Itinerary

Take a wonderful tour of Israel and Egypt for 10 days. Tour the highlights of Israel with a licensed guide, to visit Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and much more. Continue on to Egypt to see the pyramids, sphinx, and the culture of Egypt.

Program zájezdu

Day 1

Arrival in Israel

There will be a driver waiting to meet you at the Ben Gurion airport. He will drive you to your hotel in Jerusalem. Overnight hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 2

Jerusalem

The Old City of Jerusalem where you will start touring with your guide. Start with a beautiful panoramic view of the Old City from the top of the Mount of Olives. Visit King David's Tomb on Mount Zion, the room of the Last Supper, and the Dormition Abbey. When entering the Old City, walk through the Armenian Quarter, and the Jewish Quarter to the Cardo. See the Western Wall, and continue walking to the Christian Quarter. Stroll along the Via Dolorosa, following the Stations of the Cross, to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to the New City and tour Yad Vashem, the Museum that commemorates the Holocaust. On Saturdays, drive to the birthplace of John the Baptist, southwest of Jerusalem. Stop by Mary's spring and visit the Church of Saint John the Baptist. Return to hotel in Jerusalem for overnight.

Day 3

Highlights of the Galilee

Today a driver will pick you up, and take you to Nazareth. Tour the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Drive to Tiberias, the resort town on the Galilee. On the way to Capernaum, enjoy the drive along the Kineret. View the ruins of the ancient synagogue, where Jesus taught. At the foot of the Golan Heights visit the site of the Miracle of the Fish and Loaves. Stop at the Sea of Galilee, the Baptismal Site, where the Jordan River flows. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 4

Dead Sea and Masada

In the morning check out of your hotel, and get ready for the touring day. The driver will take you to Masada, by way of the Judean hills. When arriving at Masada, enjoy a cable car ride up with your guide. Tour the remains of the walls, palace, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths, and the Roman barracks. After the tour drive to your hotel in Tel Aviv for overnight.

Day 5

Free day in Tel Aviv

Enjoy a restful day, to do some shopping, go to the beach, or just rest. Of course, if you like we can add in another touring day (for a fee). Overnight Tel Aviv

Day 6

Caesarea, Acre, and Haifa

Tour the theater, the excavations, and the archeological ruins. We will stop at Megiddo national park, and learn about the history of the site, that was once a battle field from Egyptian through Assyrian and Israeli times. Continue on to Haifa to see the Baha'i Gardens and Shrine. Drive on to Acre, to tour the amazing Crusader City and the crypt. Walk through the market, and return to your hotel in Tel Aviv.

Day 7

Eilat

In the morning there will be a flight from Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv to Ramon airport in Eilat. Check into your hotel in Eilat, we will reserve the hotel for the day, and you can go to the beach, walk around the city, or we can provide a jeep tour of the Red Canyon in Eilat (extra $50 for the tour). At 21:00, a driver will pick you up and take you to the Taba border with Egypt. Drive through the night to Cairo.

Day 8

Cairo

In the morning when you arrive in Cairo, start the tour with the Egyptian museum, with its over 140,000 artifacts. Continue on to tour the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. In the evening check into your hotel in Cairo for overnight.

Day 9

Cairo

Today we will tour the Saakara Valley with some of the oldest pyramids in Egypt. The Step Pyramid, also known as the Djoser Pyramid, is the oldest known pyramid in the world. After, walk through the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar, where everything is for sale. Overnight Cairo.

Day 10

Departure

There will be a transfer from your hotel to the Cairo airport for your flight home.
