valid written notice of cancellation should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case you cancel your Bhutan Tour, 20% of the trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge (even in case of postponing or transfer of a trip to another person). The remaining amount will remain secured with Escape Himalaya as a deposit from you. You can utilize it to book the tour with Escape Himalaya next time. The amount is non-refundable.
Trip Cancellation (Tibet)
A valid written notice of cancellation should be provided 30 days prior to your trip departure date. In case you cancel your Tibet tour, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as a cancellation charge (even in case of postponing or transfer of a trip to another person). The remaining amount will remain secured with Escape Himalaya as a deposit from you. You can utilize it to book the tour with Escape Himalaya next time. The amount is non-refundable.
Incomplete Tour
We are not liable for any refunds in cases of any incomplete tour, trek or expedition whatever the reason.
Unforeseen Circumstances
If your trip gets canceled due to any unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, war or unfavorable climatic conditions, we will arrange another trip for you. Thus, even if your trip isn’t the one you chose, your money will not go in vain.
Price Changing
We reserve our rights to change the price under various circumstances. Though our action will be reasonably pertaining to cases of some circumstances such as the drastic change in exchange rate, inflation, government actions, and others, we are not liable to answer to anyone for our action.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance package to all our clients. The insurance must cover all the medical expense, personal accident, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation, loss of gears and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects and helicopter services in the mountains.
Flight Delay/Cancellation
Flight delays and cancellation tend to happen quite often during bad weather conditions in remote areas, particularly in the Everest region, the Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot and Jumla region. Therefore, it is advisable to carry some extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. Escape Himalaya will not be responsible for any of the additional expenses. Therefore, please plan accordingly.
Your Personal Belongings
We are not liable for any damage or loss of your luggage or property. They are at your own risk.
During the Tour
In case you commit any unlawful act during your tour and you are compelled to leave Nepal, Escape Himalaya is not liable for any kind of refunds.
