Itinerary

Nature lovers in particular will get their money's worth during a trip on the Iller bike path! Between Oberstdorf and Ulm you can admire the beautiful landscape of the Allgäu. Cycle downhill towards Ulm, with the Alps in your back. The Iller Radweg is a section of the Allgäu cycling tour, a 4-star ADFC qualified cycle path.

Oberstdorf - Bad Grönenbach

Start your journey along the Iller cycle path today. Cycle towards Sonthofen and pass the source of the Iller, where the Breitach, Stillach and Trettach rivers flow into the Iller. Via Immenstadt, which is characterized by its historic buildings, you reach Kempten. Discover the history of one of the oldest towns in Germany, for example during the multivision show in the underground Erasmus Chapel on St. Mang Square. Surrounded by countless forests and lakes, Kempten lies picturesquely in the middle of the beautiful Allgäu countryside. You then cycle on to Dietmannsried, where you can marvel at the Iller breakthrough. At the end of the day, you cycle on through Bad Grönenbach.

Day 3

Bad Grönenbach - Ulm

From Memmingen, the city of gates and towers, follow the Iller cycle path. You will reach Kirchdorf, which lies in the central Iller valley. Cycle on to the municipality of Dettingen, one of the six Illertal municipalities in the district of Biberach. Passing the municipality of Kirchberg, Illertissen and Senden, you finally reach Ulm, the destination of your cycle tour.

Your cycle tour ends today. We would be happy to extend your cycle tour along the Danube or towards Lake Constance
